How sad. I do not admire you at all. I am at rest. I have my questions answered. My hope aint in this world only but also in the one to come.

But the wisdom of this world is turned into foolishness by the one who controls eveything.

The natural has never and can never superceed the spiritual. The spiritual controls the natural.

Everything that was created is temporay, they all have death in them, they are subject to change. The only everlasting being is God Himself.

When all fails and comes to and end, His word remains forever.

The politics, education, technology, and all the wisdom of this world are programmed to fail and are already failing if you can percieve.

One may succeed in proving God logically, but logic cannot take you all the way. You will have to listen to what he says about Himself and believe it.

I actually gave you the Word- definition of 'fool'. If you want further explation, clarification, or references, simply say so.

You had better look for another exclamation to use before you get into trouble for calling God's name in vain. He is no respecter of persons.

How can you call for an explanation of God saying you want logical answers and not quotes from scripture?

Do you think you know more logic than God who gave you the brains that you have?

Anyway, it takes God to reveal himself to you. If He hasnt yet done that its a pity 'cos no amount of logical reasoning will.

To be carnally minded (sense ruled) is death (spiritual blindness and seperation from God). You cannot percieve the living God with your senses.

It is the fool who says there is no God. God's definition of the fool is 'one who despises Godly councel'.

I remember the testimony of Jessy Duplanatis. He said he was on board a plane some time  ago and happened to be sitting next to an etheist. He tried sharing the gospel with him and he just wouldnt accept  saying,"i dont believe in God"

Anyway, not too long after, the wings of the aircraft caught fire and there was consternation in the plane. Suddenly the etheist guy began to shout "oh God!". Jessy turned to Him and said, "shhh, dont call him, he dosnt exist; just relax and enjoy your death."

That is your problem, God is still God...whether u believe in Him or not.

He didn't cry out for help but he cried out, asking a question, "My God, My God, why has thou forsaken me".

He loved the father and the presence of the Holy Spirit so much that when our sins were laid on Him and He became our sin sacrifice on that cross, He cried out because the father (who according to scripture, would not behold iniquity) had turned His back on Him and the Holy spirit had departed from Him.

God did not just ignore Him; It pleased God (even though it pained his heart) to bruise Him because of what that sacrifice will do for all of humanity. It was God Himself who gave Jusus to die for us. That was why Jesus came!

He did not die as a matyre ... He was a sacrifice. He laid down his own life. It was all God's plan ok?

Isaiah 53:10

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Because of His sacrifice, his days are prolonged on earth through his seed who have believd on His name! He is still reigning on earth over the kingdom of darkness through his kids!

Are you forgetting that the polititians are not from space...but that they are Nigerians who came from among us?

The problem is with the soul of our nation, and only God's Word can heal the soul of our Nation and inspire Nigerians with the wisdom, courage, faith and determination to face the future with the hope of correcting the system and putting the country on the path of prosperity.

Well, I wonder what would have happened if those who brought the message to us through lands and seas waited like you said for God to bring his word to pass without acting. we would have still been in the dark.

If they did not lay down their lives and resources to see that the gosepl got to us, i wonder where you will get the bible you are talking about to preach from.

You must understand that God has given us the responsibility of the salvation of mankind.

The whole message of the gospel, and not some part of it. The totality of what Christ's death burial and ressurection has brought us who believe in him. The message of Eternal life which was in the father which was manifested to us in christ.

Eternal life has not only given us righteeousness and holiness but it has given us all that we could not get when we were in bondage to sin. Divine health, prosperity, victory and success are alll in the package.

Life and immortality have been brought to light through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We who have recieved christ have already been delivered...we don't need any further deliverance from satan... he has been defeated! I know deliverance ministers would not like to accept this but it is true.

Colossians 1:12-13:
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

The christatin is in the kingdom of God and needs no deliverance from satan. The deliverance he needs is the deliverance into his inheritance and that is through knowledge.

Proverbs 11:9 (Whole Chapter)
An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered

The christian is born into the holiness of God. He has been given the nature of God which is righteousness. He needs to be made to see who God has made him to be rather than to be told how a useless and hopeless sinner he is, headed for hell.

