If what I've been reading on this thread are the opinions of the youths of this country then I feel most of the youths are not thinking well as people who want to take over the rulership ogf this country tomorrow. Baba have written some lines about his deputy while in power telling us what we did not know and never envisaged has happened. As youths who want to be leaders of tomorrow all we ought do is read, understand every bit and digest and not just follow polliticians who will tell you what you want to hear but shielding the truth from you. I believe in studying events at it unfolds.

U have highlighted a very serious problem we are facing as a nation. We don't read! Some of the things that are inside the book have been said before by OBJ. He has challenged these people in public but what did they do? After denying and raining abuses on the man, they go back to beg him. I think that should give us alot to ponder on. It means we shouldn't just wave these things off. Atiku, IBB, Tinubu, PDP govs, etc have all openly or stylishly begged this man. He should spill everything

Your question is betraying your age. This was a Nigerian Army General in civilian government. This people are trained not to forgive disloyalty and double dealing in any shape or form.
Only Abacha, IBB, Buhari, Ojukwu, Gowon, Mohammed and other former military heads of states are the other ones who can understand what was at play here. Nigerian military generals don't understand and cannot abide disloyalty. It was drilled into them from a young age and they have seen death of friends and family in coups and counter coups in the 60s and 70s. Obasanjo will also never forgive GEJ for promising everybody he begged on his behalf from the north only one term in office. Whether it is right or wrong not to forgive or not is besides the point. The man remains unforgiven, you cannot negotiate a permanent thing.
This Obasanjo man is very dangerous, he is actually very bitter with a lot of people, Atiku and GEJ are prominent among them. He is in his late seventies, has seen everything, heard everything and does not give a damn even if the entire Nigerian fraudulent political system has to crash down around him. I think we should be thankful for that.

There are many things that go on behind the scene in Nigeria that the masses don't information to. This is a very good opportunity to discover some of these things. OBJ isn't a saint. Hate or love him, he's not someone to underestimate. Even Dokubo once said he hates him (obviously) but he's not an enemy Jonathan should have. OBJ is a proverbial cat and fox rolled into one. Understand the qualities of those two animals and get an idea of what he is. He's not clean but u can't take being a strategist away from him. Asides that, let's be honest...how many of us can actually speak out to mount pressure on the FG irrespective of who's President. I doubt they ever hear our voices. They are so disconnected from what is really happening in the streets. OBJ will pay for his sins as everyone else but that's not to say he should be quiet no matter the reasons. Let them publish all they want to about themselves. Unfortunately, our reading habit isn't so good so we may never extract enough from them to build a better future

The information he gave isn't correct and I immediately asked him to enlighten me more on it. I assume he missed my request or just ignored it.

The 5 years visa itself is a work visa. It is the residence permit and I.D card that's renewed yearly. The major changes to the immigration laws in Qatar are being expected early next year and that may even be delayed in getting implemented. I don't know where he got the information on 2 work permit.

Also when u called, what part of the globe did the responder sound likely to come from? There are so many questions and we could go on and on.

Yes sir. I'm not saying it isn't a scam. I only pointed out some things to help the person understand what we are telling him. Qatar is a mix-bag of so many things. Understand that a scam is usually built on seemingly and even sometimes proven possible events/incidents. That's why people will keep falling for these scams. Sometimes, it's not enough to just tell the person "it is a scam". U have to really explain and sink it into their consciousness valid points and reasons why it is a scam. That said, I only differed with on ur point of wages for Americans/Brits around here. 8000 riyals won't make an American/Brit get on a plane down here to sign a job contract. Europeans from even poorer countries won't take that as well as some Nigerians

The truth is that the situation painted in the letter isn't what u will get when u arrive. There are companies that do give jobs like that but when u arrive, the accomodation won't be what u expected and the 2200 quoted salary will be in riyals if at all it is real in the first place. As for the visa fee, it's usually the agents and some people in the companies that pocket the money. There are so many angles to the whole thing but the bottomline is that the deal isn't true.

Hello... I get u are trying to point Igboin in the right direction but let me just point out that the wages for British guys and Americans are way above what u claimed. 2200 dollars is just about 8000 riyals and that's within the bracket of what alot of Nigerians earn here. Many other Nigerians also earn more than double / tripple of that figure. No British guy or American will be employed with that kind of salary here. Some Nigerians won't even accept such an offer.

I've downloaded Blacklist and Silicon Valley but not sure when I'd be able to watch them. All these series can be quite overwhelming. So many of them.
Felicity Smoak, League of Assasins and Merlyn are the major characters that keeps me hooked to Arrow. I hate the way Oliver has been in one silly relationship with almost all the girls...even sisters . They paint it like it's a normal thing that's acceptable. The annoying thing is that he's going to date Felicity Smoak too
Downloading Da Vinci's Demon already too...wasn't really keen on it but I read a few lines about the plots used and think it's worth a try.
