HARDDON: DRILL NUGGET 1B
WHY ARE NICE GUYS BORING?
Cos they have no Life of their own! they put the happiness of ladies above theirs and let Jrod and emotions rule them at will!
and as the Ladies would put it: they are just too PREDICTABLE! I will tackle u on this one. Guy u call nice guys boring but I call them special. There's nothing wrong with being a nice guy. I was one too and got kicked around alot. I changed my strategy became an asshole and dealt with lots of girls, lots of em. Toward the end of hanging my booth I came across a chick that tried to commit sucide cos I moved on. Its a long story but suffice it say that scene thought me a lesson I will never forget and after I learnt that lesson it made me more humane to women. She tried to, infact attempted to stop living, we lost her twice and I and a college of mine then did everything within our power to resuscitate her and bring her back to life. After we stabilized her and got her heart kicking again, I stopped sleeping with her completely and tried everything in my power to keep to that which was rare for me them. I supported her in her career of choice and helped her move herself forward in life. I wasn't dating her anymore by then and told her that but she refused to accept it. She always came to clean my place and wash my clothes till I stopped her doing those. I stopped staying at my place and started hanging around friends alot to make sure she understood the point. Still she hung around me alot whenever she happened on me. She begged me many times to marry her but I made her understand it will only spoil our friendship cos she was by then closeto me. My living the country solved that problem for me and as things happened she wedded someone else which made me so happy. She still calls till today and this happened more than 10 years ago. Being a nice guy rocks as long as u are in control. |

pinkpebbles: So that is all you could deduce from this post. Your orgasm is not just soft, I think your brain is too. Madam sorry but ur post screams of ignorance. The knife cuts acrross both single and married, across both men and women. U are female so u won't understand but ask urself why would a married man be desperate for punny outside his home? The answer is not farfetched. I don't approve the BS neither to I propagate it but to come and start generalizing on all married men that very low and silly (take it anyhow u feel it was meant). Its just like me saying all women are bitches. That would be very wrong and low of me cos I know its a lie. Anyway ur opinion is flawed and thank god its just ur opinion and not a fact. But be advised lot of ladies esp single ladies prefer married men cos of little colateral damage and no drama unlike single guys. |

PMB can veto that bill and it won't see the liqht of the day.
Oh!,I forqot,Most of them are only interested in the paddinq of budqet. U didn't know? That power has been cubbed by the house. The new rules is that any bill passed by both upper and lower houses and rectified by the state houses will be considered law if the president within 30 days fails to return the bill to the house for amendment stating his greviances. Meaning the president can't veto any bills again but must explicitly write his problems with a bill within 30 days, if he fails to do so that bill becomes law. |

limeta: With the coming of the proposed Christian court bill, and if passed, it is safe that it would easily be argued by proponent of the Islamic bill that it is also justifiable for the Islamic bill to be passed by the parliament. Is that the original idea behind this so-called Christian court bill?
Yes i know so. Check d proponents of that Christian Bill they are mostly all Muslims. Then ask urself why would a muslim be looking to establish a Christian bill? |

Pylony: You know, it is a common thing with the Nigerian Politicians, when they lack important things to delibrate upon to transform the Nation and its people, they divert attentions to useless un-ethical topics. Those in the Senate and house of Rep believe they have nothing to loose after all their allowances and salaries are always ready unlike that of a hard working civil servant who'll spend months without salary. Yep but important things to deliberate is staing them fools in the face since kingdom come. Since democracy came have we revisited our health bills? Have we done something on education? What of security bill? What of the constitutional court bill? There are too many bills that those @£&#hole could discuss. How does a religious bill help rhe masses? When u hear things like this it makes u wish u had a gun. |
Crime › Re: There Just Has To Be Punishment For Jungle Justice by drnoel: 9:08am On Dec 08, 2016 |
DesChyko: Long story cut short, a young man made his way into the house of an elderly man and tried to abscond with a Nokia torch phone, #1,000 and a 'quarter-to-die' necklace. He was caught in the act and the people around raised alarm.
A crowd soon gathered and the verbal insults degenerated to a few slaps. But quickly, it turned savage. Some young men who are fond of gathering at a deale'sr to smoke any 'brown powder' in any 'white wrap' soon abandoned their hobby to join the fiasco. The meagre slaps that were considered punishment enough until the police arrived were immediately considered insufficient by the new arrivals.
Soon, planks were up in the air and landed with unrestricted velocity on the suspect's body. These were followed by stones that kept increasing in size as each was thrown. Even the smoke-joint owner gladly offered up her wares for use to mete out 'justice' on the thief.
The few people that were appalled by the sudden aggravation of the beating had to move away from the scene and sought alternatives to secure the suspect from the reach of these 'murder-inclined' arms of the jungle law, while repeating warnings of the possible consequences to the 'beaters' should the suspect give up the ghost. But they were to far gone in their act to think otherwise. As Providence would have it, the police arrived and whisked the suspect away.
My opinion is this: I know some criminals can be inconsiderate, but for that reason, should we lose our human nature? Considering his crime, is it a commensurate punishment; beating him that way? Our laws may have failed and our country, gone awry, but how does that begin to explain deriving joy from seeing our own dying or justify venting our frustrations on our fellow human?
I've never really witnessed lynching in reality but as this is how close I came, I have to admit that it is not 'humans' but an inner 'demon' in human form that carries out such act because those fellows ceased to be understood at that point.
The Government should look into this; and draft a law to take care of 'jungle justice'. It rapes our existence of belief in being humane.
(The above incident happened in Afromedia Estate, Okokomaiko; an area in Ojo L.G.A. of Lagos) Looks like u havent heard. The bill has already been drafted and has passed second reading. We are waiting for it to be signed into law so it becomes criminal to take life. |