When he knows who he is, he will live and act that way. If he dosnt know that he has recieved righteousness as a free gift from God, he will never be able to live right without condemnation because he will be struggling to get what he has already been given.


2 Corinthians 5:21:
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Phil 3:10
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

The moment one is born again, righteousness is imparted into his spirit. It is a free gift.

Righteousness is the nature of God that gives us the ability to stand in his presence without any sense of guilt, inferiority or condemnation. It puts the rightness of God in our spirits and causes us to do right.

A good understanding of this will lead to more preachers preaching the whole councel of God in the proper way.

God prospers his people so they can do the work. A poor church cannot carry out the command of Jesus: to take his message around the world.. to save lost souls and make disciples of them.

The Lord gives the Word, it is left to us to publish it.

Psalm 68:11

You do not sound like someone who is involved in this God's number one passion of saving the world through the gospel. Because if you were, you will know what it entails.

In the ministry i belong, we send millions of books  and tapes free around the world and we have outstanding testimonies from around the world. Millions are saved, healed and delivered.
It takes mega box and not change to do this.

We have an innercity mission, reaching out to the poor, homeless and destitute... Offering them accomodation, food shelter and clothing. We own several television stations around the world through which we are filling this earth with the knowledge of God's will. We are not selfish and that is why God can trust us with more prosperity.

Ecclesiastes 9:14-15 
There was once a small city with only a few people in it. And a powerful king came against it, surrounded it and built huge siegeworks against it.
Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.

If the world can use money to publicise unimaginable evil, and immorality around the world causing men's hearts to fail them for fear, how much more will money in the hands of righteous people do much good; sending the message of Jesus around the world, thereby causing much grace to abound, leading to the salvation of many.

The poor man does not have disciples, his voice is not heard. Money amplifies our message.
The poor man's gospel is not heard and for that reason, we refuse to be a poor church!

I feel you outcast.

But it is important you realise that the church of Jesus christ is much bigger than one denomination and as such, your stand should be in christ and not in any local assembly.

Bringing the problem to the public this way isnt the best thing to do.

I think you should pray for your leaders and brethren in church. You can start a 'love revival' there by the power of the Holy Ghost. You start out loving and treating others as christ would and others will catch your fire.

If you find it too unbearable for you, you can worship elewhere instead of straining your relationship with God by speaking or rebelling against the church leaderhip.

Even though sin is sin (the breaking of God's law) and offensive to God, there are still different categories or degrees of sin according to the bible. Some can cause greater harm to the offender than others.

1Jn 5:16
"If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it".


Pride, Envy, bitterness and greed for intance will destroy a christain much faster than telling lies and fornication would...Even though lies and fornication also have their own very negative effects. These (pride, envy, greed and bitteness)easily grieve the Holy Spirit in such a way that his presence can hardly be felt by the offender until full repentance.

These are spiritual sins and are responsible for most cases of alcers, cancers, diabetes, migraine headaches which are mostly spiritual and with little or no hope for cure as they make the body conducive for evil spirits to occupy and afflict a person. Unfortunately, these are the most tolerated in the church today.


As for fornication and homosexuality. I really cannot say which is greater. It is possible to categorise both as sexual immorality, with the same cure: a renewal of the mind according to God's Word. But looking at it in terms of society and God's Creation order, i think homosexuality would be considered a greater sin.

Now, this is one topic which i will love to be discussed, definitely not with the intention of being critical but with the hope that it will lead to better enlightenment.

It is not unusual to see a christain carrying a bottle of oil or a piece of handkerchief with the belief that these will protect him from trouble or effect some favour or cause the miraculous to happen.

My intention here is for us to find out the mind of God as regards the use of these material mediums.

I read with amazement this statement in one of the books of a  renouned man of God in our country,"The Annointing Oil is actually the Holy Spirit in a bottle".

I consider that statement offensive to the personality of the Holy Spirit who is Himself God. He is so mighty that His presense can cause a building to literally shake under His power.  

