jmanity: Good day all. Just discovered this thread. I want to know if it's possible to this just to speed up moving to Australia: apply for a six months diploma programme in Australia, work while studying and then apply for the post study visa towards the end of the programme. I already have a B.sc and more than 3 yrs work experience. First off: Impossibility is nothing; anything is possible. (You can get it) Secondly, What you had is greater than what you are chasing. It is a false flag. Meanwhile, you have to study for atleast 2years in Aussie to be eligible for post study Visa. NB: If you have strong ties to 9ja, and one or two doubts clearer of DIBP, they can give you even 2 months study visa. But do you? You can also check the student section for an updated information and advice. |

hartson: Hi,His/Her question was if it will be possible to use WES ie Canada Evaluation report in place of transcript and send to ACS since he/she could not get a transcript from sch. I will suggest that whatever you wants to evaluate, since it will be similar to what S/HE sent to WES, you may have to attach the WES report for them not to see your writings as plagiarism. Since they shares systems ( God knows how). My takeMeanwhile, you should try and send the transcript to ACS since WES report is not a criterion, but transcript is. |

Alphadoor: Yes the new point system cuts accross all the visa class. 10pts Marital status points also cuts accross. However ITA points will go up even they still peg base point at 65 (although this is likely to go to 65/70/75 ....491/190/189 My concern is no longer the points because without an assessment, i can fetch 65; but the 3 & 5 years experience being pegged on all of these Occupations. May we all be delivered. |

gracelarry: Good day dear friends,
Please I am new here and need your assistance in order to start my application.
1) Which body assesses my degree and work experience.I have 7 years work experience in finance and My first and second degree both in Finance
2) I have IELTS result 8L 8.5 R 8 W and 8S
Considering my few details kindly assist advise if I have a chance. I believe that there's finance in the skill select and it is in Short Term Occupation List (STOL)/(ROL), and only available for 190 sponsored or so. You should go through Anzsco search to study about it more. If it will be tough, you might aswell look into Canny route. You have a chance |

Use bow & arrow effect. For you to go forward, you have to move back first to take off. My own idea was birthed since 2015; got rejected for study and have now graduated in Naija. If they don't want me as an Immigrant, they will have to accept me as one of them. Use study route. They said a couple of years of experience in some occupation can get you positive outcome, but I for 0ne believes that you have to tender something. At all-at all. |

Also consider the fact that the goal post will also shift by 16/11
The base point will either shift from from 65 or fragmented per visa class which will trigger very high point requirement for ITA as a lot of 189/190 hopefuls will join the 491 queue with the hopes of at all at all na hin bad. or The whole incentive is to drive people to 491 as 189/190 will become harder than it is currently Absolutely! I was even thinking that they wants to keep 189/190 at 65 point, but does not know how to shift 491's point back to 60 point(which is what it used to be.) All these same, they are testing the waters and their next move will be to restrict people to the particular region that sponsored them, and remove some regions all together. After they might have seen the velocity of the crowds applying. My assumptions tho! |

Alphadoor: 100%, transcript is a collection of exam results taken by the student and that is why you can request for it anytime during the school year. even if its just a semester, you can request for transcript.
certificate is an award for completion of degree I salutes you The Alpha! |

Mcslize: Before now, people claim partner points for all the visa types 189, 190 and 489. So, why will claiming point for being single only be for visa 491? It is a across board. It can't be for only 491 alone. If you can claim partner point for 491, a single person now has that same opportunity they are about to give single individuals so they won't be left off. And it is across board.
Moreso, my occupation is not available for 489 that is about to be substituted with the 491. Mine is skill level 1. It's only available for 189 and 190. It is even only NSW that's nominating it for now.
I once doubted until I went straight to the immigration website to read it up. They just can't put up something like that if they won't implement it. Will they really do that? That's my thought. So you see, that 10 points is not borrowed. It is what immigration put on their website. That's the right source you can confirm it from. I will be happy if it works out that way. And i believe that the reason for the delays since July 1st is because they are waiting for November 16. And that their aim is to push people to the village; that is where the doubts lies. Because if people are giving more options/ ways of raising points, they'll tend to go towards that way. But if you make the point earning to be equal, they might still want to stick with their 189. I will go with you until 491 is added to the general calculator. For the 2 calculators i was able to see; 0ne (1) is for the 189/190/489, while the other is a separate one for 491. Udo! |

Mcslize: You can claim same 10 points if your partner occupation is on the same list and is assessed with competent English. But if no assessment but your partner possesses competent English alone, you can claim 5 points for that.
So, it is still the same 10 points as single individuals. This, I always believe applies to 491 only until proven otherwise. For 189 & 190, I am not that too sure about this single 10points that y'all have been borrowing. |

Mcslize: Congratulations!
You got it with 65 points. Yes, my observation so far is that if an applicant is able to secure superior English scores, he or she will surely get ITA judging by New South Wales State and Victoria state. One just need to be patient.
Congrats once again. Go and conquer the land of milk and honey. Grace differs. If it was written-it was written. It only takes you to get them their criterion point; then, banza for accumulative points. |

Mcslize: Now,. Can you see the boost?
How do I arrive at that?
Age : 25 points
State nomination :5 points
English test : 20 points ( always aim at superior scores)
Educational qualification: 15 points ( bachelor degree)
Marital status (Single) : 10 points
Total score : 75
This is rightly done so singles will be on the same level with those with partners.
Do you want to know what your points will be come Nover 2019? Are you certain about the bolded? I guess you are applying for 190? And i am not 100% sure that 190 is recognizing the singles. Though I will re-check, But i know that 491 is. And they are giving 15points not 5points. |

aaffluent: HND minimum for technicians or Draftperson. Because your ND transcript would not be enough for skill level 2. Do this, email EA your transcript and cert and also state your experience. They will evaluate it before telling you to put it in. Requirements are Advanced Diploma & Diploma respectively. Transcript will read 2 years because it will be EEET 2** as course code, showing that it was for 2years.Until what you said is proven by Emailing them, one should not just assume. For i have read about those that applied for technologist on this thread with HND.(of which it is the requirement) |
