The EFCC in Gombe state have arrested 26 suspects for allegedly producing adulterated palm oil by mixing some quantity of palm oil with unknown substances and selling same to the public as genuine palm oil in the Gombe main market.The command in a statement released this evening, gave the names of the suspects as Yahaya Sanusi, Mohammed Abubakar, Nasiru Bappa, Bello Ahmed, Emeka Oppah, TheophilusSamuel, Auwalu Abubakar, Monday John, Chindo Garba, Mohammed Umar, Dauda Mohammed and Anas Musa C.Others are Umar Friday, Abbayo Musa, Hamisu Mohammed, Ali Garba Inuwa Auwal, Tukur Adamu, Ahmad Usman, Emmanuel Etuk, Auwal Iliya, Ejike Samuel, Peter Ndubuisi, Babangida Yerima, Giginna Alphonsus and Usman Musa.Handing over the suspects to the Gombe State coordinator of NAFDAC, who was represented by Laras Jatau on Friday, Gombe Zonal Head, Michael Wetkas, revealed that the office received an intelligence report, which was acted upon.The suspects were apprehended with some in the process of mixing palm oil with the said substances. it's my opinion though. we not just here to sell palm oil, we want to mentor as many youths as possible. This is the best place to do that. almost every family is represented on this platform

I frown at this practice, I do actual measurements at my mill, so if you bring an expanded keg, you will be disappointed o, 25 litres is 25 litres lol...

we have Igala palm oil, fibre, palm kernel oil, PKC and Sludge available for sale in Lokoja

people with dirt free oil and don't have problem but you know most millers don't refine their oil

Please, can you explain the procedure of training kegs to contain more oil

its a simple two way procedure.
the best is boiling hot water and filling the keg until it's saturated and cork it under pressure overnight. You just wake up to find it swollen but you have to repeat the procedure for like a week to accommodate 4-5 litres.

Second procedure involves exposure to sunlight but this takes like a month. You fill it with coarse sand relatively warm and keep hitting and sun drying till you get desired outcome.

people usually prefer first approach cos it's faster but both are tested and confirmed. enjoy

I sold them off on 8th Aug at N7500/gal. Oil was very cheap... I just recovered my money.

I saw a place in Zaria selling first grade for 15k precisely bassawa axis and I asked the woman cos I pretended to be a buyer...... is that your last price, she responded b4 nko. my brother oil is too cost. I smiled and continued my journey sha.

So today I reflected back on how we all began. They've been failures, successes and challenges but I rise more than I fall.
I remember last year when a little act of kindness shown to a colleague almost cost me my integrity. Uboma, Etiumoh, and whole lot of others who followed us on the Agric section could bear me witness.
Today I am humbled by the support and encouragement I've received in words, prayers, patronage and connect that I've received from everyone. I want to say thank you.
It's not the end of year, but appreciation they say, is application for more.
I thank God that until date, no one has called me out on money diversion, stealing or fraudulent business transaction. I won't forget the responsibility and trust that you all have bestowed on me. I'd keep doing my best in quality and service as I look forward to better patronage and support from all of us.
May I also remind everyone that this thread is for all of us, I would never stop any sincere hustler from doing his legitimate business here and I encourage everyone to do so with all amount of sincerity. special thanks to everyone who have been contributing to keep us updated all year round. we are grateful.