He is too big to be bottled!

Now, i am very aware that there can be a rubb-off of Power(annointing) on these materials such that the power of God rests on them. I have experienced miracles using these mediums myself. But this should be according to the spirit's leading for particuar occasions.

It does not have to be a hankie. It could even be a piece of clothing. But that power lifts after a while, it does not remain on these materials.

It shouldn't be taught like a doctrine to carry these mediums around so as to use them each time the need for a miracle arises or at home for protection.

The world should be amazed at the mighty power that we have at work in us and not just look at us carrying these hankies(which you call mantle)and bottles of oil around like juju men as we already have recieved the fullness of the mighty Holy Spirit of God. We are his temples!

My God! If God's people knew how to stir this owesome power of God that is in them by the Holy Spirit, all those who have cashed in on the ignorance of God's people to go into the sale of olive oil and hankies will be out of business.

If God's power can  rub -off on inanimate materials such as hankies, how nuch more will it readily be available for use in the temple that was made to accomodate that presence and power(the human spirit).

Every man is made in the imgae of God and not 'God/Alah'. For God Almighty and Alah are not one and the same. You can do a research on that for yourself and find out.

Salvation is in your mouth. It is there for you to confess it for yourself.

Passage Romans 10:8-10:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

So your salvation is not with me, it is in your mouth through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you are christaian, then say it! ...speak the language of a christian because a tree is identified by its fruit.

I am not the Judge but Gods Word is. Do not question its authority. Only believe... that is what we do as christians.


You can only judge what or who is right through the light of God's Word. Allign yourself and your Words with His word and we'll have no quarell here. Do not speak against His church or rejoice in her short-comings otherwise you cannot claim to be He's.

People are dying simply because of their lack of knowledge and unbelief. In Nazareth, Jesus' home town, He could not do any mighty work because of their unbelief.

You certainly are unaware that satan is the God of this world's system and as such, as many as will chose to live without the  grace of God will leave under his influence. You are unaware that the spirit of the anti-christ is at work in our day more than ever before. He is in charge of most of the media.

That is why, news about deaths, natural disasters, corruption,rapes, dirty music/ movies and so on travel very very fast.  Wheras news of the Kingdom of God is discarded as mere religious fanatism.

I laughed when i saw advertised in a news magazine the 'first case ever of a person(a young man)who was totally healed of AIDS.' I felt pity for them. How blind  the world really is! They are only hearing of the first case of AIDS being healed whereas i have witnessed several cases of full-blown AIDS dematerialise under the power of God.

That is why i always fight with religious folks who always seek to bring down those with whom the power of God is being demonstrated, because of envy...rather than bow their faces, lifting up their voices to God in prayer that He might pour more of His glory upon His church in  these last days in signs wonders and miracles that the world may marvel...and fear!

Man judges after the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. God's Word should be interpreted by those who have been annointed with the Spirit of truth.

Well, Nigerians and indeed  Nigerian Christians know better now.

There is no penalty for accepting correction is there? Esp. when you know you do not have full knowledge or understanding of the matter.

To point to what you just quoted; you are not allowed to worship God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ in your own way but in Spirit and in truth ok?

Remember that there is grace for the humble. But God resists the proud.

I do not totally agree...

The disciples graduated from servants to friends before His death and resurrection. But after his resurrection, we were called brothers because we recieved of His very life. Eternal life(ZOE). This is the God-Life. The life that is in the father.

Passage 1 John 4:17:

"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world."

It may not yet look on the outside that we are like him but when He shall appear we shall be like Him for we shall see him as He is!

We are God's offspring. Even though many of us are still maturing into sonship.

There is nothing like deliverance ministry. It is not among the five-fold ministry gifts(Apostles, prophets,evangelists, pators and teachers). Casting out devils is for every christian and not for some chosen so- called demon-chasers. There is no special annointing to cast out devils. Those christains who continually seek deliverance never seem to find an end to their demon possession.

I have strong reservations concerning the new wave of trying to centre one's ministry on some minor aspect of the gospel. That is not right.

