well this team still needs a better receiving corps than it has presently. . .

It is no good having a marquee arm if you have nobody to catch the ball.

@bagoma
u're a useless biotch pls next time stay away from the threads of champions u must be utterly stupid to think we would just lay down and loose , we're champions we make things difficult for ourselves ,that's why we're manchester united, we played this similar kind of match at everton 2006/2007 season everton were up 2 nil in the 2nd half around the 56th min and chelsea with mourinho were up 2-1 had we lost that game our lead at the table would have cut to 3 points but united as the comeback kings of football scored 4 goals to win while chelsea with the so called special one drew. i dare to say as sauron said the previous day we would carry it in may and i don't give 2 F's that we let liverpool back into the dance i don't care if we've lost a possible 6 points to just lead by 1 point i dare to say we'll carry it May why? Because we're Machester United and we just never Die. United till i Die!!!
come on. . .thats no way to talk to a lady

Because of circumstances surrounding Cutler's departure from Denver, this trade will forever be juxtaposed with Cassell's move to the Chiefs.

The Chiefs gave up a sole second round pick to get Cassell, while as Jesoul pointed out, the Bears have given up two first round picks as well as
picks from the later rounds.

Me thinks the Bears got jacked. . .

I have to admit the sentence does seem a bit harsh. . . but reasons for a judge passing sentence vary
and are legitimate so long as the punishment prescribed is within the boundaries of the law.

I do not see how the judge can be criticised if the sentence she has prescribed conforms to what is held
in the statute books.

I suspect she has passed a tough sentence because she is suspicious about the circumstances surrounding
the first sentence. Perhaps Ibinabo greased some palms during the initial hearing.

It would seem this Edo Syndrome has spread to the ancient city of Ibadan
where the special assistant on communication to the governor came up with
a classic composition Igodo Megodo would be proud of. Here he is celebrating, a
bit prematurely as it turned out, PDP' victory in the courts in Osun state.

The case of the Oyo State special adviser on Public Communications, Mr. Dotun Oyelade, is particularly outstanding. While the case of Oyinlola vs Aregbesola was going on at the Appeal court, Oyelade, in a bid to prove to his bosses that he was working so hard, took up his dictionary and writing materials.

Having believed the PDP had gotten everything covered, he issued a press statement through electronic mail. He had written that ”…pitted against corser judgment, hallucinating in a Pyrrhic victory that was at best a make belief… clawing to a fragile gambit of forensic nonsense and harmless phone conversations, the opposition failed to intimidate the discerning judiciary with their war mongering partisan noises…”

I've always told ju men to stay away from English wey pass their level.

How can a life spent on arduous pursuits such as swimming and fishing be described as sedentary?

BTW, I was the no 1 crab catcher in Borokiri. I taught the boys the art of baiting crab traps with onions instead of yam and yield shot up tenfold. cool

I associate fishing with sitting down and proper fishing gear.

apparently. . . .the construction of the two light rail network will begin
in september. There will be two lines, one from somewhere in Ogun state
running through ikorodu and oshodi all the way to Marina. The second will
run from Okokomaiko through mile two and terminate at Marina also. Expected date
of completion is expected to be 2011.

Let's hope it suceeds.

hmmm . . . i have been sleeping on b-ball for a bit now.

Sad to see the demise of the Bad Boy Pistons though.

I was actually hoping the Bobcats would pip the Bulls to the last spot.
But its just typical of the weird Bulls. They have been rescued by a can of Salmons grin grin

Sad to see the Suns go down like this as well. That team sure is going to be looking different
in a jiffy.

Finally who wan bet with me. . . .the Cavs don't go past the second round of the playoffs.

People are often surprised nay shocked when I tell them I support Portsmouth.
It seems clubs like Pompey, 'Boro, Villa, or West Brom do not deserve any supporters
and I must have a loose screw for supporting such a club.

I support Pompey because I have an almost filial link to the place and I have supported them ever since I could
read those pool slips grin, so my support I think is wholly rational. But I am sure they are many who would
still be astounded by my choice.

I would like folks to state when they started supporting and why they support the club they do.

Lets just see how irrational my choice of club is undecided undecided

That was in reference to Scholesy. The English have always had a distrust of flair players (Merson, Le Tissier, Hoddle, Barnes, Joe Cole, McManaman etc). I have said several times that Hoddle is the greatest player England ever produced but he is not honoured in his own country.
That's unfair on the English o. Gazza was skillful na grin grin

Yes he his!

When did you start watching football anyway?

Am a 80's baby and i know Hoddle was quality in his days

I aint even talking about country achievements here, obviously we know Hoddle and Scholes were legends, i said it before!

The game has changed dude, attacking midfielders get a lot more freedom made possible by the backbone behind them and Stevie G exploits that

Fuc.k blasphemy, Stevie G offers a lot more in line with modern football!
