If you are seeking knowledge and information about God's miraculous power and how one can  appropriate it in his/her life i think you should do that the proper way. It is not always ideal to appear to be critical,  always questioning/doubting  God or his works.

What makes you guys think i collect tithes.

Are you amazed at how convinvced one can be about the truth of God's word? Must i stand for the Word only when i have some material gain? I believe the Word of God ...not only that part that is easy to obey or that suits my sense knowledge.

I cannot imagine not paying my tithes because i know what i have gained over the years as a result of walking in obedience.

I am no longer in control of my life or finances...God is. And as such, i can never be broke or disadvantaged in my life!

I feel sorry for you.

But you have a pastor don't you?

Because many of those churches you cll one man churches are not one -man churches as such.

They are pastored by an apostle of God. Workers are raised and sent out to win souls build and also send. So it is not a one man show at all.

Our man of God had long ago seized to recieve salary from the church. He lives by the Word and he is the biggest giver we have. As such, he is always loaded and ready to give.

Right from when he was a young lad from a rich home, he left the comfort of his home into the streets and villages to preach the gospel. His peers thought he was mad and some laughed at Him. He and a few friends of his used their pocket monies to print tracks, hold crusades, buy bibles and so on. They abbandoned all at the feet of Jesus. This was in the seventies and eighties when it wasnt fashionable to preach. They did not even recieve offerings then.

Now, is it good for you to accuse such a man of stealing people's money?

I remember one of our crusades at Benin city where over 1.5 million people attended. Several banks came around the venue with bullion vans ready to recieve offerings. To their supprise, no offerings were collected. Meanwhile, it cost over 50 million niara to hold that meeting.

When you carpet all of God's servants as theives, be careful because the God before whom they stand is listening.

It may suprise you , but many of those who are sick do not want to be haeld.

Jesus in his day, did not heal every sick person he met.

The crippled man at the gate of the temple had been there for 38 long years. Jesus went through that gate in to the temple several times but never attempted to heal the man.

He went to the pool of Bethsaida where there were several sick folk and healed only one man.

I was in a heling meeting with pastor Chris at the National Syadium Lagos where i saw something that amazed me. While thousands of sick folk struggled to get places in front there was this girl who went about with a paper saying 'DEAF and DUMB'.

Amazed at her, i asked her when she approached me with as much sign language as i could why she was not in the front waiting to be healed.

I tell you, the look she gave me told me and those around me that she hated me for that suggestion and she immediately left me and continued begging around.

Those beggars on the streets....i tell you give one of them a million naira, and you'll see him back there the next day. The same with the sick and crippled....many dont want to be healed.

Anyone who comes to Jesus in faith will not leave disappointed!

For Someone who will describe a person in a crowd of hundreds of thousands who is being healed of a particular sickness and have that person come out to confirm his/her healing; telling lies such as those alleged will be too low for him to even think of doing.

Look at the character of those who oppose tithing....

It is clear from their utterances that many of them lack the spirit.

Mankind will have to accept that salvation in Christ now or they will have to pay for it for themselves when the time comes.

Abraham , the father of faith, tithed ever before the Law came.

We tithe as children of Abraham and heirs of the same promise.

We who have belived have found our rest in him and in His Word.

As for your comments about beneficiaries of miracles, i actually feel pity for you. Because i percieve that in the place where you worship, the miraculous pesence of God is not manifested the way it should. If it were, you wouldnt make such staements because you will have more than enough living proofs of God's miracle working power. I have seen the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear and the dumb speak before my very eyes.

The Vatican will have too much on their hands if we were to report to them for verification.

In our healing meetings for instance, the healing lines are sooo long, filled with testifiers; we have never been able to take all the testimonies. In fact, while the testiomonies are being taken, miracles continue to happen all around in the congregation with thunderous shouts of praise here and there.

If i may ask, how many of those whom Jesus healed went to Pilate or to the high priest to report their healing. They rather followed Jesus.

The few times the priests and teachers of the law saw these testifiers or witnessed these miracles, they were filled with envy and indignation and saught all the more to stop them from happening.

Did you say you can never track them down?

Dear, If Jesus is in the congregation where you worship, you'd find them all over the place!

We do have churches in Nigeria that care big-time for the poor.

Our church has brought countless number of young people out of the streets, given them accomodation, food, clothing and even eduction.

At Christ Embassy, we have an inner-city mission school where  children tken off the streets are given free education.

We are rehabilitaing several drug addicts and prostitutes around the country to the glory of God...giving scholarships to many and establishing many in businesses.

I suggest you find out things for youself rather than be-cloud your minds with thoughts of corruption. The bible says "...to the pure in heart, all things are pure"

In fact at the 31st Night service, pastor Chris announced that in the year 2006 the minstry will focus on taking care of the poor like never before. He said that this time around, children will be the focus. They will be taken off the streets, fed, clothed, sheltered, and given an education so that they can achieve the future of their dreams.

It is easy to criticise and abuse pastors, many of which abandoned great careers at the feet of Jesus. What we want to see are people who will take the necessary steps to effect changes.

In this same new testament, Ananias, with Sapphira died on the spot for telling lies before the apostle Peter about something as simple as their offerings.

