I might not be able to justify the test score affirmatively but i know for certain the test score is a strong determinant going into the interview. The final result is average of the test and interview.

And someone jokingly said you have to have a degree of Aptitude to work here that is why you take aptitude test and you've got to know what you would be working on that is why we have skill test. And excellent skill doesn't always give you the job if you spent the whole day being skillful without getting the job done on time. We need someone who has the right aptitude with the right skill set to complete the job as fast as possible. That is aptitude and it is hallmark of a Performer (smiles)

Lets forget all these debate. They know how and who they have given their jobs joor.

In all, every recruiter has what he prioritizes over the other. However, most recruiters will most likely skip aptitude test than interview. That doesn't render aptitude test useless or any less important. It is a matter of choice and convenience.

But you mentioned seismic, which from google I found out that it is measured with seismographs and magnetometer.

I think the surest bet in your case is to mention some of the instruments and the properties they measure. Or if there is a general term those instruments are called, you just mention it.

Bros, you should direct this question to the HR dept. DPR, and not here. Unless you have a date, a location, and a means on your mind, which you are free to share with us. And of course, with a sound logical reason.

We are just second-guessing. Someone said something about DPR/Oil and gas question. In my case i was asked a question asking me to advice a young secondary school student who wants to study my profession in higher institution. I wasn't asked any current affair but was asked to mention any two professional organisation linked to my profession. Ofcourse i was asked technical question too.

So it is not really about the question asked it is about soft skills and knowledge of subject.

Onyiridike is also right cos the APTITUDE test score was given greater percentage compared to the interview. You might come into the interview with a 60% test score it will be very hard to beat someone with 80% test score no matter how excellent your interview performance is and how average the interview of the 80% applicant was. And then we have the federal character to deal with.

So nobody can beat his/her chest and say i did well until the DPR themselves contacts...

If I may ask, how do you know that the test score was given a higher percentage in comparison to the test?

1. Mine started with No. 6, as I shared surname with one of their bosses, according to them. I was later cleared, as the said boss was from a different State.

4. Technical questions.

The truth is that in the first three categories above, we actually shared laughters, and some stories. But in the last question, they became extremely serious, and I had to adjust my own composure to match their's. They never mentioned it, but I got the impression that the technical area was the highlight of the interview.

What did Prince Richard do: He became the king of the two kingdoms, but he never restore the land belonging to Bakit. Why?


So now, you be the judge, between Mr. Albert and Prince Richard, who lacks TRUE INTEGRITY?

I'm sure that my message has been passed, but let look deeper into Gods' Word! God do sometimes change His Mind (Words), but does that mean that God lacks integrity? NEVER!!!!!!!!

In 2Kings 20 from verse 1, God has decreed through Prophet Isaiah that Hezekiah was going to die. But in verse 5 & 6 of same chapter, He (God) changed His mind!!!. Does that mean God does not have integrity?

Please analyze maturely before you criticize!

From your story, Mr Albert made his proclamation out of ANGER, while Mr Ferguson0709 made his statement based on his TRUST IN HIS SOURCE. Moreover, while Mr Albert's statement would have affected his subjects, Mr Ferguson0709's would have taken his own right to comment here away from himself. Do you now see the divergence?

When you proclaim a punishment against ANOTHER PERSON, and you later renege, we call it FORGIVENESS(or mercy). On the otherhand, when you make a statement against YOURSELF based on a certain premise, and your later renege, without proper explanation, then INTEGRITY is compromised.

In the future, try to check the fine details(contexts) of two different scenarios before making an analogy.

And finally, I don't think this an issue of criticism, but rather that of dialogue to establish a fact.

From the bolded, I came to understand you missed the message totally.

He NEVER said, or insinuated, you have no integrity, but rather that you appear to have so great an integrity which he will love to see you maintain.

a) whether L was assuming
b) whether D was assuming
c) the true assumption

The first to answer correctly stands a better chance of getting his/her APL.

Oga you are very wrong by that your calculations.You did not take into consideration the Quality Pionts(QP) of each of the sessions.

For instance, assuming the 3.82 is for one session, if for the 3.82 gpa for 1st year her total credit unit was 40, then her QP=40*3.82 =152.8
For Year 2, total CU was 42, QP =42*4.3 =180.6.
For year 3, total CU was 36, QP =36*4.7 =169.2.
For Year 4, total CU was 28, QP=28*4.8 =134.4. For Year 5, total CU was 34, QP=34*4.9 =166.6.
Total CU =40+42+36+28+34=180.02
Total QP =152.8+180.6+169.2+134.4+166.6 =803.6
CGPA=803.6/180.02 =4.46

So, you can see that the distribution of the credit units and the Quality Pionts matter.

saying "i know chairman" doesnt mean you really know him, very very few people know these guys. and you have to know them personally for them to divulge such information to you.and i believe few people have access to commisioners at state level. thats why you see people contradictiing themselves about COC because the FCC staffs they rely on were not in the joint meeting when COC was/wasn't issued. once they see the commisioners coming out they will just speculate and tell their wards wats up without first hand knowledge of what transpired in the meeting.

You are very much on point. These guys are not everyday people you meet and they'll start spilling the beans to you.

However, because we are in a country where regulations and ethics are often flouted, sensitive materials would always get to the wrong hands. And before long, they become public files.

What he is trying to say is that: the HR(DPR ) wields more power, in a recruitment process, than the Chairman (Director of DPR ), just like the 'Committee in charge' (FCC) has more influence in the issuance of COC than the Chairman of FCC.

Let me first of all say that I believed you when you said successful hopefuls would be called on or before June 10. As a matter of fact, I'm still expecting that to happen before the day runs out.

However, I will like to advice you, in case of any future events, to always put a factor of uncertainty in your predictions. Even if you are the one to make the decision, always remember that there are some variables in life that are beyond one's control, which are, sometimes, unforeseen during predictions. Life in itself is a probability, let a lone the events in it.

As the saying goes, 'there are uncertainties between the teaspoon and the mouth'.
