I have just gone through the board composition of Guarantee Trust Bank otherwise known as GTB and the Redeemed Church only to discover there is no federal character in the composition of these boards, as a matter of fact, no Igbo man is part of these boards whereas most of the contributors of these organizations are people from the east. This is uncharitable.
I think that the time has come in this country that any organization that excludes a people from its organization board should not be allowed to operate in that region.
I’m particularly disappointed in Redeemed Church being a Christian organization. The federal government must do something about this immediately!

A married couple living at no 26 Aunty Toyin street, Kodeibo Estate, Ijegun Road, Isheri Oshun, Lagos have been arrested by the Lagos state police command for sexually assaulting and violating their househelp.

The husband, Chigozie Ezeofo was accused of trying to analy penetrate Miss Blessing Joseph, 19, whenever his wife was not around.

His wife, Mrs. Isioma Ezeofor was also of accused of beating up the girl at the slightest provocation.

The couple was arrested after a neighbour called the police to report that Mrs. Isioma poured hot water on the young girl.

Both husband and wife are being interrogated at the Gender Section of Lagos State Police Command and would be charged to court at the end of the investigation.

GTB is at fault here. However, I shudder at seeing some comment tribalizing the whole issue. Issues like this happens a lot in the business world but making this look like a persecution makes me weak I swear.

Why address the issue politically? Why can't they seek redress in a court of law? Every profession has its ethics and code of conduct. Law is not for everyone. After-all the Sharia courts don't admit women as counsels. There is a great politics behind religion in Nigeria.

Many women are experts in abuse. This kind of a thing is very common in many homes and victims are usually house-girls, step children and relatives. The irony is that these same women will scream to high heavens if their husbands or partners reset them to default settings with slaps. They are also the ones shouting everywhere that "a man should never raise his hand against a woman". What an hypocritical set.

The simple answer to your question is this;
It is irrelevant who they delegate!! Ask your leaders to give you good roads, good schools, jobs, constant power supply, security, welfare, and the list goes on. Demand accountability and responsibility from you president, governors, senators, local government chairman, etc. That is what Nigeria needs right now, not more religious sentiments.

Thrash! Nigeria is supposed to be a secular nation. Being a sensitive country as Nigeria is, the country should not have any official opinion in what is going on in the Middle East. We have a lot of restructuring and candid talks to ourselves if Nigeria should continue to be.

The trade balance should have been presented in dollars. I believe the weakening of the naira against the dollar might be a factor in the high figure.

The fact that the North is scared of restructuring or a change in the status quo means the foundation of Nigeria is not fair to other Nigerians.
