LP didn't do anything manipulation!
seanfer:
In 2019 there were just 2 serious contenders but in 2023 we have 4.
Also look at the 2019 results from states, you will see how figures were allocated by 2 parties in their strongholds. e:g Delta, Anambra, Kano, Kaduna and co returning millions of votes per state, but in 2023 the BVAS machine change the story because the total accreditation must correspond with the total votes.
Both APC, PDP and LP manipulate the 2023 elections one way or the order in their stronghold and the party with largest spread nationwide got the highest number of votes.
I am not trying to convince you or change your narrative on the election but stop making it look like LP didn’t do some manipulations also.

You blame the West for everything including for our ineptitude. Who built the refinery? Not the West?
kaymart:
Today, I decided to use the YouTube to search major and popular western TV channels like Sky news, BBC, CNN. One thing that I conspicuously noticed is the fact that they all did not report the news about the commissioning of such a huge project and the few not so known Channels that reported it did so sparingly using our local tv transmission.

Haba!!!!!!

They will always rush to report live any bad news about Nigeria and Africa such as Militancy, Terrorisms, Internet frauds and so on.

The west bias is abjectly disgraceful.

Africa need to take it's place in the world of great possibilities and Godwilling, this is the begining of something great and innovative on our continent. We cannot and should not continue to be slaves generations after generations for the rest of our existences...

The Arabians got emaciated and pull themselves out of penury and today, even the wests can not do without visiting UAE and the rest of the gulf countries.

Africa can be great too.
Igbos, Hausa, Yoruba, Nupe, Fulani, Idoma, Ogonis, Ebira, etc and the rest of Africa should embrace positivies and unison. This way, we can go far ahead be accorded our own respect.
God bless Nigeria
God bless Africa.

More like bribery, money politics, compromising institutions like INEC and possibly the judiciary.

The Perfect Union: Grace, Resilience, And Constructive Engagement In Tinubu's Journey To The Presidency

The Perfect Union: Grace, Resilience, And Constructive Engagement In Tinubu's Journey To The Presidency

As the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the 16th President of Nigeria draws near, Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah, a writer based in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, offers his candid advice.

Reflecting on Tinubu's remarkable journey, Omo-Ikirodah emphasizes the importance of grace, resilience, and constructive engagement in shaping the nation's future.

Grace Personified: A Journey Beyond Expectations

Tinubu's ascent to the presidency is a testament to the manifestation of grace in his life. Grace, often understood as divine favor or blessing, has accompanied Tinubu throughout his political career. It has enabled him to overcome challenges, navigate turbulent waters, and emerge stronger than ever. His rise to power defied expectations, serving as an inspiration to all who witnessed his remarkable journey.

Resilience in the Face of Adversity

Alongside the grace bestowed upon Tinubu, his journey has been characterized by resilience. He faced betrayals, opposition, and attempts to undermine his credibility, yet he remained steadfast in his pursuit of his goals. Tinubu's resilience allowed him to rise above the noise, remain focused on his vision, and prove his mettle as a leader capable of steering Nigeria towards a brighter future.

Constructive Engagement: Bridging Divides and Fostering Unity

As Tinubu assumes the highest office in the land, it is crucial for the opposition and haters to embrace a more constructive approach. Rather than perpetuating lies or engaging in divisive rhetoric, constructive engagement offers an opportunity to bridge ideological divides and foster unity for the betterment of the nation. Recognizing the manifestation of grace in Tinubu's journey can serve as a catalyst for the opposition to engage in substantive discussions on policies, governance, and national development.

Advice for the Opposition: Embrace the Power of Constructive Criticism

1 Seek Common Ground: Instead of focusing solely on differences, the opposition should seek common ground with Tinubu's administration. Identifying shared goals and interests provides a foundation for constructive engagement and collaboration.

2 Offer Alternative Solutions: Criticism gains significance when accompanied by alternative solutions. The opposition should focus on presenting viable policy proposals, allowing for a healthy exchange of ideas that can lead to better outcomes for the nation.

3 Fact-Check and Verify: Upholding the integrity of information is essential. The opposition should engage in rigorous fact-checking and rely on credible sources to prevent the spread of misinformation and baseless claims.

4 Embrace a Unifying Language: Unity and collaboration should be central themes in political discourse. The opposition should adopt a unifying language that transcends partisan divisions, fostering an environment conducive to progress and development.

Conclusion

As Nigeria prepares to witness the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the 16th President, the intertwining narratives of grace, resilience, and constructive engagement provide a unique perspective on his journey.

Recognizing the manifestation of grace in Tinubu's rise to power calls for a more constructive approach from the opposition and haters. By embracing constructive criticism, seeking common ground, offering alternative solutions, fact-checking information, and fostering a unifying language, the opposition can contribute to a stronger democracy and a more prosperous Nigeria.

Obi is challenging the results in 11 states and he has proof he won in these states. Obi is also challenging the fact that Tinubu did not get 25% in Abuja. He is also challenging INEC for not following its own guidelines. So saying Shettima double nomination is the strongest point is gross foolishness

Politics › Re: Atiku's Greed Ended Pdp's Chances Of Reclaiming Power by DMerciful(m):
Instead of you to blame INEC for rigging the 2023 election to favour Tinubu, you're here talking nonsense.

Why do you think even with Atiku, Peter Obi,Kwankwaso, Wike in PDP in 2019 couldn't defeat Bubu that failed woefully first term? It is because INEC rigged the 2019 elections.

If you say they split their votes when they went their separate ways, how come APC got 15 million votes in 2019 and 8million votes in 2023? Who split APC votes? If Atiku or Obi had gotten 10 million votes, APC would have gotten 11million. Thats how terrible INEC is but the court will correct this nonsense
BERNIMOORE:
Instead Of queueing behind Good luck Jonathan and have his turn, he rather form nPDP to remove PDP from power......he came back and contest in 2019 and his campaign was supported by Wike Kwakwanso & others...Instead of supporting his deputy Peter obi based on the Asaba decision to bring power to the south... Atiku should have openly give up his presidential ambition and people like wike won't even contest ...it would have been Atiku forces plus Kwankwanso forces plus wike forces plus Peter Obi forces....and PDP Would have won easily.....

LP has locus because they instituted it after election making it a post election matter. It is one of the grounds to disqualify a winner in the presidential election petition
seanfer:
The Electoral Act 2022 stipulates that only a party member who participated in the primary can sue the party on how nomination was done.
Your example of husband killing his wife is not same as this section of electoral act, criminal act is different.
As it stands today LP and PDP just lost one of their prayers in their petition about double nomination, reason been that they don’t have locus standi and it is pre-election matter.

Zombie like your moniker
zomby:
There should be a national law that says “as a citizen of Nigeria you must vote at your home state”
You cannot relocate from Kwara state to Oyo state and be permitted to vote in Oyo state during the gubernatorial election, you must return to kwara to vote.
Without a doubt, the northerners will embrace this new law, simply because they respect themselves and also have fondness for where they’re from…same goes with the Yorubas. I’m also very certain that the igbos and all others in the country will accept this law.

This should be one of the things the new administration should focus on. Yes, we are all one, but this new law will give all Nigerian citizens a sense of attachment, inclusion, and kinship. It will also protect various heritage all across the country.

Something tells me that this law will be passed and enforced very soon.
