Other countries have tested and treated thousands of people without disclosing how much they're spending, you that gave not done a quarter of what they've done have already started wailing about how much it cost you. It's only a matter of time before they start charging people upwards of 10k to run the test. Mad government that cannot do anything for the citizens but will conveniently tax them at any chance they get

Yes. Not everyone uses prepaid meter in Nigeria. You're not certain if that is what the compound uses so why lay much emphasis on that.
And, in some places , house Rents are separated from other bills like Nepa and water. In this situation now, it seems that she the lady in question has not paid what she must have agreed with the owner. I don't think the landlord will be tasking her bills that was never agreed upon. What I understand is that you were just commenting on generic term, u weren't addressing this issue.

If you understand how the story was composed, you'd know the house is running on prepaid meters. Each apartment is responsible for it's own power consumption. In a situation where there's a general appliance like pumping machine which the entire house benefits from, they should have either 1. Connect it to it's own separate meter and or 2. Connect it to landlord's meter and agree on contributing money to buy units or 3.in case the landlord is not living in the building, they shouldn't connect it to one of the tenant's meter and contribute towards buying units. The landlord connecting the pumping machine to a tenant's meter expecting her to pay for water the entire building is using is totally wrong and the woman had every right to contest it. When she refused buying prepaid units, her power got cut off but the other apartments had light, how did that inconvenience anybody? It was the landlord disconnecting her water (which was also wrong) that caused the commotion leading to the attack.

If the story happened exactly as narrated, the landlord and his wife were wrong in all fronts and deserve to pay dearly for what they did to that lady

His explanation is not making sense in any way. What could they have injected him with that knocked him out for 3 whole days? Does that person look like someone who just regained consciousness after 3 days? He killed his wife, didn't know how to dispose the corpse and kept it till he figured out how to dispose it

You're just importing cases in. It wasn't stated anywhere that it was a prepaid meter they are using; so, all these assumptions are not needed to objectively analyse the situation. The lady in question has not paid her water and Nepa bill - that had made her to be owing as it is, even if she has paid her rent to the space she's occupying in the landlord's house. Her act of not paying has inconvenienced all the occupants of that building - is that a fair act?

Seems you missed the part I wrote if, so no assumptions were made. If you understand the story, the landlord connected the pumping machine to the Tennant's apartment so she will be the one billed for the water the whole house is using. When she refused to pay for the power bills, her power was cut off and the building was without water, the landlord now connected the pumping machine to his own apartment and cut her water off leading to the shuffle between tenant and landlord. If this tenant was owing rent, she would not have confronted the landlord like that. Would you agree to be the only one paying the bills for pumping machine because you don't want to inconvenience the other occupants of the building? Why would a landlord connect the pumping machine cables to the meter of a tenant if not wickedness and greed?

Read the story well. There was nowhere it was stated that the tenant was owing rent, she only refused to pay the power bills because the evil landlord connected the pumping machine to her apartment. Who will accept such? If it's a prepaid meter the apartment is using, it will be very unfair if one tenant have to pay for the water the entire house is using. Pumping machine consumes a lot of power units, she may have to pay double of the power she's consuming because the landlord wanted to play a fast one on her. Attacking her like that further goes to show the kind of deranged human beings the landlord and his wife are. I hope they don't escape this, they must be charged to court and get sentenced to jail

Marriage is not a competition, it involves partnership, mutual respect, making sacrifices for each other. If one party does not care about the other's feeling especially as a whole human being is involved, to hell with him.

The Op married him because he promised to love her and treat her kids as his. The moment he reneged on the promise, she has every right to unlove him and take a walk from him. Not all marriages are worth saving.

He has ever rights to the child he took, but you and I know that very few men can solely take care of a toddler. I read an article on boredpanda.com on how the US were ignoring the ordinary citizens and giving celebs priorities. This was like 3 weeks ago when Trump was treating the outbreak like a bad dream he can just wish away. Their country refused testing kits distributed by WHO, with no substitute in place. Though testing kits and other items are available now, it's too little too late, over 130 people have been infected. Although I'll commend them for their relatively low mortality rates.

Cardi B also voiced out that it's only celebs and rich people that were getting tested. In the UK a Jamaican lady from Peckham was denied testing because she was not a "priority case" even though she was already exhibiting some of the symptoms, she eventually died at home. Same thing they're doing here, only dignitaries and highly placed people are getting access to testing. God forbid the virus explodes the way it did in US and some parts of Europe before a cure is found, we will be worse hit than those places

If you can afford it why not? You should know that raising children is not cheap anywhere in the world that's why it is advisable to have the number of kids you can afford. God forbid your finances dip, you will cope better with two kids instead of four. Besides, it's your fiance that will be doing most of the work when it comes to raising the kids, four kids might be overwhelming for her especially if she's working. You should listen to your fiance and consider her decision
