PoliticsRe: Famous Quotes Of Prof Chinua Achebe by donigspain(m):
Keneking: “When suffering knocks at your door and you say there is no seat for him, he tells you not to worry because he has brought his own stool.”
― Chinua Achebe

This shot is for believers. Gbam!!!
This has got nothing to do with believing/belief. Try to understand the quote first before discrediting it.
From the context, 'there is no seat' does not mean 'you are not welcome'. It means, 'you are welcome but just that I don't have (enough) seat'. The guest can choose to sit on the floor or stand but in this case, Suffering already made plans for its comfort. 'I have no seat' is not a strong/reasonable point enough to make Suffering turn back. So if you must refuse the presence of Suffering in your abode, then you must stand on a concrete 'No, I don't need you' position.
*Hope my attempt to clarify things won't be misunderstood as ITK or a direct attack of your person. Apologies if so.

NYSCRe: Snake Killed Under My Bed At Nysc Orientation Camp, Ikare-akoko, Ondo-state... by donigspain(m): 8:33pm On Mar 16, 2013
Over 3 snakes were killed in the female hostel (more like prison/cell) during NYSC 2012 Batch C orientation camp in Benue state. It's quite pathetic.
NYSCRe: A thread for corpers posted to Benue by donigspain(m): 7:44pm On Mar 01, 2013
Congrats for making it into the NYSC family. Am a serving Batch C corp member in Benue state and I assure you that Benue is a good state to serve. Here, you will enjoy relative peace, low cost of living (improved savings), a full stomach at all times (food basket of the nation) et al. My PPA is in Kwande LGA and life with the Tivs has been good. For those who would be thinking of influencing their PPA, please, don't go for Makurdi as the cost of living is relatively high, unfriendly climate (dominance of heat waves) and you might end up stranded in your search for PPA. If you must influence (I strongly advice you NOT to influence your PPA posting) go for Otukpor (town), Gboko (town), Katsina-ala (town) and Kwande (Adikpo town).

donigspain: Hi house, I studied Geography and Meteorology and presently serving in Benue state. Please, I just sat for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional course exam on the 17th of this month and I also hope to register for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) professional course by next month. I wish to know the relevance of these certificates (plus knowledge/skill) in the Nigerian labour market. Thanks.
Someone should help out here^^^

redcliff: well, somewhere in my subconscious when i was typing this i was thinking of the Enugu highway crash, i think that's what precipitated the "this country" phrase. On second thought forgive my non-registered brain for not noticing this did not happen in Nigeria. Are you happy now? do i need to still visit the occultist?
sadsadsad I think you still need to visit an OCULIST.

redcliff: NA wa . death just smells everywhere in this country
YOu have car, you die by accident.
you dont have car, on coming ones crush you
you are in your safe haven( your home) an airplane crashes into your building.
Lord come quickly and all these should just end..Its so tiring.
You really do need to visit an oculist asap!
Nowhere in the story did it say the sad event happened in this country (Nigeria).

FamilyRe: Being The Only Male Or Female Child: How Does It Feel Like? by donigspain(m): 11:11pm On Jan 04, 2013
The feeling of being an only male child is indescribable!
You can't understand it if you ain't one. It ranges from the killing load of responsibilities (Dos & Don'ts), the suffocating chains of expectations (you're automatically a bag of hope), the freezing condition of loneliness (physical & emotional), the state of hyper-sensitivity (being extra careful in one's dealings especially with non-'bloodly'-related females) to the compulsory religious path (if you've got religious parents).
Just consider yourself as always a child even when it's obvious you're a grown a$$ man.
Hmmm, e hard o!!!
