Good info but just be careful guys , especially for the novices(not a condescending statement), so you wont make a change that will make you regret you were given godly power on windows ,seriously be careful what changes you make except you know what you are doing, because so many options and menu will be open for you to alter ,Nice one OP #DonaldHasSpoken

windows 7. i actually use a pc maker called "brian" not popular, but i checked google for solutions, i checked the device manager and couldnt find "imaging and devices. i tried skyping but i kept getting "webcam not connected"

I think it has not being installed or the driver is corrupt or missing ,
-In device manager ,at the top search for and click on scan for hardware changes
-When its done refreshing check to see if its there
-If its not there check to see if there is a device showing a caution sign
-If there is try and get a software like Driver Solution Pack
Or better still you can update the driver over the internet

I hope that helped ,if it doesnt you are free to ask questions and lay more complaints

Please how can I resolve this issue - when I try uploading a video into an animation software - reallusion as background image, my system reads "The file cannot be imported because the codec is not recognized in your system". The application supports such video format.

Please how do I go around this codec issue. Reallusion has a very poor customer support. not responding to my queries.

I await your usual immense contributions.

hmmm, let me seee....... ok !!!!, Try installing vlc if you dont already have it,it comes with so many codecs,i hope that helps if it doesnt , come back and we will sort it out *smiles*
