Some times I wonder wether people reason at all. Seriously, we have a majority of low IQ individuals in this country. Idiots everyone. How can someone be relating a people against the Army. The work of the security is to first identify a threat and then neutralize. You don't kill innocent people, because you think the support, or because some criminals live in their region. You intelligently identify the targets, although it's difficult, but that's your job, that's why the army shouldn't be deployed in a local conflict. But if you think it requires the military against the militants, then the safety of the civilians must be insured.

They alienate the citizens, erode their confidence in governance responsiveness, and thereby advance the very extremist nightmare that security agencies believe they are acting to thwart.

If we cannot learn from the histories and experiences of other societies, let us at least learn from ours. Freedom is not so glibly qualified.
