One dangerous thing about accusing God's people is that you may hear about the offence and start your accusations but you wouldn't be informed when he / she has been forgiven. The result is that your accusing finger turns and begins to point back at you but you don't know. Meaning that that anger of God for that offence turns against you but like I said, you are not informed and you continue to run your mouth until you are destroyed.

Your defense of the Gospel of Jesus has been most outstanding on nairaland, I must commend you.
Don't mind the critics, it is their job. . .
If CEC was a defeated and uninfluential church they would have felt good with themselves. But here we are, claiming more territory, defeating Satan and his opposition on every count . . . how will they be happy with you.

When you say, we are poor sinners saved by grace, trying to be holy, they say 'True!' and they're okay with ya.

But when you say, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, sin shall not have dominion over me, they say' NO! you thief!'

The reason is, they feel better when you say that you are in the same struggle and frustration with them. The moment you sanctify yourself through the Word, they become offended. The point at you and call you a liar.

They are not a new phenomenon, they have been since the days of Jesus. They will not disappear because they are necessary for our growth and development as well as our advancement.

Recently, i went to a catholic prayer mountain to pray and i was so glad to see Catholics, full of the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues and prophesying. My soul was lifted. If I find certain doctrinal inconsistencies, my soul only reaches out to them in Love and prayerful intercession. . . and i say more Lord. . . more of your Spirit of revelation upon this place. Not hatred or angry criticism born out of envy. Every true Christian will naturally have love for others who call on the name of the Lord Jesus. But mark those who walk differently, having a contrary spirit. We only pray that they be delivered from destruction.

So small, small, my broda. . . cos I know you cant go all the way with these folks. They have no Lord, they can say all they wanna . . . but you cant. Someone has the control over your lips.

There are about 5 to 6 different raptures in the bible at different times. All christians wont be raptured same time. There is 2 to 3 raptures of christian in the bible.

John the Baptist was said to have appeared in the Spirit and Power of Elijah. The true return of Elijah is in the future and will precede the return of our Lord. John the baptist himself said he was not Elijah in person(Jn 1:21). Jesus made this clear when he said, 'Elijah indeed cometh and shall restore all things.' It is evident that this part of prophecy is not ye realised. It will be accomplished before the great day of the Lord, according to Malachi 4:5,6.
We believe that Elijah will have a special ministry in the conversion of Israel at that time, which will mark the beginning of the 'restoration of all things'(Acts 3:19-21; Rom 11:12,15).
We also believe that Elijah and Enoch are the two witnesses of Rev 11:1-12, whose task will be to prophesy with power in Jerusalem (the Holy city, where their Lord had been crucified, cerses 2,, during the great tribulation. Reason being that these were the only men who although sinners, did not go through death. They will be kept for that special ministry until the end of time, at the end of which they will submit to death(verse 9).

If miracles dont happen in your church, you and your pastor should be questioned. That is abnormal in a CEC.
I cannot count the number of miracles that happen almost daily in the satelite church I attend in Asaba.

Just last Night of Bliss, someone with HIV got healed, with b4 and after medical reports to show. Devils are cast out. Promotions n businesses are prophesied and the happen within short time frames. My pastor prophesied to me personally about getting a promotion it happened shortly after. He prophesied generally about a brand new official car, i got one in 2 wks. We have several living testimonies of growths, ulcers, fibroids dissappearing in an instant in our church.

A young lady who was adopted by an elderly lady of up to 60yrs heard my pastor prophesy about the baren giving birth. As soon as she got home, she layed hands on her foster mother and spoke the words of prophecy given by our pastor (Pasor Tony Obodoagwu). The woman got pregnant and gave birth. The dedication was about 3 wks ago.

In Calabar, the paralysed n bedridden get up and walk before the eyes of all.
In the campuses its the same thing. . . The blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear because Jesus Christ is the same yestrday, today and 4ever. Are you sure you are in a Christ Embassy church?

I think instrumentalists who are christians should be free to define what it is they really want.

This skill that you have. . . is it it for hire or simply to glorify God? Be clear about what you want and go for it.

It is the same with gospel artists these days. They ask for money first!

I remember some foreign artisits were invited for a Christ Embassy crusade years ago and they requested for money first. pastor Chris was dissappointed and asked that they forget about it. Then he said to the  Choir in Christ Embassy. . . 'write your own songs'. For years now, Christ Embassy has produced some of the best artists in the country ; Buchi, Sinach, Frank Edwards, E-Ben, Samsong, and many more. This is the belssing of God, not of man. When God lifts a man, it is clear.
I remember him say during the crusade that if those foreign artists had come, he would have given them far more than they requested for.

You can never out-give God, he is a just God and always rewards faithfulness.

I remember a drummer in Ikeja church years  ago who mentioned to pastor Chris that it was his birthday. He got a  car on the spot!  Now how many years of dragging with choir master after service for N2,000 can buy him that car?

I know of some who have been given scholarships by the church or the pastor. Please be wise, God is not unfaithful. And if you are a christian, remember to take the Word and faith along with you. These will surely prevail.
