Let him play at real madrid, where the defenders are often exposed.

The boy is a joke. . . he wants to move to Spain.

What has goal scoring gotta do with a player's ability.
By your moronic wisdom, Lescott is better than John Terry cos he has scored more??
It simply shows your lack of comprehension and understanding of the dynamics of football.

You mention defenders when the issue at hand is a midfield player. And what do the best midfield
players have in common. They chip in with their fair share of goals. No

It is even more imperative in Anderson's case when you consider, he used to play on the left side of midfield.
One would assume he would be able to show a level of composure in front of goal. Instead he has shown to be
a bigger threat to poor kids in the stands who help to pay his salary. A Rugby career beckons I think. grin grin

lol. . . .I was just about to start a topic on Vidic

Jeez. . .the brother must be the luckiest bastard on earth.
The most unathletic defender to be given any sort of props. Kinda like errrr Laurent Blanc, and
Blanc was sure shown to be overated when he went to Barca. All this nonsense about smarts.
You can be smart all you want, but if you can't run you will be shown up sooner or later.

Ask Gary Pallister and Steve Bruce. . .they will tell you. Heralded in England for their smarts, they got their just deserts
when they went to the Nou Camp and faced Stoichkov and Romario.

Frankly. . .It simply shows the dearth of attacking talent in the world someone like Vidic is getting so much talk.
The chap wouldn't be able to stop me 1 on 1. cool cool

And on those stats. . .when I call u a neophyte, it would seem like I am being condescending.
But pray tell youngblood, when did those OPTA stats become any kind of watched commodity?

Berbatov's languid style is the reason many people think he is ineffective but look at his contribution to the team and you will know why Fergie has kept his faith with him. How many goals/assists has he copped in comparison to his strike partners??

I really couldn't care less about United, the whole Trafford should burn to the ground in my opinion, but I can't help but wonder what is going on in Duchess Fergie's head.

It is pretty obvious United are a lot smoother with Tevez up front, moreso than when Berbatov and his languid style is in the attack.

It kinda reminds me of his sale of Stam to Lazio seasons back, when that chap was at the height of his abilities, and his insistence on playing Blanc even when everyone could see the Frenchman couldn't hang.

Is the Tevez sidelining simply a reflection of the economic times and the need to eventually shed some wages or Fergie simply can't stand the wowo Argentine anymore? We all know how he treated Luke Chadwick and Phil Neville
Politics › 20 Months In, Yaradua Says He Has Finished The Planning Stage Of 7point Agenda by doyin13(op): 4:54pm On Mar 13, 2009
Meanwhile, Yar’Adua has taken further steps to quicken the pace of his administration with his approval of the work plans of the ministers who have now been given the marching order and the free hand to implement the policies of the government without recourse to the president.
“The planning for the seven-point agenda spanning about 20 months is over. The President's assent to the budget by the National Assembly (on Wednesday) signals take-off of implementation in earnest,” a minister told THISDAY.
All Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), especially critical infrastructure ministries, “are now ready with their work plans comprising time lines and deliverables”, he said.
Henceforth, the Federal Executive Council will deliberate more on progress reports by ministers than requests for approvals.
“To ease monitoring and evaluation, a little more than 90 per cent of the total capital expenditure is pumped into power, transport, commercial agriculture, aviation, works and housing, and petroleum.
“Education, health and police also enjoyed increases in the budget to boost human capital, improve our MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) performance and enhance internal security in most crime-infested cities in the country,” he said.
Homosexuals are violent beings. . . . .

The top six US. male serial killers were all gay:

• Donald Harvey claimed 37 victims in Kentucky;

• John Wayne Gacy raped and killed 33 boys in Chicago, burying them under his house and in his yard;

• Patrick Kearney accounted for 32, cutting his victims into small pieces after sex and leaving them in trash bags along the Los Angeles freeways

• Bruce Davis molested and killed 27 young men and boys in Illinois;

• A gay sex-murder-torture ring (Corll-Henley-Brooks) sent 27 Texas men and boys to their grave; and

• Juan Corona was convicted of murdering 25 migrant workers (he "made love" with their corpses)
.

Can Nigeria deal with these kinda people if they are allowed to roam freely in our society.

So people, contrary to the sensationalist headlines both from the President, the Speaker and the head of the Committee on Power, Obj only spent 3 billion dollars on power. That is a full 13 billion dollars less than the highest estimates on how much was spent on the NIPP project.

Its all well and good passing legislation that reflects the popular opinion on sexuality, but this is still a bad law, as bad as the Sharia code in the North or Madam Ekaete's legislation on female attires.

For one, I envisage the enforcement of the law will lead to all manner of injustices far in excess of the general disgust of the nation at homosexuals.

So becos many refer to Yoruba language even in the most minimal way,
they should be protestations as they are over the Igbo dominance of Nollywood.

From Production to distribution to retail, Nollywood is fundamentally Igbo. A few parochial

Politics › Re: I Think Lack Of Ideology Is Part Of Nigerian Politicians' Problems by doyin13(m): 4:20pm On Mar 10, 2009
@damiso

I understand the problems you identify, cross carpeting and so on, but I think the solution you propose will only muddy up the situation. I have always thought debates on ideology are often propagated by bored intellectuals and self interested journalists. Ultimately, politicians of whatever ideological hue respond to precepts that often do not include ideology.

Besides, how many constituents in the Nigerian polity understand the intricacies of liberalism or social democracy. There is no ideological divide when it comes to issues which affect our society. There is no left or right when it comes to corruption, the lack of electricity, water etc. That is why the character of the men and women whom we choose to elect is more important. A solid record of achievement or service is a better indicator of an individual worthy of a position of responsibility rather than what ideological position he purports to espouse.
