My point is the manufacturers themselves have a rock bottom price they sell direct to Walmart, Amazon, Carquest etc. Even at those prices, there is not a lot of margin so how are people with middle men selling for $32 legitimately? Unless you are telling me the manufacturers are selling to our brothers here at less than the listed companies who but millions of dollars a year. Occasional clearance deal, yes. Fell off a truck, yes. Counterfeit, possibly.

But real product consistently at that price with middle men, c'est n'est pas possible without only breaking even or incurring a loss. And in the case of liqui-moly specifically, I call BS

This is one of the place I cool off, a friend asked why I’m addicted to this thread on Nairaland? I said it’s a reality thread, you can relate and feel what people are saying and the gbos gbas is on another level. Big brother house no sweet like this thread.

I’m using kanuisagoat method to buy hours as I can’t drive during the day but when I close I will do 7 short short trips before 11pm.

Advice as a mechanic, with both roadside and professional experience:

I do not advice toks shocks. Why?
* Because 80% are not toks, they are rebuilt here at Ladipo
* Even if they are direct toks, they'v most times used their service life.

My advice as a mechanic:
If you cant afford KYB shocks, Buy equivalent Chinese shocks, like JML or any other brand.

Advice as Parts Seller:
Buy anyone your budget can afford. KYB, Chinese, Toks. We will sell to you.

I will do a post on this thread on When to buy toks parts, and when not to.

P.S: I dont have a shop at Ladipo, i only source parts there!
