Oil price been relatively stable this week. It's dropped to 85500-9k in Akwa Ibom.
Kaduna is 12k
Lagos 11500-12k
Abuja is 13k gwagwalada
Kano is 10500( don't go there ��)
Illorin 11500
Kogi is 10500(Igala oil)
Benue is 10k
Osun 9k to 9500
Sokoto is 12500
calabar 8500-9k
Rivers is 12k
Onitsha is 10500

my village is selling 8500 second grade and 10k first grade. I just dey laugh

I want to venture into this business, trying to buy cheap and sell high, even if after expenses and I make N450 from each keg I will be fine. I don't mean buying and storing to be sold later- No! I mean buying low and selling high to make a little profit, but my problem is that I don't want to sell my oil in the market to these market women.

What if you pay the huge expenses from east here to either Lagos or North to supply and after getting there your buyer runs away or tells you that your iol is bad and as a result of that prices you below your cost price?

Every dealer buying oil from the mill has a trained keg specifically for measuring oil.
I don't want to go into details of training the kegs, that should be left for another day.
it is necessary cos most oil have dirts settled at the bottom of kegs after two days, so if u buy 25litres from the mill, you expect to have less after refining or boiling off the dirt. To curb this, you train your kegs to contain extra 4-5litres so this can compensate for the deficit.
Most sellers will ask for additional 100-200 if you measuring with your kegs.

Chai...with all these prices,it seems there's no hope. At N5,500 I'm making a loss of N1900/gal. I bought around April at N7000/gal excluding Tfare. With tfare,its N7400/gal

theres no need to panic. First grade oil is around 7k and would soon circulate the country. Am only concerned about the quality of your oil. if it's first grade, you'd sell for a very good profit margin by December

Utu Ikot Imonte, Nkwot Ikono and Etok uruk eshiet is selling 6500-7000 in Etim Ekpo Sir.
This is one of my favorite locations so am speaking with facts.
