How did u knw Unizik used only Jamb result?
heard some people say their admission status changed to admitted hours after they edited their o'levels... that would insinuate they already made the list, they just had to correct their o'level details

could be wrong tho... feel free to correct, you should know better

Good day ladies and gentlemen. I am an aspirant. MBBS to be precise. I had my waec result in one sitting tho all C's. Seeing the way things are going i decided to rewrite waec this year to boost my grade. I also bought jamb form buh my problem now is which university i should put in my form. Last year i chose Delsu and when they(Delta state university)did their screening waec result was out then,so i am afraid of putting it again this year. Guys pls suggest any university u knw that did their screening after the release of WAEC result or any uni that screening based on JAMB only or suggest what u feel i should do,i really need to go to school this year am not getting any younger. Thanks y'll. I await ur replies
Last year isn't this year bro, things could change, many schools who didn't use O'levels could decide to use it. Anyway to your question, you didn't specify if you needed a federal or state uni, bearing in mind that both have different level of difficulty getting in

The following schools did their screening after Waec came out, some allowed students with A/R to upload theirs after the results came out

Unn: Waec & utme
Unizik: utme only
Uniport: utme only
Ndu: utme only

This are the ones I know cus I was following updates on the schools. For more info, you could Google the school of your choice and find out when their screening was announced and the method used

Goodluck!

Actually concerning pressure in the blood there are control systems that would work to reduce the the pressure via vasoconstriction of vessels nd vasodilation of peripheral vessels nd reducing heart rate nd force of contraction. Nd when HR is reduced the pressure would be reduced.
Also not that due to the lower veinous return as a result of VC rupture cardiac output will be lower etc
this was insightful and actually makes me wanna ask if a malfunction in these control systems is the reason for low blood pressure?

Back to the questions i think it would be wise to stop bleeding from both aorta nd VC then try to repair the vessels. I doubt the individual would make it to the hospital before tissue start shutting down due to shock nd low blood volume.
I know my more experienced colleagues would have a better answer...
I do know the blood vessels would need closing and repair, but which one should be closed first, as in level of importance, that's the question..... thanks for the reply anyway

I was wondering, if a person were to be involved in a fatal accident, and an artery and vein of the same size(e.g aorta and vena cava) were to be severed... which should be closed first or which is more fatal to the patient's life?

I think its the artery, considering blood in it is at high pressure... anyway, lemme hear what the bosses have to say

I can bet that 90% of all utme candidates have already read and prepared for Forcados, the remaining 10% don't even know they will be tested on a text.

so jamb expect the candidates to dump their revisions and start reading a new text?... or read their textbooks again based on the new syllabus?

everyday, that silly body gives new reasons why it should be scraped

Thanks.
you could check out other low end phones by gionee, infinix or Tecno

I would recommend the M5mini, though the price is twice if not three times the price of the M3m.

Hello everyone I'm from Benue state and I'm aspiring to be a medicine student ...I want to know which universities would be my best choice
your best choice would be the one you can easily get admitted into, that depends on your intelligence and how intelligent your competitors are. Also pick a university where your state is catchment, could help.

Goodluck choosing!

Thanks a lot oga jefdr001 and boss jargo for the explanations. Although, I still got questions, I think I have gotten what I came for.

Lemme just drop this one(kinda two);
Oga jefdr mentioned some drugs that are never metabolised by the liver.

1. What situation would warrant such drugs

2 If someone with severe cirrhosis were to be critically ill, wouldn't there be some kinda drug overdose due to buildup of intake.... what can be done in such cases?

I hope I'm not asking too much... Happy Sunday All!!!!
EducationRe: Please Advice Me , I Am Really Confused by Donpre(m): 7:55pm On Feb 11, 2017
Did you drop out of pharm sch?.. else why would you wanna rewrite and still apply for pharm?

also com sci need maths both in the uni, during jamb and in application of knowledge too

I see no reason why you can't do both. I intend to apply for med and still be a programmer.

My advice is, find a way and do both. The more skills you have, the better you chances of working anywhere

Good morn ogas, and ogas to be in the house.

I just recovered from an intense malaria episode, and this morning, my brain resumed duty. I was wondering, since the chunk of drugs I took would passed through my stomach to my small intestine, then to my liver, and the liver is charged with detoxification of substances such as drugs, alcohol etc.
Wouldn't it be assumed that the drugs would be neutralized before it enters the blood stream

or would it pass through the lymphatic system, as that's the only way to bypass the liver and get directly to the heart?
