All of you have been here since 2014 reinforcing incompetence and failures but your time is up Okoroawusa: Have you also noticed that the most consistent monikers on Nairaland are the supporters of APC and Tinubu since 2015. Most of the monikers that were avid supporters of GEJ and Atiku have changed over time. Some have left Nairaland totally. Monikers like Kyase, LeoDeKing, Sarrki, , Passingshot and many more have been consistent for years because we don't change moniker with every election season. Tinubu built no major infrastructure in Lagos. Expansion of badagry express way? That terrible road thats incomplete and has nothing to do with Tinubu?
You are now changing your question because I have answered it
Power Stations and General Hospitals are Major Infrastructures
Lekki ,Ajah,Sangotedo ,Banana Island Districts are Major Infrastructures
Water plants are Major Infrastructures
The last major infrastructure built by the FG in Lagos before Buhari's Railway was the 3rd Mainland bridge over 30 years ago
Condemned roads rebuilt by Tinubu are too many to mention
417 road construction projects spanning 250 kilometres across the state in the first three years of his administration. 255 of these roads were already completed within Tinubu's first 3 years while others were near completion
Construction of Adeola-Odekun road
Dualisation of Ikorodu-Itokin-Epe Link Road
Dualisation of Ejigbo-Ajao Estate/Airport Road.
Dualisation of Mende/Opebi Link Road.
Expansion of Badagry Expressway.
Also during the first three years, six strategic roads were upgraded to dual carriageway status complete with streetlights, drainage channels and walkways. They are Ikotun/Igando Road in Alimosho, Kudirat Abiola Way in Ikeja, Akin adesola Axis in Eti-Osa, Itire-Lawanson Ojuelegba-Yaba Road in Mushin, Surulere and Mainland LGAs, Awolowo Road in Eti-Osa, and Lagos Island Local Governments Areas, and Moshalashi-Agege Motor Road in Mushin Local
|

The remaining 97% of Lagos state was in Awolowo's Western Region

Even with your Igbo hate, you cannot accuse Igbos of voting only Igbos lhordspy: They will tell us Nigeria is for everybody and Not about tribe. But they can criticise Authur Eze an igbo man for endorsing Atiku a fulani/hausa man. Calling for his head and calling him a betrayal of the igbos.
But praise Obasanjo, a yoruba man for leaving his own tribeman to endorse their candidate, an igbo man; Peter obi. Calling him a true democrat and champion of democracy.

What do you mean by Yoruba elder statesman? Obj is a Nigerian elder statesman, why are you so tribalistic inspite of your exposure? lhordspy: I always criticise Bayo Onanuga, the APC spokeperson for being emotional always and quick to react to insignificant things. But you see this Daniel Bwala of PDP, i see no difference between him and Dino melaye. Or maybe they share the same faculty of reasoning (with due respect). Very flat and shallow.

Politics › Re: Obasanjo: Nigerians Moved From Frying Pan To Fire Under APC by DMerciful(m): 6:27pm On Jan 01, 2023 |
You need to be wise to changing times. In 2019, it was about 83 million people in poverty, now its 133 million. In 2019, it was 10 million out of school children, now its 20 million, in 2019 exchange rate was around 400, now 700. Unemployment rate was 23% now 40%. So as the problem gets worse, the solution must change to accommodate the new reality. A solution proposed in 2019 will not work in 2023 and as such Nigeria needs Peter Obi at a time like this Adblg0610: Obasanjo speaks from both sides of the mouth. In 2015 , he called Goodluck Johnathan a clueless President and said that Nigeria was on the precipice. He predicted doom for the nation and couldn’t wait to see the back of GEJ. He was praising Buhari in glowing terms. In 2019, he supported Atiku against Buhari . Now, fast forward to 2023, he has dumped Atiku and started blowing the trumpet for Peter Obi. The question is, if Obasanjo is a marketer of a product that is supposed to heal a patient of terminal disease, and he is seen to be this consistently inconsistent , what do you think would happen to his integrity rating among the people? |

The attack Soludo melted to Obi was not only to Obi but an attck on entire Igbos. You just can't say what he said at a time like this. chatinent: I happened to be at the event of Adichie where Soludo and Obi were present. Of course, I love Chimamanda Adichie...as a fan, I came to see her.
Soludo kept feeling uneasy and trying his best not to cross close to Obi...like sth was pursuing him or he was pursued by sth. It was obvious to all. To an extent, he got up, gave an excuse, and left.
There was a mocking laughter that ensued when he was leaving amongst the crowd.
Funny but true, the Igbos have marked Soludo as a traitor and his political career may be affected.
But is this all necessary? Is Obi a saint? |
