Promicah: I feel overwhelmed by what just happened.
A little background information: I lived and studied in Ogun precisely before my called-up letter came. I saw Abia in my call-up letter and the next thought that crowded my mind was the hatred projected during the just concluded election.
Since I had no connection, I chose my fate and had to skip my reporting date to camp. After losing every hope of redeployment, I decided to follow the next batch.
Our driver stopped in Lokoja and we rested before we continue the next day to Abia.
I had to make a plan that when I have money, I will buy their native wear to disguise myself. Immediately I stopped at the Abia park, I entered the next bus to the orientation camp.
After our three weeks in camp, I reported to my PPA.
Yesterday, I wanted to get a recharge card from a kiosk beside the road and I met an Igbo man. He looked at me and immediately fear gripped me.
He asked me whether I was new in the area, I wanted to lie and say "no". But my mouth betrayed me.
He smiled and bought the item in the attached picture below.
What happened to us? I had to repent. Truly Nigerians are loving people. I couldn't contain my joy.
This is my first time in the southeast and just this singular act from yesterday has changed a lot about how I see Nigerians.
I know there are a lot of agitations but yesterday a Nigerian showed kindness to a Nigerian. It's officially my 1 month and 15 days in Abia.
Sir Nlfpm.od. This is my latest experience.
Be careful.I served in Abia state. They are cannibals.Once again,be very careful.

This demise was confirmed by one of his colleagues, Mr Mayor Ofoegbu, who is also a well-known movie director in Nollywood.
According to the information gathered, the actor, who prominently plays the role of an Igwe (king) in movies, passed on in his sleep last night.
Mr Ofoegbu, who posted a quote, “Plan for tomorrow but live for today. Tomorrow is not guaranteed,” accompanied this with a condolence message.
“I wrote those lines on my WhatsApp status yesterday evening. My man, my 5 & 6, Don Brymo Uchegbu, passed in his sleep.
“I received the shocking news this morning and had to verify from his family. Chai! Don Brymo my manchi. It’s had to say goodbye. Nnukwu nwa na Enugu ukwu,” he posted.

If a man can’t give me enough of these 4 things I listed above in my marriage, I’ll gladly divorce him.
BTW, the lady should be happy that the ERROR called marriage has ended. A better man who would appreciate and respect her career must surely locate her.
You are already an old woman. Continue consoling yourself.
MetaPhysical: Here are some fun facts. You downplay Great Ibo at your risk.
For your information Gov AbdulRazaq mother is Ibo. His wife's father is Ibo. Their housemaid is Ibo. Moreover, their son is dating a girl from Awka, capital of Anambra.
Gov Makinde himself is a grandson of an Ibo migrant. Then to top it, his wife is from Oraifite Autonomous Village in Anambra State.
You Yorubas think you are in charge, but it is really Great Ibos controlling the scene front, back and center.
Governor Adeleke of Osun, mother Ibo, wife is Ibo. Governor Akeredolu of Ondo, his middle name is Emeka, given by his Ibo grandfather. His wife, Betty Anyanwu is Ibo. Ogun Governor Abiodun, can't you see how his skin is yellow? Yoruba dey yellow like that? His origin is Nsukka sector. I know his great grandfather.
Even Lagos una carry on top head, Governor Sanwo Olu was born in Iboland. He met his wife in Iboland. Their youngest child has an iboman for godfather. Did you not know that former governor Ambode was the son of an Ibo woman? When Tinubu discovered thats why they kicked him out.
Are you aware Akiolu son is planning to marry Ibo? Seyi Tinubu id already married to Ibo. We know Obasanjo father is Ibo already.
Ibo own entire South from East to West. .
By this time next week, President Tinubu will be in Aso Rock. Let the 7 days owambe begin.
TreasureJunky: That's Yoruba for you,, very tribalistic, even when their saviour is near to them, they will use tribalistic attitude to scare him away. Lazy set of human beings, always wanting to reap where they didn't sow. Cooperative beggars
depz: I wish they shot the idiot instantly. Open phone you're forming boss. You can't try that nonsense abroad. American police tell you to open your phone and you do anyhow, they will blast your two left legs, nonsense. Good job from those officers but they should have shot one of his legs.
Na Ogun go kill your sons and daughters during their youth. Stupid fool!
Built2last: Nigerians in Sudan are mostly Northerners studying Islamic courses
There are many airlines owned by Northerners
The president is a Northerner.
The African richest man is a Northern.
But,
It is the chairman of Airpeace, Allen Onyema, AN IGBO MAN, who has AGAIN, in his characteristic manner, volunteered to use his planes to bring back Nigerians trapped in war-torn Sudan.
Nigerians from North and South are praising him to high havens, calling him a patriot.
Ironically, IF the same Allen Onyema decides to run for president of Nigeria tomorrow, these same Nigerians praising him today will tell him that he is IPOB and cannot rule Nigeria. Even the people he brought back will tell him that they rather vote one of their own even if he's on wheelchair.
Whatever you do as an Igbo man in today's Nigeria, always remember that IGBOPHOBIA is alive and well. In fact, there is a sense in which it can be argued that that is the major oxygen sustaining the Nigerian state.
The late literary god Chinualumogu Albert Achebe was right;
"Nigerians will probably achieve consensus on no other matter than their common resentment of the Igbo."

