You are the Lord, let Your Name be glorified! We give You glory, and honour You are the Lord, let Your Name be glorified! Skimpy, my darling. I thank God for you! God is truly the God of the 11th hour, and He still has a lot of 11th hour surprise packages to give out on this thread. I wish you happy and healthy 9 months. The cramps you are having are common. It's part of the package. However, if you think they are out of hand, see your doctor. In fact, see your doctor today to get your levels checked and monitored. The ONLY thing you should take on your own, apart from your prenatals, might be a progesterone supplement. Biko nne, no major pain killers now, everybody's body is very different in pregnancy. If the pain is too much, lie down, drink some warm tea. It will pass. God, please surprise us with more 11th hour bfps! |
Twinnie, plssss try Colcannon. Try. Just. Once. |

Welcome Yosi5. May your stay here be short and sweet. Hmmm, the issue of your DH not wanting to test is more common than you think o. Guys process this in different ways. Put it in prayer, give him a little time, then present it in a sweet way, with your womanly wiles. Having his sister and your doctor talk to him is not the way to go. Like sub_zidi said, it's btw u and him. Good luck! |
Ipio, welcome to my world. I always over indulge on colcannon, especially when it's sweet potatoes. Iyabeta, lol. Welcome, but no stress yaself ooo. |
Bajoba, if u mean 6 days after the end of af, then yes, it could be O. How long is your af? Did you use an opk? Or can you do a follicular scan? The pain varies from person to person, but for it to prevent you from going to work? I think you should do a scan to see. |

Twinnie, see am ooo. You can do this for fish as well. You will have to cover the fish in foil to prevent dryness, as it doesn't have the fatty skin chicken has. AlwaysTrue, it's obvious that you're busy. I think that's your shortest post on NL. Lol |
Daisycol, you don't determine your ovulation day like that. That is standard textbook ovulation. In real life, lots of women don't ovulate on the 14th day, or even half way. Ovulation can be much earlier, or later than the standard 14 day description. To be sure, get opks, chart your bbt, or do follicular scanning. You can start testing by cd10, and you chart throughout your cycle. Good luck. |
Moyin, send address sharply! |

@Muma, u wan use style yab me abi? The one wey wannabeamum and venuss use me do never do? Lol! Biko, no go late ooo. My hand is not there. Lmao. Colcannon is a potato recipe. It's potatoes, cabbage, onions, etc... Will post it 2mrw. @Uteh...that's the problem. The longer it stays out, the harder it gets. Wow! I'm sorry it was wasted. Mine took less than 10 minutes to boil. |
Venuss, God bless you. Thank you. Liz, he won't finish saying all the things he ate at yours. Biko practice well jare! Olaitan, acv won't stop anything, don't worry. Even if you're not following every detail of the challenge, just incorporate healthy foods, swap out the junk. |
Twinnie and our other Lag sisters, pls have you ever come across flax seeds in any of those stores? |
Twinnie, God bless you! You've paid Iyabetajos' favour to you forward to Lizzy. Now Lizzy will pay it forward to someone else. God will bless you Twinnie Uteh, what happened with the bean pasta? What was wrong? For the smoothies, you use a base of water or milk, no sifting. For juicing without a juicer, blend with a little water, then sift. Lol@akara! Men cannot kill me. Ninz, tiger nuts are also called aki hausa. Liz, pls leave me ooo. All this grammar on top of ACV. Wahala dey o! Alwaystrue, I love bone broth. I use it as a base for egg drop soup, and other things. |

SkimpyChick, welcome. You can jump right in, just read the rules on the first page relating to when to eat somethings in your cycle. Start, and continue for the next 30 days. Yummmm, smoothies! |
This seems really easy www.food.com/recipe/chicken-goulash-325271 |
Yes Liz, you can mix and match to suit you. |
Week 2. I made a change. I'm listing all the meals for the week. It's really up to you to decide what to eat on monday, tuesday, etc. The important thing is to eat these meals in week 2. Pls don't forget to hydrate, don't forget your lemon water, your grapefruit, your acv, etc. Week 2 Breakfast Pumpkin pie oatmeal Spanish omelette Coconut oatmeal Pumpkin pancakes Banana oatmeal Oat pancakes Banana pancakes Lunch Palm oil chicken and beans Sweet potato and greens Okro and fufu Vegetable soup and fufu Edikang Ikong and fufu Colcannon Dinner Baked chicken and chips Sesame oil chicken Refried beans Braised chicken paprika Cabbage rolls Moi moi and oatmeal Vegetable yam |
Liz, I don't miss ice cream o with those shakes. You can also try pumpkin in place of the banana. You boil the pumpkin first, then freeze and blend. You have to add a little honey to sweeten sha, but it's delicious. Then try adding a little cocoa powder and honey to the banana shake. Or add peanut butter...the possibilities are endless. For the apple/cucumber, I prefer peeling the cucumber, but you don't have to. |
AlwaysTrue, plssss, more ideas ooo. I decided to make very simple rolls. Twinnie, u r the bomb! I can see that one banana muffin is already gone. Lol. |