We are to preach the whole councel of God! ...and not the 'holiness' councel or the 'marriage' councel of God.

You problem is basically a word problem. Jesus said, "you err because you know not the scriptures."

Why do you choose to join the brotherhood of Judas who are offended to see men of God being blessed in all things. Judas was so angry with Jesus that satan entered him and caused him to betray Jesus. Meanwhile, judas was a theif; he had been stealing money from the offering purse (sinse he was the treasurer).

Mind you, the reason these men of God are being blessed this way is because God trusts them , that they will bless other people with what He has given them. They will not gather up wealth for themselves as if they will not leave this world at the end.

This is what the scritures teach:

Galatians 6:6

"Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor".

From to your post, you seem to me like one of those who prefer to share all their problems and sicknesses with the man of God but definitely not their pay. keep it up!

The rapture will first take place. Between the rapture and the second coming is a period of seven years(according to the scriptures). During these seven years, while the saints are with the Lord in heaven, there will be great tribulation on earth, like the world has never seen since its foundation.

The rapture will happen in a 'twinkle of an eye' the bible says. Believers will be changed; they will have glorified bodies. The kind Jesus had when he walked through the wall and appeared to His disciples after His ressurection.

However, the rest of he world will notice that christians have disappeared all over the earth but they will make up stories to explain the phenomenon.

As for the exact hour or time, we cannot know that now because it is reserved for the father. So to bother youself with that is to give yourself a burden that God did not give to you.

All Jesus said was, "watch and pray...". He said we will sense spiritually when that time is just around the corner. There are definite signs that have occured already but there are yet a few more that christains all over the world are looking foward to. Jesus said that we will know the time of the end just as we sense the weather the exact hour is not important for now.

I believe that when that day comes it will dawn on all those who are walking in the Spirit that the time has finally come to leave this world. I believe they will be saying to one another, "i sense it is today". There will be a knowing in our Spirits.

Jesus told us that that day shall not take us like a thief in the night. But to those who are not in tune with the Spirit, it sure will!

We will leave this world in just the same manner that Jesus left.

i thank God for Jesus, the bible says, the common people heard him gladly.

You call yourself Rhoda Rose. Did God give you that  name? Do you know the meaning of 'Rhoda' or 'Rose'... or you do not know that the name you bear affect you a great deal?  God  made you in his own image and you choose to name yourself after a flower? I'll  rather be called 'christian'(christ-like) than be called a flower which the scripures say, withers away.

It  is good we define something here  ladies and gentlemen because there needs to be a clear understanding of what  we are refering to here as the second coming.

The second coming of Jesus Christ is not the same as the rapture of the church and the  rapture of the church isn't the same as the second coming.

For at the rapture, the scriptures tell us that Jesus will wait in the air for the saints who will be  caught up to  meet him in the air. So he does not come to the earth for the  rapture but recieves his people in the air and takes them into heaven.

He will be seen at the rapture by only believers who have maitntained their faith in christ and their union with the spirit of God. The scriptures tell us:

1 Thes 4:15-17

"For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

1cor 15:51-54

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."

Whereas, for the second coming, all men shall see him. He shall come as the Lord of judgement, riding on a white horse and with a sword in his hand with which he will smite all that opose Him and all that have done wickedly to his people Isreal. He will come to rule and reign with the saints who will be coming with him in glory halleluyah!

Mk 13:24-27

"But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,  And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven."

So which 'coming' are you waiting for?  Is it the rapture or the second coming?

For those who have chosen to be perpetual sceptics and who insult and question holy things; you can refer those questions and insults to Him one on one.

Look at the book of Jude:

"...to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness which they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."

Lk 17:34-36

34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

In the above passage, we can see that the Word of God takes into consideration the different time zones when it talks about the comming of the Lord.

Men are at bed at night; ginding is done at the mills in the mornings for the day's bread. The typical eastern woman goes to the field in the evenings when the sun is down

Whereas the Lord was refering to a particular day and hour when He shall appear knowing fully well that when it is day in some parts of the earth, it is morning in some other parts.
