She's the woman I love the most and has given the highest money and attention in this life, but even if I love someone the most, don't violate my principles — I don't joke with them.
She has money, but I still love spending it on her. All I want is: don't violate my rules no matter what. So you locked your mum outside and you are proud to say it. Mr principle. Every woman should pray not to have a son like you. |

Babsojimjim: I happen to establish an oil business which I have not finished paying for the capital I borrowed to start it. The boys I brought in to work with me on casual basis with no written agreement, will always steal the oil when am not around and when I caution them they will challenge me and not keep to my orders.
Their last action when I was not around was very painful, they refused taking the work serious such that I had great loss. From where I was, I told them that if they dont execute the job, whatever decision I take is final. Despite my comments they never took the job serious, and by the time I came back, I asked them to leave my business alone, I even gave the landlord of the area some little stipend to give to them but they refused collecting.
This evening they sent a letter through someone that they have gone to summon me in a shrine and that I must pay them the sum of 1.5million. I looked at it with dismay and would like to take action asap.
What action do I take and how do I go about it? Thanks for your input. Oga, you are too weak. That's why they are taking you for granted. Show them you are in charge Get those boys arrested by the police or pay a Soldier to treat them violently. Also make them sign an undertaking that if anything happens to you, they will be held responsible. Trust me those guys will run away from you. Truth is, they are only trying to intimidate you because they think you are weak. Show them you are strong. Stop acting like a woman. |

To the people who sent me a mail; I can't access my email used to register on nairaland.
For transcribing, it won't be easy at first, but I can assure you that it gets better with time. It all depends on your dedication and ability to persevere. Trust me, you will feel like giving up at a point. Imagine spending 12hours on a 30mins job as a beginner. That's just a glimpse of it.
Yes, you can use your phone. You also need a Grammarly premium account and a software to make it easy for you.
As a beginner, you can use Qa-world to start and upgrade your skills before moving to other sites which are more difficult than Qa-world. Other sites to try when you are already a pro in Qa-world;
1.) Rev 2.) TranscribeMe 3.) PHED 4.) Scribe 5.) GoTranscript 6.) Casting words 7.) Verbit 8.) Crowd surf 9.) Tiger fish. You will need a verified PayPal account.

munstaqq: I'm sure my story is quite similar to many people out there, so your advice will mean a lot.
My background is Accounting, and I started learning Data/Business Analytics sometime this year and I'm quite good at Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, PowerPoint, and even started learning Python recently.
But there is a problem, I don't have a traditional experience. On several occasions, employers had reached out to me on LinkedIn for job opportunities but ghosted me when I told them I don't have experience.
Also, I have received tens of automated rejection emails. I believe I'm good and just need a chance to prove my worth. But hmm.
So the question is, how did you land your first tech job without experience? And what advice would you give, given your knowledge of the industry?
Thank you.
Lalasticlala I am a freelancer, though I am unsure if you will find my advice useful, but I will still say it. From my personal experience, I got myself a Mentor in my niche. I worked under him for free for a month and added some of his works to my portfolio as part of my experience when Clients reached out to me and asked if I had any experience. |

Barrister026: My wife attitudes towards food she cooked with my money is getting on my nerves.
How can my wife be dishing food to me like she's serving it for our kids.times without number have complained but still no changes.
It's either she makes eba that won't satisfy us ( when they is enough garri available) her defense is that she don't want it to be wasted.
OR
She dished out soup for me with lesser meat like am a kid. Have told her several times when cooking..to buy enough protein in the soup or stew. But to my surprise she always economise the money and divert it into something else.
I even had to start buying suya in the evening when coming back from work, because I know what I be expecting when my food is dished out. ( Recent news we saw of how suya killed some families, made me limiit it)
Have ordered her on several occasions to take it back and put more protein, but must i always do that?
Please This is really getting out of hand, I really don't know how to handle this situation. Oga, this issue is very simple, whenever she dishes your food and you are not satisfied with it, kindly go to the kitchen and serve yourself. She can't stop you. It's your money. She is only trying to economize because of the situation of the country so don't blame her. Start dishing your food and she will get the message. |

Chukwute: Police arrest alleged rapist that dozed off after forcefully having carnal knowledge of a lady in Sapele
A 34-year-old alleged rapist that dozed off after forcefully having carnal knowledge of a 25-year-old lady in Sapele is currently under the custody of the Delta Police Command.
Focus Naija can report that the suspect simply identified as Ayuba Adavo on November 8 at about 8pm, accosted the victim along Amagiya road, Sapele and forcefully dragged her to his room.
It was gathered that he showed her a locally fabricated gun then threatened to shoot the victim if she doesn’t allow him to have his way.
According to the Delta State police spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, “the suspect thereafter slept off because he was heavily drunk.
“The victim on noticing that the suspect was fast asleep sneaked out and ran to Sapele division where she reported the case.
“Consequently, patrol team/detectives were drafted to the scene. The suspect was promptly arrested, one locally cut to size gun with one live cartridge was recovered from him. Investigation is ongoing.”

1)You're blaming an adult woman's key word adult woman's fashion choice as the cause of rape and pedophilia. 2) You're the type of woman that would blame a lady for her rape because you feel a man shouldn't have self control. 3)You're talking about morals as if women are the only ones that make up society, in countries and states where women cover up fully they're still being raped.

So, you want here to discuss the wardrobe of adult women, primarily between the ages of 18 and 28, so you can protect the underage, how? I am not talking about Adults here. |
Family › Re: It's Despicable What A Lot Of Younger Women Wear Nowaday's. by dobnina(f): 4:49pm On Nov 08, 2021 |
zanshi: I find it to be utterly despicable what a lot of younger women wear out today all in the name of fashion, i am talking about women particularly within the age of 18-28. I very much understand that a lot of women love fashion and like to dress to impress to every occassion, but there is a thin line between being excessive and being modest. I reside here in Lagos, and i see young girls the age of 15 wear skimpy body tight clothes and you being to ask yourself what has society come to.
You see in society, regardless of how crazy, rich, influential a man is there are certain people who will call out his behavior if he decides to step out of line, but watch in the case of a woman, even women are afraid to call out their fellow women who go out of line and would often look the other way, but you know what society as we have today didn't just morph into this liberalized do as you like mentality, society was bond by rules and moral consciousness whenever we err.
Just when you think societal norms is crumbling right at our feet, there is hope afterall. A lot of high end restaurants in Lagos wouldn't let you enter if you wear too revealing clothes or outfits that doesn't differentiate you between an escort or just a city girl. Whilst, it would be unfair of me to completely blame the women, it is imperative the designers of these outfits know that this is not casual dressing that is appropriate for your average teenage girl. Back when we i was growing up in Lagos in the early 2000's a lot of people frowned upon women who wore mini skirts, but the average girl wears it nowadays and because if she doesn't people would look at her as if she is not in vogue.
Would be great to hear the suggestion of other folks chime in on this topic. It's painful that the society have lost its morals. The people who suffer the consequences of these are the innocent ones. The underage children that are sexually abused. Men are moved by what they see. They get easily aroused by the sight of a half naked woman. Since they can't have anything with the lady who seduced them, they will rather have sex with one innocent young girl thereby destroying the life of the innocent child. The government should put laws in place for indecent dressings and also castrate Rapist. |
