FarmPlanetNG:Which business brings in more than double of one's capital within a few months? If your watermelon business was bringing such returns, you wouldn't be looking for investors |
If you want to fight against prostitution (as if it's any of your business), why must you do it with barefaced lies? You hypocritical morality police will leave bigger crimes committed by men and start screaming at what women are doing which isn't really affecting anybody but themselves. Now you have to resort to lies? How low can you people go? This was a yahoo yahoo deal gone bad and the girl was a neighbour to the victims and she just happened to be at the at the wrong place at the wrong time. If it was one of their sisters that was in the car with them at the time the killers came for their head, she would have been killed alongside them. What will you be preaching in that case, say no to having brothers? Wait sef, when are you going to preach against fraud and murder which are the bigger crimes committed in this story? Leave prostitution matter alone and go and preach to your fellow men to stop killing themselves over yahoo yahoo deals |
Conner44:Indirectly slut shaming the dead like we won't notice. Did it ever occur to you that she got the low figures because didn't sleep with different people? |
The bank has a big hand in her death. The government need to wake up and set up an institution that caters to staff welfare. NLC only fights for government workers' minimum wage and their own pockets. We need a regulatory body where staff can report workplaces with bad working conditions. These banks give their marketers ridiculous targets yet no one is talking about it. Now someone has taken her life due to the pressure, things must not continue like this. |
My dear none, absolutely NONE! Anybody that introduces you to a business with such returns within that time wants to scam you. Beware of online vultures! |
Since both husband and wife have their means of livelihood centred around CMS area, they should consider getting an apartment around Obalende, Yaba/Oyingbo or even Iyana Oworo axis. They can rent out their house in Ikorodu or keep it locked and be visiting from time to time. This is the worst of times to be unemployed in this country. |
Yes I do sometimes especially when I know there are some of my people with pressing financial needs. |
I hate hearing anything about this word "palliative" |
There's more to all these injuries suddenly being sustained by top players, they don't think the tournament is worth risking career changing injuries. At this point, I wish the whole team can just pull out of the competition. |
You should have just given the message a 👍 and face your front. |
Na everyday debunking and denials we set see now. The news agencies should be verifying news before putting it out there. |
VIKTO83:It's only a native fowl doctor that will ask for a woman to seek her husband's permission before working on her. His business is to get paid for his services not asking if an adult has gone to seek permission like she's some kind of primary school child. You these Nigerian men never cease to amaze me. So women need permission to get work done or get birth control on her own body o! And when we say your version of submission is nothing but slavery you start saying we're overreacting. |
simpleseyi:It's 2024, these lame, old, wack lines to shame or emotionally blackmail divorced women has gone stale. So an ADULT woman with a successful business needs to seek permission from a bozoo of an ex husband who brought nothing but shame and humiliation to her? So a woman should remain married to a disgusting excuse of a man so she won't be passed around by several men? And who told you single/divorced women get passed around? Is that how the unmarried women in your family gets passed around? |
Xwizard:Creating a new thread will get a wider reach once it hits. I'll definitely be looking into this sack farming. I have some portion of land not far from me which is gathering dust (literally). I've always been interested in planting there but going there to tend to the crops isn't so convenient considering my jam-packed schedule. I'll definitely be looking into this sack farming. Sack is not an issue, the dog's food we buy comes in baggo sacks and I still have tens of them even after giving some out. They will be put to good use this year by God's grace |
Xwizard:This is very impressive. Kindly do a thread on this once they start yielding. Where did you get your soil, did you buy it? |
Kenyan universities wet standard pass Nigerian universities? Make Dem dey play! |
So Americans have exported their madness to the youkay, I knew it was only a matter of time. |
tunwumi:I don't want to imagine🤢 |
VIKTO83:Which doctor? Native doctor? ![]() So a woman must seek her husband's permission before spending her own money on her own body? Doctor too must ask the woman for husbands consent before working on her. O di egwu! You men better get over your high horses! This is 2024 not 1874 when women were mo or less slave that can't breathe without husband's consent. A useless man impregnated a married woman, kept disgracing himself with the woman thinking they're "peppering" the estranged wife, now he's expecting her to seek his consent. Total rubbish! He's in severe pain because the estranged wife is doing well without him. Nothing hurts egotistical men more than seeing the woman they expect to be crying and begging living her best life |
Nice one! I tried planting peppers by pouring out the water used in washing them but e no gree germinate ![]() Won't the peppers spoil in that type of tight packaging? |
pocohantas:Exactly and that's why black tanks have taken over, I don't see coloured tanks anymore in the places where tanks are being sold. I've been looking for a wwy to speak with you privately, do you receive Nairaland pm? |
b3llo:As long as sunlight can penetrate inside the tank, spyrogyra (a type of algae) will start to build up after some time. That's why black tanks are preferable to coloured tanks like the one in the op |
Second half of last year (2023). The tank didn't have build up of spyrogyra like the one in that photo but it had a lot of fine sand deposits at the bottom. |
Very commendable, some of her colleagues have been in the senate for decades with nothing to show for it. |
thesicilian:So he should have jumped out and confront possibly armed kidnappers? Did you not see the part where he said he raised alarm to some area boys and he was ignored? He has done more than enough by capturing the vehicle's licence plate number. A serious police team will use this information to fish out the owner of the vehicle |
A lot of men disrespect and mistreat their financially dependent wives because they know they can't survive without them but their fellow men will never see nothing wrong with it. A woman dare not cough that she bought salt for the family, this bunch of hypocrites and will start shouting that she's being proud and insulting her husband. One nincompoop in the first page said women of yesteryears stayed in their marriages because their husbands provided. Did it ever occur to you that most of them stayed because they will starve to death if they moved an inch from the marriage? The longevity of the marriage is what they emphasize on, they will never look at the quality of the marriage. Were those marriages mutually beneficial? Let's be honest with ourselves for once |
Not even up to a year since the last increment, as if that's how wages are increased |
Back in the days of little options, you just had to watch whatever they showed. We had 3 NTA channels then, channel 5 was the coolest channel. Channel 10 was bleh with awful picture quality and channel 7 was horror to us kids with their back to back yoruba programmes only adults can understand and enjoy. My favourite shows apart from the cartoons were Doctor who, some mothers do have 'em (Mr Spencer) and Rent'a'ghost. Our weeknights looked something like this Newsweek on Monday night😩 New masquerade on Tuesday night💃💃 One business talk show On Wednesday night😩 (I've forgotten the exact title Jare) Checkmate on Thursday night💃💃💃 Ripples on Friday night😐 (a very young Genevieve featured on this show) Sports spectacular on Saturday night😩 Fortunes on Sunday night 💃💃💃(Regina Askia, Ramsey Noah, Pat Attah, Segun Arinze etc made their names through this show) Big kudos to Ben Bruce for revamping NTA when he got appointed as DG. |
GloriousGbola:Exactly! |
These POS people are the ones responsible for the naira scarcity we're currently experiencing. They're the ones mopping up and hoarding all the cash used by traders and customers hence making it scarce so that they can resell at high profits. I hope the government regulate their activities ASAP. |