And for your information, The man of God has already spoken words against those who have chosen to make a living by using his name and pictures to tell lies, so as to sell their publications. In His words,"...the same annointing that opens blind eyes and unstops deaf ears will work against such folks... "

Even if he did not speak those words, they still would have come to pass. Because the scripture hath said, "touch not my annointed and do my prophets no harm".

If you are looking for a proof, i am a living proof. I have experienced a miracle of healing before in a healing crusade of Christ Embassy.

Apart from that, I have witnessed a blind man regain his sight in one of Pator Chris' meetings in Port Harcourt. I was a councellor in that meeting and i took record of that particular testimony and refered the man to a doctor for testing(verification).

Every one of those miracles you see on TV. have been tested and proven by trained doctors who are part of the healing team. We usually have thousands of doctors, nurses and biochemists in this team. Every one of those healings you see on TV have been verified by these doctors.

The NBC knows for sure that the miracles are true. That is why up till now, they have not come up with an approved verification body or even a well laid down procedure for verification. They are just acting on instructions.

I read about a lady who is a senior officer of NBC who said that Nigerian doctors were not trust worthy and as such should not be given the resposibility of verifying these miracles. This woman happened to be the wife of the General Overseer of Four square gospel Church, who was at the time, the vice president of the PFN and also a major supporter of the Ban. So the Churches can't verify, Nigerian doctors are too currupt to verify...So NBC becomes all and all...from prosecutor to "Almighty judge"!

My question for these PFN leaders is this: They believe in Benny Hinn and Renhard Bonke's ministries. Is it easier for them to go to America to verify miracles than to go to the addresses of those we put on TV? Their names and addresses are available. These people have clear identities in Nigeria. Why don't they go there to prove the miracles wrong?

Many of those who are shown on TV have medical certificates to prove their conditions.
The NBC could even book for an appointment with the healing school of christ embassy so as to interview these candidates, carry out tests on them and watch the healing service live.

But they would not do this...they are only interested in carrying out their anti-christ inspiresd campaign. Unfortunately for those christians who are supporters of the bann, they are unaware of the fact that they are dancing to the tune of the Spirit of the Anti-Christ.

In fact, he want us to noise them abroad!

Do you know know about His word that says,"they overcame by the blood of the lamb and by te word of their testimony".

When we show miracles on TV, we are giving the recipients opportunity to testify of the Lord's goodness to the world.

You had better keep testifying of the Lord's doings in your life if you want to retain that miracle.

However, i would like to draw your attention to certain statements you made which i do not agree entirely with.

Considering this option, it would all still make sense. No, there were no birds or mamals 150 milion years ago, because that was before the day God created them.

I do not agree because according to the bible, there were men, plants animals and even 'men' living on the earth before Adam.

Jeremiah 4:23-26

I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

In verse 25 of Jeremiah above, it says there was no man and all the birds were fled. ...Meaning that there must have been men and birds before the chaos.

If you know your bible well, you will know that there was no time in history where the earth was described to be this way ...without form and void, except at creation. Not even Noa's flood was desribed this way. There were some men and animals alive during and after the flood of Noah.  If you understand bible prophecy and interpretation, u'd understand that this is refering to the same period as we have in Genesis 1:1.

Now between Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2 is a very long period of time:

Genesis 1
  1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

  2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The Hebrew word translated as  'was' in Gen 1:2 is the same word used for 'became'.

God did not create the world without form and void. ....it became without form and void

So the creation story from verse 3 of the book of Genesis, is actually a re-creation story. Between the creation and the recreation of the earth, is a very long period of time ...millions of years.

Gen 1:27,28

27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

From the above passage of scripture we see God saying to them "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth" You do not relenish something that wasn't there before.

The earth before Genesis 1 vs 2 was occupied and inhabited.

Meaning that there were men and and animals in that world. This explains the discoveries of ape-men and dinosaurs. They lived in that period of time...between Gen 1:1 an Gen 1:2

As to why forms of the past are no longer living, there could be millons of reasons. God didn't ask Dinasours to go with Noah, when there was the flood. Maybe God distroyed them, and Didn't think it was important enough to put in the bible.Maybe they couldn't adapt to something new in their enviornment, and so they died.

The book of Job, believed to be the oldest book of the bible describes dinosaurs. I'll give u references later. These creature however must have been destroyed when God in his anger turned this earth up-side down, covering it in water, burying all them cities, and animals, leaving the earth without form and void.

There are millions of possible reasons. It doesn't mean that evolution is a fact. Just a possibility.

Evolution could have ocurred, but it must have come to a stop when God destroyed the earth. This destruction, is what scientists unknowingly refer to as the big-bang.

I just took a look at that link. Do people still read such poorly prepared stories?

Apart from the fact that it is just a compisition of lies put together by a satan-influenced fellow, it lacks credibility.

Its a pity that even at this stage of our development, such junk-journalism can still be found in our country.

Luridguy, i advice that you listen from the horse's mouth and draw wahtever conclusions you want to rather than follow decieved and misled fools who are only out to decieve and mislead others for financial gain.

The sources they sited do not say anything similar to what they put down. For them it could be seen as creative writing but i must warn that it is offfensive to God.

Remember Elisha, when he was laughed at by some kids who made fun of his bald head. He called out wild beasts from the field to eat tham up and God was not angry with him.

There is judgement hanging over their heads...i advice that you stick to God's Word and learn from Jesus. Then you will never be decieved.
