If Igbos divide their votes and vote differently, you will say they are not united. If they unite and vote a single party you will say they are putting all eggs in one basket . What exactly will the Igbos do to satisfy the naysayers ? Uwa ekwe nmeta ! Sometimes who no like you no like you even if you leak his ass daily. The only point I agree with is that we should hold our elected officials more accountable to use the little, made available in the current circumstance of hate filled nation to better the lives of the populace. |
They love buying us boxers, buy her G-strings. |
This model is the surest way to develop infrastructure in developing countries....I will rather pay extra 200 naira and drive on a clean road without potholes than waste hours and risk my life on bad roads. The Federal government should as a matter of urgency declare emergency on infrastructure and use this model; if we keep waiting for Federal cash alone ....our roads will remain a death trap. Even if the monies are not stolen but used as budgeted , the speed of development will still be slow because Nigeria does not have enough cash... By the time you now consider the amount to be stolen, you will agree with me that in the next 100yrs we are where we are. |
This is what you get when your president is totally clueless and unable to reason independently...the new President Mr Gambari wants to let everyone know he's in charge . |
I'm from the State, I have no reason to hate him, one thing he has achieved is a sharing formular that kept even the little opposition satisfied, hence, no one is making noise. He is lagging in actual development ..you can disapprove me with facts if you have them...Enugu rural roads are largely impassable during rainy season ....just forget what you see in Enugu town for a minute. I was amazed the day I went to inner villages of Anambra..almost all roads are tarred chi4ik: |
Seems this my incompetent governor is a shareholder on Nairaland...any thing with Ugwuanyi hits front page with a speed of light. Or is NL part of the places he's wasting our money instead of building rural roads that are impassable during rainy season? |
My friend traveled from Abuja to Enugu...he's there right now....police should be scrapped..those guys can allow and aid a terrorist just for 1000 Naira |
See eh, you can hate Zik if you want but never because he is a tribalist.....even his staunch opponents acknowledged that Zik's passion for one Nigeria was his greatest weakness. He refused to play regional politics like Awolowo and Sardauna. The MAJOR reason he chose a ceremonial position instead of becoming PM in a coalition with Awo was because he feared that Nigeria may disentangle because the North may see it as internal colonization because the Southern was far more educated. Whether that nationalistic nature of Zik was good or bad for a clanish country as Nigeria is a different story. quote author=SamNaijaboy post=89809901]Nonsense. NCNC had loyalty from Yorubas because it was always a Yoruba party before it spread to the East. It was formed and led by a Yoruba, Herbert Macaulay, who upon his death handed it over to Azikiwe. The Yorubas following Zik did that as a part of their loyalty to NCNC. Zik is the most tribalitic leader of them all: he should have partnered with AG to be the PM, rather he preferred to be a ceremonial President/Governor General to the North. He also wanted to be Premier in the West after installing another Igbo as Premier in the East instead of ensuring he went to the East as Premier and working to install a Yoruba in the West using the same party that he inhreited from them. Same way Igbos come to Lagos to prosper yet can't stop themselves from hating the indigenes that helped them prosper in their midst, always thinking they are smarter than the people who created the environment that makes them excel. Zik should have realized he was a nobody without Herbert Macaulay and the NCNC he gave him to lead without any nepotism and not attempt to rule those who graciously let him lead the party
|
If you know the sacked TCN boss, you will know he is not a system man, he has a special passion for the industry and has clashed with many people because of insistence in doing things differently, he raised over a billion dollars independently, which TCN is using for upgrade of dilapidated assets...he has been in the forefront of proposing capitalization of Discos to raise fund and upgrade their infrastructure instead of the current practice where government from time to time will dole out 700bln as bail out. The minister was influenced by MURIC to sack the NBET MD, notwithstanding that all allegations against her were cleared by NERC and the committee of National Assembly, the Minister still went ahead just because MURIC don't like her, they said she is against Muslims and must go..Boss saw the justice and got her reinstated. Nigeria is such a difficult place, if you want to effect serious change you will be called highhanded and all...and eventually removed by politicians . I attend Nextier Power Dialogue in Abuja regularly and with the little I have seen, Mr Gur is the wrong person to sack if your interest is to develop the power sector... You need people that think outside the box like him and probably Mr Mustapha knows that. Boss M. may be acting based on self interest, I don't know but Mr president has no clue ..he approves whatever is placed before him by anyone that got access to him first ...that was the situation with NBET. and because Mr Boss is busy with Covid , Mr of power probably sneaked in and obtained that approval to sack the MD of TCN. |