ChEkWaSIyKe: This is nothing but the truth. Wether Nigerians like it or not, an Igbo Presidency is the only way forward for Nigeria to witness a 360° turn around. Wether igbos rule Nigeria or not, they have absolutely nothing to lose and will continue to remain above other region in education, business, wealthy and lot more.

7david7: Good morning my people, I am writing you people at this delicate hour of 12:39am because my son's condition, it's getting worse by the day.
Dandruff wants to kill this beautiful boy, I know it's weird because we all know, myself included that dandruff doesn't kill, but watching myself lose a part of my son everyday.
He's been suffering from this condition for over 6yrs now, we've gone to the hospital and after buying and using all the prescribed drugs (Nizoral shampoo, selsun blue, head and shoulders, tea tree oil, miconazole cream, ketoconazole cream, terbinafine cream, fluconazole tablet, terbinafine tablet: almost killed my son, griseofulvin etc) nothing has changed, instead it's getting worse by day.
From complaining of headaches, to weakness (my son that was filled with energy and plays all the time now barely moves, he is always one place complaining of tiredness and pain), to joint pains, to confusion.
According to him, this dandruff has ate up his scalp so much that he can now taste his bathing soap on his tongue the moment he washes his head. We are now scared of washing and applying anything on his head because he will complain of tasting whatever we put on his head in his mouth and he will start having reactions. It's almost as if the skin on his scalp no longer protects him from outside soaps and other ingredients.
The moment he washes his head, his lips and tongue will swell up and he will start having reactions. My once active and lovely boy is now a shadow of himself. He's refusing to play, always complaining of tiredness and pains.
Pls help me my people, I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried every hospital and everything, I've done all I know, and now I'm watching my son deteriorate gradually before my very eyes without having a clue what to do, pls I beg you, help him, help me.
This is not dandruff. It is a fungal dermatophytosis. Get terbinafine 187.5 mg once daily for 7 wewks. Tab erythromycin 250mg 3 times daily for 10 days. Tab Vit C use 1 daily for 2 months. MY BELLE O, MY HEAD O!!! Do you still remember this Yoruba Actor called JAGUA?
Chief James Afolabi Afolayan MON, MFR popularly known as Jagua was born 4th July 1946 in Iludun-Oro kwara state Nigeria.
He managed on his own to finish secondary education but his journey into entertainment started when he was just 8years old in his paternal hometown Iludun-Oro where he formed the Iludun-Oro Jolly Mambo. It was a singing group.
The young Afolabi then go about adding spice to social gatherings by singing.. Yes he was a singer and a great dancer too.
He did this for some years until he met the doyen of Nigeria theatre, the iconic Hubert Ogunde.
James Afolabi learnt that Chief Ogunde and his group will be performing in Esie so he made plans to be there, saved up some money from selling bush meat so he could make it to the show.
On getting there he was intrigued by Chief Ogunde's musical rendition and decided he was going to move to Lagos to have chief train him in music.
James Afolabi whose family was mainly into buying and selling expressed his desire to go fully into music to his family and they never objected despite the fact that such professions was seen as mainly for the "never do well" in those days.
Few days after a family member brought young Afolabi to Lagos and they headed to Chief Ogunde's office and joined a very long queue of people wanting to join the group.
Eventually it was Afolabi Afolayan's turn to audition and though baba Ogunde thought he was very young, he also saw that he was very determined. He then handed daddy to his first wife saying " Gba omo e ni" ( take him, he is your child)
Afolabi said he never knew baba Ogungbe was also into acting. He said he admired his stage presence.
Afolabi said for him as a young person it was divine whenever baba graced the stage.
Afolabi Afolayan considers Baba Ogunde as a father and his first wife who took him in a mother.
He was with Chief Ogunde and family for 2years (1960-1962).
Afolabi Afolayan also trained under Akinsola Ogungbe before he teamed up with his friend Ishola Ogunsola aka Isho Pepper to form the Afolayan Ogunsola Theatre group in 1964.
Afolabi was the main singer and instrumentalist in the group while Ishola composed more of the stage performances.
The performances was rendered in Yoruba language. Besides other productions, I remember they did "Iyawo alalubosa"together...back then, it was quite popular.
Besides music, 'Folabi( like his friends and family calls him)was known to be the fun guy at every gathering.
He just loves making people laugh and as time goes on he realizes he seem to be more interested in the comedy aspect of acting and went for it.
He met very young Elyzar Taylor a Sierraleonian who was still a student at the time.
It was Elyzar who gave him the stage name Jagua and advised him to act in pidgin English as that will cut across every tribe and make them more widely accessible.
Jagua also called Elyzar Grace on stage. That was how Jagua play Group was born.
They had their first major television show in 1968 with RKTV Kaduna.
Jagua and Grace got married in 1970. Grace was juggling marriage and the group while still in school.
With God by their side and love from friends and fans who we see as family, the Jagua brand became widely accepted.
Jagua comedy was in all the NTA stations, was in almost every Nigerian home.
It is devoid of vulgar languages...you don't have to send your children to bed because you want to watch Jagua...it is actually a family programme and many children look up to it.
Jagua comedy entertained and educated most of us via TV screens and live stage performances.
They were also involved in charity causes.
They entertained the less privileged for free, raised money to champion charitable causes, entertained our troops abroad (ECOMOG).
In the very early years of Nollywood, Jagua and his group made some home videos which was released in VHS cassettes but most of his works are with the NTA.
Jagua was recognised by the Nigerian government for his works hence his national honours.
As a father, he was a great father and friend.
The laughter never stops on stage. He was the best. He died Oct 5th 2000.
23years on, we still hear his signature tune "my belle ooo my head o"
GOTVee: Even though I'm a born again Christian, i apologize to Nigerians of other faiths on behalf of we Nigerian Christians for the shameful Yes Daddy phone call allegedly made by Peter Obi. Such doesn't represent the position of we Christians and never again shall we present such a divisive candidate for future elections. Congratulations to President Elect Bola Tinubu, may your reign bring prosperity for we Christians in Jesus name. Amen.

