Well i say it does exist because i have seen it firsthand. Point of correction,the Mac's all have a slot loading DVD Super Drive,Ethernet Ports,SD Card Slot,Display port which can be used for VGA and HDMI outputs with adapters,Wifi etc and i forgot to add a backlit keyboard that uses an ambient sensor (You can google ambient sensor) .
And why do you need to have a removable battery if you have one that runs for 10 hours(7-8 hours on standard usage) and can go for 1000 recharge cycles??

What is your source on that?? Intel make's the processor's for all present macs and they are the same Core2Duo, Core i5 and Core i7 processors on the market. So to say they are 'generally slow' is ignorant!

Are you sure you have seen a Mac before? . The Mac book Pro has a slot loading DVD Super Drive!,Ethernet Port,Wifi etc. The HDMI and the VGA can be used using a Display port adapter. As for the battery,let us not even go there. Why have a removable battery,when you have a 10 hour battery (6-9 hours on standard usage) that can go 1000 recharge cycles? Trust me,using one will change your mind completely. Mac Rules!

Are you sure you have seen a Mac before? . The Mac book Pro has a slot loading DVD Super Drive!,Ethernet Port,Wifi etc. The HDMI and the VGA can be used using a Display port adapter. i am using a 13inch mac book pro,may 2010.The effizy is cool and i like the fact that i am not plagued by viruses and it fits in my small bag so no one even knows what i am carrying.The mac osx software are just amazing.Installation of software only take a second(copy and paste into applications).screen wise,just think of a huge 13inch glossy iphone screen.the retina display,the camera.Its just generally sexy.the multitouch track pad is just awesome. Vm ware fusion lets you load windows as a program and delete it into trash in seconds.i can't shout anymore.

Spot on! Not to talk of the Backlit Keyboard that uses an ambient sensor. The Macbook Pro is a killer System anytime anyday.

Intel core i7 and i5 processors where included in the Mac Line up early this year and btw it is not how long but how well! Ask Nokia,they will tell you their sad story. The Macbook Pro is top quality anyday anytime, you get what you pay for. If you are still doubting, check this out from CNET as at wednesday October 27 2010. http://reviews.cnet.com/best-laptops/. The macbook pro is still number 1!

AS for me i was a PC user/lover (notice the word was?) until about 3 months ago. I started doing my research on the MAC OS X and the Hardware it runs on and i was simply blown away! The fact that the Hardware and Software is manufactured by the same people just makes sense because it just works! Make i no just go into details about the OS and Hardware so as to make my post as brief as possible. A colleague of mine was bitten by the bug also and ordered a 13inch Macbook PRO 2010 edition (Unibody) and coming in contact with it and using it was lime being reborn. Iv since purchased mine and getting it delivered in a few days time and i can't wait. As the saying goes 'Once you go MAC you never go BACK'!

4ller i agree with you on that sha, MAC's don't come cheap especially in Nigeria. Got mine online at a discounted price. Apple has an authorized reseller/repair center in Nigeria,check them out at http://www.ishopa.com/ . Their prices no cheap sha o!

All anti-virus are good, depending on who is using it. It also depends on favorites.

I disagree with you also on that,not all anti-virus programs are 'good'! Some can be overzealous and even delete critical systems files e.g Bit Defender. As for it being your 'favorite' this has nothing to do with performance. I like a Keke Marwa doesn't make it better than a BMW 7 Series!
As for me my Pick would be Eset Smart Security because it is light,scans fast,updates are small and fast (incremental) and it is very good at catching virus in the wild i.e Viruses with no known signature.

Wait for the Motorola Droid Pro or go for the HTC Desire if it is urgent.

Abeg I need to clarify something.

I tried to install some apps I downloaded into my iPhone and it tells me those apps cannot work with my current version (3.0) and would have to upgrade to version 4.1.

I started the process of upgrading but was warned that I would lose all current settings, apps, music, messages etc.

I just need to be sure - If I go along with this upgrade,does it mean I lose everything entirely including items on my iTunes? Willl I still have some sort of back up??

If your iphone is a 3G please do not bother upgrading cos it will terribly slow down your phone (from experience) as Uncle Stevey (Steve Jobs) says that ios4 is not meant for the 3G.If you are using a 3GS, confirm if your phone came as factory unlocked if not you will need to lay your hands on the necessary Jailbreaking and Unlocking tools in order to continue using your phone.
Never be in a rush to update your iphone OS!

Then you need to double on your prayers cause i am 85% sure it is the motherboard. . HP and their cheap craftsmanship!
