peziz:Busted!!! U should be reported to mama demerit ![]() |
Love Merlin...doesn't muck about. I started laughing immediately Vinnie Jones was confirmed as the killer of Merlin's wife. |
justi4jesu:U see his reply already Dubai people will fear when they start seeing secondary school students applying for visa ![]() @ Justwise Killed it |
justi4jesu:Lol. He might be close to or over 40 u know ![]() |
Yet our leaders come up with silly excuses why things are still the way they are. All these promising lives cut short in their prime. So sad |
suxxman:Hahahaha...well it was the 'King Kong' incident that brought out that emotion from the commander. From the prrview last week, I was wondering what could make the commander shout "run" like that. King Kong wasn't on my list of possibilities at all. Fear of death can bring out all sorts of emotions. Before king kong, commander's mantra was "love is weakness"...one episode later with king kong, she's making I-love-u face (according to suxxmann o) ![]() |
suxxman:Since u mentioned it, I can't stop remembering the face of the commander while she was apologising to Clark for saying she's becoming weak. There's a kind of emotion she displayed that's never came up before that moment in her eyes. I imagine u grinning while reading this lol ![]() |
suxxman:Very open indeed...by turning the two leaders of two worlds into lesbos . |
badoo1000:That's sad |
badoo1000:So he wants a total of 200k for Dubai 3 months visa? Correct me if I'm wrong sir. |
Sentiments aside, this is a nice piece from Prof. Soludo. Whatever issues he has with Jonathan, Obi and the rest of them shouldn't be used to wave off the important points he raised. When Nigerians start to get a glimpse of the dark economic days the reign of Jonathan has plunged us into, then they will begin to see the havoc he has wrecked. He had everything in his possession to turn around the fortunes of Nigeria but he squandered it. I pointed out to anyone who cared to listen back then not to vote for him cos if he couldn't prove himself in the first two years, he surely won't ever. The same thing is happening all over again now after putting the country in deeper mess than he met it...and nobody should tell me he brought trains back from wherever. |
I wonder what Jonathan was doing while Sambo was saying these words to the people...acting dumb I guess. He doesn't understand the hausa language but I expect him to be smart enough to have an idea of what's going around him. Hmm...'smart' and 'Jonathan' just appeared in the same sentence. That's the problem |
onyenro:The 'ban' isn't a ban in real terms and it had nothing to do with the ebola outbreak. Many people (including) have been traveling to and fro during and after the ebola thing without any drama linked to it. They only reduced the issuance of fresh visas or make the procedure more difficult. It's a mix-bag of so many things which isn't easy to explain in simple terms mostly. @ Gooci My honest advice is consider ur options very well. Getting a driving license isn't a walk in the park in these parts. If u want to venture into it as a fresh person, make sure u have a solid financial backing from Nigeria without much pressure especially in these era of the dollar taking the naira to the cleaners. The pressure of studying and focusing on the training itself is enough. Adding the anxiety/worry of finance to it may affect u negatively. Don't forget that there's no assurance that the person will get it on first attempt even after spending so much. Which ever u look at it, I can assure u that u will spend over 200k naira on the project. Wish u all the best in whatever decision u take |
***sets up camp*** Great show...nice soundtrack. Feels like Hunger Games in series format sometimes ![]() |
The headache of getting a drivers' license in these two countries Hmm... ![]() |
Nice episode of The Flash. Flash meets Prison Break ![]() |
basit322:Ordinarily, anyone with a 'fake' Qatar visa shouldn't even board from Nigeria cos it is supposed to be confirmed by the airline before boarding. Yes, there have been cases where they send people with valid visit visas back from the airport here. Sometimes it goes on for days when they are really pissed off. Doesn't matter if the person is a first time traveller |
@ OP This comparison won't work on so many levels. Consider certain things 'peculiar' to Nigeria mostly because of the level of rot in the system. 1. Is quality of gasoline in Nigeria the same with what they get in the U.S? No 2. What's the earning power of an average individual in each country? 3. What's the level of development in each country? Don't forget that almost every family is it's own 'local government' in Nigeria. U practically have to produce your own water and electricity amongst other things. 4. Is the level of infrastructure in the oil and gas sector commensurate with the level of resources available in Nigeria? 5. Are Nigerians getting the best out of a liter of gasoline like the Americans? Not with the level of older engines running in the country and the substandard quality of fuel definitely. 6. Is the current level of oil production in the U.S sustainable over a long period of time? I doubt it. Shale oil / fracturing is one of the major reasons why certain OPEC member-states (chiefly KSA and Qatar) have allowed the free fall of crude oil prices to continue unchecked. When you consider these two countries are also strong allies of the U.S, you see it's quite a complex situation. Just this past week, John McCain led a delegation to Qatar to discuss certain issues with the Emir and Prime Minister. I bet the politics of crude oil pricing was part of their major talks. These are just some of the things to consider (amongst many others) before you 'celebrate' the reduction in fuel prices in Nigeria. If our leaders are honest, there's no reason why Nigerians should be paying above 50 naira per liter worst case scenario. Factor in the timing of the Nigerian government in doing this and it's very obvious it shouldn't be considered as a genuine decision. They devalued the Naira and then reduce fuel pump price by 10 naira days to major elections. Nigerians should brace up for serious economic challenges this year because the government is just window-dressing a very terrible wound. Irrespective of whoever wins the coming elections, the Naira is still heading downwards. Figures alone don't always tell the true story of things. |
