Where do I start? May God continue to be glorified on this thread. Echala, big congratulations! I wish you h&h 9 months. No harm shall come to you or baby, and you will carry to term.

Pinky, pls relax first. As someone said, don't wait for a progesterone test. I would suggest Gestone shots as soon as possible, or, Cyclogest if you can lay hands on it, just to take care of that angle. I hope you're no more rolling fondant o, pls don't, no cake stuff for now, just relax pls.
Above all, God will see you through, trust!

Mummy3D, welcome. May your stay here be short and sweet. Hugs.

AlwaysTrue, but you know now...4sure! Thank you, I really appreciate you. Omo, your food ideas na die.

Safe, hmmm, no comment o. Wey my ram meat? Eku ojo meta.

Venuss, have you tested first? Hmmm, see me behind closed doors for further discussion- I dey look you with corner eye. Lol.

@Ngchuks, they seem pretty big, and should require surgery (divine or physical). If you do opt for surgery, it's nothing to be afraid of, and a LOT of people get pregnant the first 2 cycles after myomectomy. Hugs!

500g chicken, chopped
1 medium onion, diced
4 carrots, sliced thinly lengthwise
50g green beans
1 egg, beaten
2 cups of cooked brown rice
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 teaspoons of salt
6 atarodo, chopped
1 double stock cube
1 bunch of spring onions (green part only) – chopped

Sauteé chicken with 1 teaspoon of salt for about 8 minutes.

Once cooked, remove from pan and reserve.

In the same wok, add onions and chopped pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Add carrots and green beans

Stir fry for about 2 minutes.

Move the veggies to the outside of the wok, and
in the middle, add the egg.

Using a wooden spoon, quickly stir the egg to scramble.

Add the brown rice, cooked chicken, stock cube and 1 teaspoon of salt.

Leave for 4 minutes

Add spring onions, stir and serve immediately.

Alwaystrue, thank you for starting us off with scripture. Hugs!

Liz, see how Venuss and Waistbead answer sharply. My suggestion is: since Venuss asked for 2 heartbeats, do 2 days fasting for both of them, then add 1 more day for Waistbead. Lol

@zeezzy, Amen!

@honeypiegirl, juice one lemon and add to a cup of water (not a glass, measuring cup), add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, it will start to fizz and foam. When it stops, drink it. You do this first thing in the morning. It helps to alkalize the body, making CM less hostile to swimmers. It's also really good for UTI.
Pls note that lemon juice is not a direct substitute for ACV, ACV has a few more benefits over lemon juice. Pls refer to the rules on the first page regarding consumption of lemon juice in your cycle.

@MoyinOluwa, welcome...jump right in! Twinnie is right, cod is dried panla.

@Twinnie, lolzzzz. My hand is not there o. I'm glad you liked it.
Food / Re: Recipes For The Fruitful Home by Dreamsinbc(f): 8:46pm On Oct 31, 2013
Liz, yes you can continue to use till you get the acv. Even when the acv comes, continue to drink your lemon water first thing.

Yes, the part of the pineapple I refer to in the smoothies and juices above is the flesh.

The core is for 1-5dpo. Unless you have a high-speed blender, eat the core as is.
Buy a big pineapple, cut out the core, and divide into 5. Eat one everyday 1-5dpo (bromelain things).

Haaa, MamaT give me serious warning about the recipes o...no oyibolizing!

Hello, Gloriana, yes, the diet is formulated to suit all everyone, including women with fibroids, PCOS, and Endo.

I don't think cinnamon has ibo/yoruba name, but it's a very common spice, sold packaged in powder and stick forms. You can find it in big stores everywhere, or in shops that sell cake things.

@Twinnie, to store pumpkin after cutting, just remove the seeds and store in the fridge. It will last about 10 days. I just finished looking for Quinoa in Dunes, they are out, and that's the only place I've seen it. I can help you get Bulgur, if you like. E boku!
The half cup of oats isn't bad at all. U try. I don't know about honeywell couscous o. It should be written sha if it is.

@Honeypiegirl, no problem, it should be up in the next hour

Udoka, as you said, na torchlight we use find bfp here. My people say 'something wey remain 1 don finish'. Ask God for His will to be done, biko. If He wills 38 weeks, beautiful, if He still wills 40 weeks, wonderful! Don't be tempted to induce yourself...enjoy the remaining time.

Kaynee, pls don't beat yourself up. The worst thing you can do to yourself is wonder 'what if?'. Just arm yourself with the necessary info for the bfp you will soon announce. Progesterone is not the be all and end all of a healthy pregnancy, sometimes it's our immune systems fighting. Thanks Beetle!

@Favoured gal, me and you both, If I have headache, I go to earthclinic.com, diarrhea-internet, when I had a kidney infection- I diagnosed myself on google before going to the hospital. @Udoka, please let your friend do the relevant research, don't offer her the medicine o, just ask her to scour the net and read other peoples' experiences.

I know this is old, but in case you still have the stones, mix the juice of half a lemon and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add 1/2 cup of warm water and drink once a day. Within 3 days, you should pass the stone painlessly

Uteh, you know what? Make the oats for him, maybe on saturday or sunday, to try it out. I'm not talking about the oatmeal o, I mean the baked muffins. You might be surprised.

Please look for soyless sesame oil. Please.
Food / Re: Recipes For The Fruitful Home by Dreamsinbc(f): 6:18pm On Oct 29, 2013
Uteh, my people talk say person wey ask question no dey miss road. Oyster sauce and worcestershire sauce are sauces used to flavour food, much like soy sauce. You can find them in any good supermarket.

For your dh, have you checked out the oat recipes? Also look into beans, wheat couscous, plantains, and bulgur. Bulgur is cracked parboiled wheat. You should also find it in good stores.

Thank you for the compliment, I'm very grateful
Food / Re: Recipes For The Fruitful Home by Dreamsinbc(f): 11:59am On Oct 29, 2013
Twinnie, LMHO! Too much of it is fattening. And it might purge you, cos of all the fibre. Trust me, I've done it before (12 in a row). You are hereby on oat probation for the next 3 days grin

No be say you talk, they are addictive. I just put 3 or 4 on a small saucer (it will look plenty), then wrap the rest for the freezer. By the time I finish eating the ones I took (slowly, while watching tv), if I'm tempted to take more, they are already almost frozen, so I don't just bother.

@MamaT, no wonder o. Just wanted to put up a few recipes so that the menu table will make small sense
