pazienza: La liga 2017/18 Modric 2 assists , 27 key passes Ronaldo 5 assists , 24 key passes
World Cup 2018
Modric 2 goals and 1 assist Ronaldo 4 goals and 0 assists
UCL 2017/18
Modric 1 goal and 1 assists 7 key passes Ronaldo 15 goals and 3 assists 11 key passes How many tackles did CR7 get? That is part of the problem with today's football awards. I so much dislike the fact that someone will be awarded based on the number of goals he scored. The job of some of these Midfielders are not easy to do. They are the engine room of most teams. There is no way a team will score goals without a top class midfielder. Going by the stats you put up there, players like Kaka, Zidane, Ronaldinho would not have won the award. We want real football back. |

modik: Double standard is corruption Is he the only corrupt person? How about your governor? I am way wiser than this childish reasons you are putting forward. The hatred for Tinubu goes deeper and it didn't start today. Most of his haters are from a particular ethnic group. Face your governor please. Corruption is going on everywhere. Tinubu never claimed to be a saint. |

modik: Tinubu 's sin:
1.Support Aregbe who nearly grounded Osun to a halt via bad governance and financial mismanagement.
2.Dislodge Ambode who is the best performing governor in Nigeria
You see? How is that your business? The hatred goes deeper. |

TonyeBarcanista: You read the article so?
Fashola + Banire + Oki are aligning with Jide Olu against Ambo. Meaning, they are falling in line with Jagaban! You want to give children of hate high blood pressure with this clarification. Funny peeps who voted against Ambode in 2015 are now supporting him because of their hate for Tinubu. What is Tinubu's sin? He supported Buhari in 2015. Saraki, Atiku and Tambuwal did same but they have all been forgiven and made hero. I smell envy. |

Politics › Re: IPOB:Why The Sit At Home Is More Effective In South East by DoTheNeedful: 3:45pm On Sep 14, 2018 |
chigoizie7: My post said, WHY THE SIT AT HOME IS EFFECTIVE IN SOUTH EAST.
I don't know what is hard to read up there.
2ndly, since all those securities where deployed, has any IPOB miscreant ( in your words) been arrested for harassing anyone?
I live in Obosi but I work at nnewi , commercial bus drivers enjoy their businesses plying Onitsha and nnewi because they transport both goods and human beings, mostly traders or those going to buy from nnewi, but since those markets were under lock and keys, there will be no one or even goods to convey or transport, so what's the need of going to work today? Na to just go waste their fuel, now people like me, ( I work in a financial institution and my branch is in nnewi), who also get easy transportation because of the lucrative nature of the transportation biz in nnewi, could no longer access it because they ain't working( no customers to carry), I will be forced to sit at home as I can't access my office, also, even if I get to the office, what will I do? My place of work is situated in a place where businesses are targeted, but since they are all closed, I will just sit at home too, likewise my colleagues.
And it goes round and round.
My head of operations didn't come to work today because of what he witnessed last time a sit at home was enforced. Why? because the army and police blocked a major road and shooting sporadically , making it impossible to get to the office, he just went home .and yesterday, he said he is never coming to work today because of his last experience .
All the major markets were under lock and keys, why? How many IPOB miscreants to u think can out number those traders in the market? I didn't use the word miscreant. By the way, I appreciate your insult-free reply. You are a mature dude. |
Politics › Re: IPOB:Why The Sit At Home Is More Effective In South East by DoTheNeedful: 3:25pm On Sep 14, 2018 |
chigoizie7: The truth is very clear. In south east. People survive on their own. They don't benefit anything from the government (FG), from good roads, to jobs, no major infrastructures ,no electricity and so much more. Everything done in south east is determined by two group of people. The commercial bus drivers and the traders. Once these two go on strike, the whole of south east will be on shut down .
Everyone here is on their own. Govt can't sanction anyone.
In as much as many people as sticking to this sit at home for what it is , some other people are adhering to it by force, courtesy of Nigeria lawless security operatives.
Just imagine if no market is open for businesses in Anambra and then no commercial bus drivers on the road, automatically, all banks will not work, as there is no one to attend to, even though their ATM channels are open. Then for other civil servants, no one can go to work because they can't do so trekking if there are no means of transportation.
Even those that want to travel outside the state, still can't do that as there are no vehicles to convey them.
The government has no influence on businessmen and women. U can't penalise them for not opening for business. Same as commercial bus drivers, u can't force any of them to work against their wishes.
That's what happens when the govt doesn't do anything for the masses, they grow thick skin to survive without the government presence in their lives.
There are so many people willing to go out today, but can't because they can't trek ,so they just stay back at home.
2ndly, from the past, the people of south east has seen how lawless the security operatives are, as such, everyone is taking measures to avoid being caught up in the crossfire of their lawlessness. Otherwise those that has private vehicles would still go about their normal businesses today.
Bad governance made this sit at home a success.
Ike nkwucha aburo ujo. They observed it mainly because of the fear of harassment by IPOB members and not being labelled as traitors. It's simple! IPOB will announce "sit at home" but their members won't sit at home. They would be moving about to check who observe and who didn't. Why are others living outside Igboland not observing it? Is there no poverty or lack of government presence in other places also? |

Na their life. Statements like that has much to do with youthful exuberance than feminism. If they refuse to adopt their husbands' surnames and retain their dad's, they will still be answering a man's name. If the thing pain them for body and they decide to take their mother's surname, it would still be a man's name. It's a patriarchal world. Let them deal with it.As powerful as Hilary Clinton and most other distinguish women in the world are, they all adopted their husband's name. While some other young ladies are doing a lot all over the world to enrich themselves and position themselves for opportunities, these dirty ladies with smelly pants are shouting feminism up and down social media.
