Why should I be afraid when I don't stay anywhere near the East? We just can't have your terrorists run amok and start killing our people when they clash with the police. So sit at home till you grow old or get the python treatment
We've now established that you have no cause for concern about the peacefulness of IPOB as regards the sit-at-home. Let's now address your health vis-a-vis the current wave of depression and the likelihood of you doing something silly.

IPOB is not the cause of your problems, you should learn to take life a little bit with ease. Though I care less about your (in)existence, your family loves you wink

This is not the first time of a general sit-at-home so you have nothing to fear... Unless, of course, you have sinister plans which will be disappointed as usual.

Since you happen to be a spokesperson for the police, pray tell, how many of those terrorising farmers have you gunned down.

Today is the birthday of the commenter above, yet he refused to digest the write up and make unbiased comment. Is this how you want to spend this year again?
They are just warming up to an excuse to paint IPOB in bad light. Is it not thesame way some Nigerian police officers staged a drama to blackmail IPOB as having damaged police vehicles, with one caught on camera, stepping into the gutter to pass off as being injured by an attack from IPOB.

They've tried everything their small, myopic minds could possibly create to discredit IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu but it turned out the more they try to pull down the messengers of Chukwu Okike Abiama, the more they are exalted far above their evil machinations.

If a sit-at-home day in honour of those who offered themselves as sacrifice for a worthy cause of freedom for their people and children [un]born is a slap to someone's face, such person needs a congregational rain of slaps because s/he is indeed a failure.

Maybe your BooRAT-EYE and his band of confused elements of an army can come and start picking people from their places of abode, tie their arms behind their back, in their usual manner, and beat them to death; then your ever ready gutter western media can give us breaking news that everyone in the southeast were marching to start a war with Nigeria but were repelled by the Nigerian Army who got intelligence report and acted swiftly. lipsrsealed

Politics / Re: We’re Yet To Take Stand On Restructuring –northern Governors by Donelli: 8:56am On May 18, 2019
Methinks it is clear to everyone (even though we try to pretend it is not) that time is ticking to the end of this business entity called Nigeria as it currently is...moreso, the northern oligarchy.

What they have been doing is to deploy massive resources and collecting huge loans to finance projects in the north in view of this fast approaching reality, some covert while some overt, so as to have a soft landing.

A time will come when the terrorists would have encroached deeper into the south that the bargaining tool for the north to agree to restructuring (preferably separation) is terrorising the south so that the only easy way out of the coming wave of bloodshed will be to accept offsetting a large chunk of the debts they would have accumulated from excessive loans.

A slave master will take ALL your possession and give you crumbs, giving the impression that he cares about your welfare; their major FEAR is for you to not know the truth. Their strength is in your ignorance so they will ensure you remain that way.

Any attempt to enlighten the masses slaves will be fought with every resource at their disposal.

Go back to previous lectures and broadcasts by Nnamdi Kanu and see if they are mere coincidence. I'm assuming you will be true to yourself.

Politics / Re: Nigeria'll Not Know Peace Until An Igbo Becomes President - Nwobodo by Donelli: 7:54am On May 13, 2019
Sanchez01:

The common enemy of every Nigerian are politicians. Whether or not a region is better off is not the concern here but that it must get to the Igbos. It is not a cake or some free meal. You want it? Then work for it. It won't hurt if you think this morning.
I hold strongly that a region or ethnicity producing the president does not guarantee better living standards. The politics people allude to that Igbos don't know how to play, go and check the definition of politics and you'll see why we're in deep poo as a country.

Politics [n.]: The science of government; that part of ethics which has to do with the regulation and government of a nation or state, the preservation of its safety, peace, and prosperity, the defense of its existence and rights against foreign control or conquest, the augmentation of its strength and resources, and the protection of its citizens in their rights, with the preservation and improvement of their morals.

Compare the above definition with what we call Nigerian politics then tell me why I shouldn't believe most Nigerians are f00ls.

The moment some persons realize that the Presidency or any other political position is not some monarchial title that moves from one geopolitical zone to another, the better it would be for them.

I don't understand how you expect power to be dropped on your laps when you fail to understand or play politics like most do. You threaten, issue ultimatum, curse, cuss, rant and talk like a baby on steroids just because you are blind and would rather come out to chest beat when you fail to make the cut.

I pray the absence of peace starts from his home.
You're talking utter balderdash. The ones who have been playing the politics the way it should be played, how better off are they, their region or even the country in general?

The fact that everyone is doing it doesn't make it the proper way; worst still, it has not brought progress to the country yet you lot keep using this stale line.

Is that not the definition of f00lishness? Using thesame method (with nothing tangible to show for it) repeatedly and expecting a different result.

Politics / Re: Biafra Technology Had Solution To Nigeria’s Problems –tsav by Donelli: 2:51pm On May 12, 2019
wirinet:

There are many ifs. Ifs don't translate to reality.

Military technological advances requires sound science and technical education and a military industrial complex. It requires advanced metallurgy and material science, it requires a machine tools industry and of course adequate power infrastructure.

Which of these things did/do the igbos possess?
Open your mind and read the post you quoted again. It has been established that some technologies were developed out of contingency which were quite impressive considering the circumstances and time frame of the war even though some might argue that they were crude.

The message the poster was stating was the improvements and strides NIGERIA would have made IF those crude technologies had been developed instead of destroying or abandoning them as we have seen in the last 50+ years.

I don't know if it's over-sense that blinded you or igbophobia.

I have generalized as far as the current political terrain is concerned. As per politics the North specifically the Hausa/Fulani would choose a Yoruba man 10 times over an Igbo man.

As per individuals, we all have both extremely good and extremely bad human beings. I wouldn't judge a whole tribe by that yardstick!

ChristianNorth:

Don't deceive yourself. An average hausa would rather deal with an Igbo in a matter of trust than a yoruba.
