Politics › Re: Nigeria Among The Muslim Nations That Recognize Jerusalem As Palestine Capital by DoTheNeedful: 8:25pm On Dec 13, 2017 |
[s] lindabon: The bolded is the reason why they sent a Muslim representative. Do you suggest that they delegate a Christain to deal on Muslims affairs? Even if they do, you will still accuse them of ISLAMATISING Nigeria.
Poverty has still not spared any religion in Nigeria even with our religious sentiments. When shall we ever focus on the issue which is our failed leadership in every level!!
Okay now tell me, how will sending a Muslim or Christain delegate eradicate poverty in Nigeria? Please say?
Nigeria with a Population of 55% Christians when did we go from a secular state to a world recognized Muslim Nation?
The simple answer to your question is this; It is irrelevant who they delegate!! Ask your leaders to give you good roads, good schools, jobs, constant power supply, security, welfare, and the list goes on. Demand accountability and responsibility from you president, governors, senators, local government chairman, etc. That is what Nigeria needs right now, not more religious sentiments. [/s] Thrash! Nigeria is supposed to be a secular nation. Being a sensitive country as Nigeria is, the country should not have any official opinion in what is going on in the Middle East. We have a lot of restructuring and candid talks to ourselves if Nigeria should continue to be. |

These Arab billionaires have chronic insecurity problems and inferiority complex. Must they date top celebs to be happy? Few years ago, one dated Janet Jackson. Funny people! If they are not buying a gold car, they are buying diamond encrusted phones. This is not about spending because the money is there, it is pure insecurity. |

The trade balance should have been presented in dollars. I believe the weakening of the naira against the dollar might be a factor in the high figure. |

The fact that the North is scared of restructuring or a change in the status quo means the foundation of Nigeria is not fair to other Nigerians. I am particularly shocked by this statement: ' we shall look at them critically from the northern perspective' . Other Nigerians are on a long thing. Little wonder the original PIB did not scale. Nigeria is just an estate of the Hausa/Fulani. Take it or leave it. |

WetinConsignMe: But you just mentioned everything that gives life meaning: family members, cultural activities and freedom from inexcapable laws! The bolded is why Nigeria will struggle for many years to come. In the bolded is corruption and the glaring truth almost every Nigerian participates in corruption, no only the leaders. |
Politics › Re: The Nigerian Dream In One Photo by DoTheNeedful: 4:28am On Dec 01, 2017 |
WetinConsignMe: Funny but not unique to Nigeria. People tend to love their country more once abroad. Even some people from rich countries hate their countries - until they try living in their beloved romanticized "abroad". You are right to some extent. But people abroad miss home, culture like someone earlier said but more importantly the impunity and lawlessness in Nigeria. Western countries don't reward laziness but laziness thrives in Nigeria and that's part of the reason Nigeria is the way it is. |