Not a good deal, church spaces and number of members vary, they should have said 10%, 20% etc of members ...my church for instance seats about 1000 persons ...services could be spread to 10 or 5 hence number of members will reduce. How can you tell Dunamis with 100k capacity to seat only 50? There some churches and mosques where 50 is a big crowd because of limited space. |

She is only looking for trends and giving her that level of attention is height of foolishness. CHURCH One of the biggest pastors in Abuja almost died of corona virus...he's taking locuzade boost at the moment. Also the biggest immam in Sokoto just tested positive ...he's isolating at home. Kemi's kinda headline |
Collect his number ...call him and tell him what you want...remember what a man can do principle ? |
In a sane country or state, this house would have been maintained by government and turned into a historic tourist site. I have seen buildings built in the 12 the century still looking good and habitable because of care and value placed on it. I feel sad for our total lack of respect to history in this country . |
I hope they hang her too ...she should be hung alive so that she will battle with life before finally dying. Wicked woman. |
Examples please ? Forget the TV dramas and give me real documented evidence .....they may be one or 2, not saying science has found answers to all human mysteries but most of our pastors are manipulative fraud. honeyB2018: |
Bigoted imams are grouped together in the same isolation center as those pastors .... Daddysidhan: |
Spotted ....one of those caged by the corn artists and manipulative pastorprepreneurs. Jashub:I |
This is the difference between knowledge based economy run in the West and Religion based economy run in Africa. The funny thing is that even the miracle working pastors are also isolating and hoping for vaccine to be discovered by prayerless Westerners. Wake up Africa wake up. |
Ekwueme ee ekwueme eee |
Things have fallen apart and the center cannot hold; mere anarchy is loosed upon the world. |
My only anger is that this virus does not start and end with foolish people like this. We should all be collectively concerned about what happened today in Abuja because we go to the same markets with them. Which moral authority will any government official or the president for that matter have, to tell the other foolish people crowding in the mosques not to do so?? The president has lost legitimacy to talk rubbish in the next broadcast after this. Follow my words but not my action is killing this government |
Gradually the real situation will start unfolding as they increase testing capacity |
They refused to include Nigeria because Buhari and his crew will share it to the "poorest of the poor" living in their bank account. |
This is not just about hunger, this is about evil people trying to take advantage of difficult situations ...can't they all match to government house and attack them...why attack people struggling like you...idiots. effissyman: |
Where is this my friend @JamParkMe that was arguing with me on why Israel should or should not evacuate her citizens . |
Just so you know, you had this exchange with a Dr, so save this exchange and let's come back to it in 3 weeks ....I'm seriously praying that what I'm seeing will not happen because if it does ...God have mercy. Cheers bro JamParkMe: |
The capacity of NCDC is no wear close to what we need in a population of 200m. Germany does over 500k test a week . NCDC does roughly 700 a week and they need to do VIP first ...so just pray you don't get the virus. Simple. |
I'm sorry but your comparism is somewhat funny, USA has over 100k cases and may be only 60k ventilators and protective gears available . Now if.Nigeria has 100k outbreak how many protective gears and ventilators do you have? The whole country does not have more than 100 pieces functional vents. Thats the angle you should look at it from..I never argued with u that they are not having challenges. Like I.said ...the better chance u have is let it not get bad here .period. If it does, the only chance you have is God. JamParkMe: |
Trust me, Nigeria has over 50k cases but we are not testing...Germany does 500k test a week...how.many has NCDC done ?? It is wrong to base the level of outbreak on NCDC numbers |
Forget that weather theory and pray our situation never gets to US, Italy or Spain level, if these countries are struggling and facing challenges just know that Nigeria will face 1000% worse if our situation gets worst. Secondly, these countries do thousands of test daily, try to contact NCDC if you are not a returnee from Europe and see the response. So forget the reported numbers. It is better to fall sick in Israel than here....I know what I am saying I have seen and experienced medical response of Nigeria and Europe. (I know Israel is not Europe but their response to medicare is far far better than Nigeria). JamParkMe: |
No. Israel can treat and take care of their people no matter the size of the pandemic. .once the situation explodes here . patients are at the mercy of God. JamParkMe: |