clevadani: Just to grant Lagos special status, they had to add other unproductive states just to satisfy some elements. Only God can help this country. I won't call onitsha unproductive and Kano though now maribound was the economic heart of the north in the 70s and 80s. |
Politics › Re: Special Status For Lagos Bill Passes Second Reading At House Of Reps by drnoel: 9:01am On Dec 08, 2016 |
QuotaSystem: This new strategy of adding Kano and Anambra states to to the special status bill means the bill has a better chance of being passed, but it's a sober reminder of the geo-political fault lines in our nation that must be recognized in ways that could hinder genuine economic progress.
Above all, this is great for Lagos, it will enable Ambo-super to continue his magic in the centre of excellence. I look forward to the day that Lagos develops an effective underground rail system to solve the myriad of transportation problems and boost economic development.
Eko o ni baje! Yep well said but where the fault lines are so clear is where they couldn't hide the fact that they wanted Kano supported cos of its footwear industry. What does that now say for Aba foot wear industry? Don't get me wrong the idea for such a bill is nice but why should it just support 3 geopolitical zones alone where there are 6? I am not saying aba should be chosen over onitsha cos everyone knows onitsha to rightly deserve the attension. Why give federal support to kano footwear industry knowing full well the aba footwear industry has over run that of Kano? Some fools will come here and call me ipob supporter without answering the question. I am no ipob sympathizer but just someone who honestly wants to discuss and understand what is not understandable. The bill looks good but is full of flaws. What happens when other geopolitical zones want to add their zones inside too? |
Education › Re: The Misuse Of The Words 'ADVICE' And 'ADVISE'. by drnoel: 7:52am On Dec 08, 2016 |
ayesco202: Good day fellow nairalanders. Many a time I come across posts where these words 'advice' and 'advise' are used interchangeably . For instance, someone might want to say 'I need your advice' and we see something like 'I need your advise' which is wrong. 'Please advice me' instead of 'Please advise me'. Now the thing is, the word 'advice' is a noun and does not take 'to' modal auxiliaries such as will, would, may, can etc,. Has/have/had cannot also come before it, eg, my advice for you is this, work hard. NOT My advise for you is this, work hard. Advise is a verb which can admit 'to' and the auxiliary verbs above before it eg, I wish to advise you/I may advise you/I will advise you to... So advice seekers need to take note of these things so that we can as well, advise you. Peace. Weldone, I interchange those words too often in my attempt to hurriedly write. Big thanx OP |