Emmadoc: A lady caught her husband cheating in the matrimonial with his mistress. The mistress escaped unscathed through the balcony with the help of his neighbors.
iamrealdeji: Anything goes in the world of Christianity, she can't even cover her hair. I love we Muslims, after bathing in the morning,we must wash our bodies 5 times before our 5 times prayer,if a drop 💧 of urine drops on our cloth or a dog touches our cloth,it's unacceptable for prayer,we have to wash it,if we fart during prayer,we must break it and perform ablution again and start the prayer over again,if we Urinate,we must rinse our private part, also a private part that isn't rinsed makes our prayer invalid. If we drink alcohol, our prayer is unacceptable for 40 days and that is a great sin to Allah. We must emulate prophet Muhammad in all or almost all the things we do which we call Sunnah. From his neatness by wearing trousers that doesn't touch the ground and above ankle, beards to look masculine, that's why an Arab would rarely shave all his beards,it's Sunnah, wearing white JALABIYA like Arabs do is Sunnah, dressing the same way with poor people is Sunnah, sitting on the floor rather than chair is Sunnah, that's why Arabs use flat Arabic sofa that looks like they seat on the floor in sitting room, eating with our hands and no spoon Is Sunnah, prophet wants us to humble ourselves ,our women must emulate our mother Aisha(Prophet's wife)in almost all or everything.. Women acquiring education is Sunnah because Aisha completed her memorization of entire Quran 3 months after Prophet received last chapter of Quran from Allah, later that year,Prophet died and Aisha became an Islamic teacher till age 73. Opposite sex must not stare at each other more than once,no touch,no praying and holding hands with opposite sex like christians do in church,we can't even be in the same room in mosque,I rarely see or know any woman that comes to my mosque and Prophet said it's more rewarding for a woman to pray at home than mosque but more rewarding for men to pray at the mosque than home. Arabs use the Quranic law and constitution and that's the reason why Dubai,Qatar,Saudi,Kuwait, etc are enjoying their life and their citizens so moral. May Allah bless our Prophet Muhammad, the greatest man to ever exist and none can be like him forever
