Sports › Is C.ronaldo The Best Step Over Exponent? by doyin13(op): 11:22am On Jul 26, 2007
The step over seems a certainty when C.Ronaldo is on the ball.

But while it is exciting to watch it is quite ineffective I think.

I reckon others show better judgement in using the step over. Ronaldo Fenomeno comes to mind.

Una agree?

I don't know y I have to keep schooling ppl on this Dracula git.

The Brother aint worth 30 mil.

That makes him more expensive than Rooney in a buyer's market.

He is not very quick, and I know ppl say he is strong, problem his he thinks so as well too. Makes him lose the ball more than he should.

At Corinthians he used to do one ridiculous move where he would put his foot on the ball and start some stupid drag back. A poor version of D'allesandro's signature move. But he always ended up passing the ball anyway.

And he was not the saviour of West Ham last season.

West Ham were saved when they realised that they needed midfielders who could hold the ball and Curbishley started playing Mark Noble and Benayyoun(who I think was particularly key to their survival)

The guy has been lucky and he has hardly improved(I think he has gone worse actually) since he was being named South American player of the year.

I ain't hating but brother's wack

Well you can't learn art by rote. It is a creative enterprise, individualistic, something that comes from somewhere within you, usually symbolised by that EUREKA moment.

It just seems the same old thing over and over again, the same recycled jokes peculiar to the Christian community.

But I don't want to go to HELL. Somebody help!

Christianity Etc › Senegalese Islam: The Greatest? by doyin13(op): 5:21pm On Jul 25, 2007
I find the brand of Islam being practised in Senegal quite refreshing.

Rather than the little joysticks that inhabit Northern Nigeria, these muslims are not afraid to allow women to be human beings, rather than the condescending bullshit of the mallams in Kano and Sokoto

The Biggest sect of the country, the Mourides also emphasise hardwork hand in hand with the natural duties of a muslim.

And those duties do not include doing Allah's work for him.

It all makes me want to become a Muslim actually. grin grin grin

Sports › Is The Barry Bonds Saga Racist? by doyin13(op): 3:57pm On Jul 25, 2007
I just think that the whole Barry Bonds thing just highlights the hypocrisy of American sports.

They have suggested putting an asterisk besides his record when he breaks the home run record.

But they seem to forget that if he did take drugs it was never illegal and it was common amongst all the players.
And I want someone to tell me whether on a level playing field Bond would still not be the top slugger in the Majors.

And the hallowed Babe Ruth- I wonder if they ever considered putting an asterisk to his record as he never played against the great players of the Negro Leagues.

I say white ppl are scandalous
Sports › Re: Cycling - A Sport Jinxed? by doyin13(m): 3:44pm On Jul 25, 2007
I simply don't understand what's going on in the sport.

So many ppl have been caught and yet these idiots keep cheating.

A thought that has crossed my mind recently is that perhaps they should be no drug laws. Let everyone be at it.

That way at least we will know we are watching real competition-
Between the Drug Companies.
Politics › Re: Power Outage In America! by doyin13(m): 3:28pm On Jul 25, 2007
To highlight the power poverty in Nigeria, consider that we have almost thrice the population of S. Africa, and we have struggled to keep our capacity at 3,000 MW.

South Africa is now planning to extend its capacity from the current 40,000MW!!!