Romance › Re: 7 Reasons Why Long Distance Relationship DO NOT Work by drnoel: 10:07am On Dec 06, 2016 |
Millz404: Who says it absolutely doesn’t, there are people who try very hard to keep it working. And mind you, those are the same people who stretch it for too long and end up frustrated and heartbroken. So if you are in long Distance Relationship or even thinking to get in, I suggest you consider everything and then decide to take it.
1. It’s about being together:
Why did you start dating in the first place? To be together, right? Then you have to realize that it’s not easy to keep dating when you’re not together. You don’t get to see each other every day, most of your romance will be limited to skype calls and texting; are you sure you want it?
2. New people:
When you move to new place, everything changes, including the atmosphere and the kind of people you earlier hung out with. You meet new people, and you might change, with that, your feelings for your partner might change and that’s fine. Just accept it and move on.
3. Jealousy:
Yes, there are going to be pretty people around them, in their snapchats and most of the video calls. Soon you’ll be having fights about it. “who’s that b!tch in the background” might be a start!
4. Fights:
Now that the fights have started there are always going to be fights, fights, fights. No matter how much you both try to keep cool, you will end up fighting and fall asleep crying.
5. Distance is okay:
Soon you might stop feeling the need to talk to them, and might completely stop missing them. Trust me, it happens. Distance is no more a problem, because with time your feelings are fading and this is where you should understand that you have to let go.
6. Different lifestyle:
You might have different schedules or with time adopt different lifestyles, and if you do then late night calls are going to be a problem when she wants to go clubbing and all you want to do after a long tiring day is to talk to her.
7. No sex. Really, NONE!
Let’s face it, all the dirty texting and sex chatting in the world doesn’t help your desire to have sex.
So think it through before you make such a (stupid) decision. Bullshit. I was in a long distance relationship for 8 years with d lady that became my wife before we wedded. |

Beneh: Before typing this post. I have to consult the God almighty for giving me the wisdom, inspirations and knowledge to say nothing but the truth about lesbianism. when Lucifer was the followers of Christ. He has powers and God didn’t took away all powers before sending him down, same act was recorded in the bible, during the times of Sodom and Gomorrah. a lady having s*x with same s*x and a man having s ex with same s*x. I made this research for 9 years on act of lesbi@nism, i have come to expose lesbianism. This article has a fully detailed and content on ‘how to spot a lady who is a lesbian’, from all analysis I gathered. This might sound shocking to your hearing that your wife might be a lesbian living on the same roof with you. Some teen practiced lesbianism from their childhood through hide and seek games, without knowing the implications while some are initiated in tertiary institution to lesbian group or cult, i.e black bra,aro queen, marine queens e.t.c This university student initiates year one student to join them to perform lesbian s ex in groups, some perform initiation rituals by imposing the young undergraduates to sleep with the same s*x.they attract his young girls with gifts and money in school. Incase you don’t know, Lesbanism is originated from the marine world. Here Are The 4 Ways To Spot Or Identify A Lady Who Is A Lesbian
1. Lesbians identify themselves by wearing a chain on the right leg.
2. Lesbians doesn’t have an atom of respect for a man for any reason, they always feel nothing good can come from a man.
3. Lesbians are generally wicked and heartless.
4. Lesbians always move together because they are jealous of loosing each other. This is has finally gone kolo |

Bagehot: I guess each individual's experience shapes their world-view. If you ask me which tribe is more spiteful, I would tell you its Igbos based on my experience.
In my first job, we were strictly forbidden from talking about religion and tribe at work. It was owned by delta-igbos, and asides from the fact that they were shitty capitalists, I never had cause to complain that I was treated in a certain way cos I'm yoruba, likewise I'm sure very few (if any) people could complain they were advantaged cos they are Igbo.
As soon I changed jobs to another bank, I had to deal with filthy tribalism on a daily basis. I had an igbo boss who was born and bred in Lagos, but would everyday make a filthy comment about yoruba people. Not like she was a bad person per se, but she made me not keen on coming to work everyday, cos like clock-work, tribalism would rear its ugly head before close of business. It didn't help that Goodluck Jonathan lost the election; as a matter of fact I had to become pro-Buhari against my will, just to silently hit back cos it was excessive. Before long, the contract Staff joined her in making these silly comments. To my relief I got another job, and cut contact with her as soon as I could.
In hindsight, a majority of the Igbo people I worked with were always like that, but I guess cos the environment didn't encourage such, it never over-flowed plus GEJ's loss made a lot of them mad.
Anyways, since then I've since become a staunch supporter of splitting Nigeria, and would happily donate money to IPOB, if thats what it would take. I honestly don't see Nigeria doing another 20 years with this amount of ethnic sentiments. But then its sad, cos the same problems that confront us now would only become magnified when we are all mini-states. Well said. Thats my sentiments too but rather diverted at my other half of the divide which are the yorubas. Unlike the igbos they are alot more tolerant. I know cos have seen both sides of the coin. Whenever my igbo cousins come visiting the yoruba ones and vice versa, it was always WWF from beginning of the visit to the end. The fights always bothered on ethnicity. For us teens then it was fun but for our parents it was real. One thing I noticed though was that my igbo cousins were good with yarns and yabbs much to the discomfort of my western cousins who always took things seriously and it always led to a fight. Even when we played football againts ourselves it was always East team against West team and I always found myself in the crossroad, on the fence and they always tried to make me choose. Peeps its not the best of feelings. We can do things better without all the hate. |
