Harrisee:
There are three tribes in this country- the Politicians, the masses and the men of the force. These politicians use the masses and the men of the force to their advantage.

We spend our time fighting over these people, yet they romance and share our common wealth among themselves. Jonathan embezzled billions, Buhari's kids studied abroad, goes to UK on vacation, Obasanjo rolled our wealth into his pockets, yet we still honour them. Most people here are either unemployed, underemployed or students in our rickety universities; yet will almost die defending politicians who do not even care about them. If you investigate, you will find out that the cell where Dasuki is kept, is different from the one housing ordinary Nigerians, when he committed far an greater offence. We must rise and take over this country from these feudal lords
Bros that the stupidity of Nigerians and it will continue leading to the death of our youths.

Track him down for school...(or any open place)
Call am chairman say you want to reason am something.. ..

Move out with him and buy him drink (alcohol... 2 Bottles minimum)......
Tell him to forget about that "stuff" that happened in the hall that you were provoked previously before your issue with him (no apologize like woman o... I mean by kneeling down and crying)
Hear him out... . Smile if the case is settled and top up his drink with one more bottle.

Nb: Use this method if he is a top man... not all those wanna be.
Oko polythenic is a strong cultist school and I believe that all guys issue can be resolved over a bottle of beer.

I was never a cultist but will adopt this method when in similar case.

Final bullet: fictional scenario which might still give you the desired results.
Best answer here. Have personally used this method in the past. It gained me a bodyguard later but that was after I had to shaak all his guys. The guy was their Bossman I.e their number 2 man. Funny he later kept trying to make me join them later but I refused and when he finally became their Capone I was untouchable. The down side was that many rival groups kept trying to use me to get to him but I refused and remianed neutral and when the pressure from the rival groups got too much I warned him that I would report the incident to anticult groups so he could take off before the shit hits the fan which he did.

that is why they(igbos) are revolting. Can Yorubas try it? Iyaloja is inherited and she can close the market for 1 week and nobody dares complain. SMH
The last I heard Iyaloja was not inherited till Tinubu came into the scene. If I remember correctly when Tinubu's daughter was given the title marketers mostly of yoruba descent demonstrated and condemned it to no effect. Abeg, Tinubu is the god of the yorubas.

6 months is okay for somebody you want to date. If you could wait for 6 months then i'm certain that the babe was already encouraging the guy while he was at it.
One or two weeks p is not for a girl you want to date. But I feel you.
Na wah ooh. Ur comments really ticked me the wrong way. I could give u many instances from my very little experience. I remember a case back then in Uni I had pursued a chick intensively for 2 weeks and stooped. I had told her I didn't know where I wanted it to lead us (if u remember my comments earlier). I really liked her, didn't really want to bed her but liked having her around and had told her plainly. She came over visting and mentioned in her own words "eh! U have stopped calling and u don't come to see me again".
I told her "well I told u that I would just pursue u for 2 weeks and not more".
She told me "U gave up too easily. That means u just wanted to sleep with me".
I told her "as I rule. If I wanted to sleep with u. I would have told u. U would have known. Why would I chade u for months, is that what I came to this school to do? I dont have time for that rubbish. If u like me and u wanna hang out fine lets hang out and see where it leads us. That what I told u and I meant it. For u to be looking out for me to actively pursue u and keep pursuing u for months, thats not me, I have high contraindications for such". After that I noticed she started giving serious green lights and when I didnt respond she started doing the chasing. That was just one issue from certain others and there are some others but I wont gi into them.

Have much fun pursuing a girl for 6 months. Guy u funny. Look, just b4 u approach a girl, while u are still collecting ur thought to even open ur mouth most ladies already know where they have placed u. She already knows if she wants to just be friends, bed u, run a mile or date u. When u know that why postpone the inevitable?
See unlike men women are every articulate and clear thinking when it has to do with things of the heart, they know. They just put men to the test to try their patience and also to enjoy the feeling of being chased and being the centre of attraction. Thats why if u are quick to put enof confusion in her clearly thought out plan they find it hard to let go, then u've got her.
Believe me, the length of time u pursue a girl has nothing to do with if the girl is good, bad or if she will stay in the relationship or not or even if she will cheat or not. Pls stop that stereotype. I tell u I never spent more than 2 weeks chasing a chick. I never did it then and thank God I will never have to. Guy, u really need re-education cos from ur words I fear for u.

If he got her after 6 months then it wasn't a waste Now.

Lol don't give up easily o. 6 months is not long. It means that the babe has been giving him green light sef.
Wtf, pursue a girl for 6 months, god forbid. Am I doing business that I should be patient? In my time I never went after a chick for more that 1 to 2 weeks. After 2 weeks and am not feeling her the game is off. I pursue her intensively for 1 week and by the 2nd week I give her my flows, telling her my honest mind. I was always completely honest about what and wanted. If I just wanted to bed her I would plainly tell her and if I felt she was date able I would also tell her. If I didnt know what I wanted but wanted to just try her out I didnt mince words I told her. It never failed me cos they were usually shocked to the marrow after I was done talking. Once I had told her, I usually didn't stay like her lap dog waiting for her reply, I was gone. Funny enof or like magic it almost always works. 95% of them do come back. I realised the ones I told that I wanted to bed would come back and do shakara but I would still bed them. The ones I told I wanted to date were more difficult. The ones I told lets do a trial ended up being the ones to turn around and start doing tge chase. But ofcos every situation is not the same so one has to tailor things to fit every time.

You gave her 3k? Then left her?and your point for doing that exactly?

I am old school,so my advice is the old school sense kind.

First, never ever give a woman money the day you just met her no matter what, as you are laying a very bad precedence for the future between the two of you.

A woman that begs for money on the first day,is a professional begger, schemer, and honestly not somebody a responsible man should go near.

My last advice for you is this, and it has worked for me. After some few minutes of conversation with her, always ask her what she does for a living.

As a rule,I never go near female students, unemployed females and any female who cannot in anyway support themselves.

And even at that, the female have to be somewhat close to my level financially.

Beerbeer Bank(yansh bank) no be bank at ,and I no go deposit my money there. Beerbeer bank no get withdrawal card, only deposit machine.
One big stout for this man. I would have asked her to step out of the car and driven off once she was oitside. Why would I give a leech money for just meeting her?

Politics › Re: What Igbos Need To Know About Lagos by drnoel: 8:05am On Aug 16, 2016
rlauncher:
This write-up is a rebuttal to the crap posted by one by the monicker yanshdoctor which he titled ' ,What Lagos Yoruba's need to know about Lagos', in which he made some nasty and unsavoury comments about the Yoruba people as well as roll out false information about Lagos State. Ordinarily, I don't comment on nairaland. I usually visit the forum as a guest. But when I saw the extent to which the Igbo people are wont to badmouthing Yoruba people, peddling false information about them despite having been so magnanimous to the Igbo people over the years in the history of this country ,I have no choice but to join the forum so that records can be set straigth. I have to do this because if your neighbour are peddling false stories about you and you keep quiet ,it would not be long before others begin to believe their lies.

First, Lagos was not developed by the colonialists, nor by Igbo's (in fact Igbos contributed more than any other factor to the cripplling of the southwestern Nigeria economy) nor with oil money. It was developed by the Yoruba people. Before the discovery of oil, Lagos was already heavily industrialized. I am talking of as far back in the 50s. We used to have industrial estates scattered all over the southwestern states including Ogun ,Oyo ,Osun,Lagos, Ondo and Ekiti.

Up till the late 70s , these industries established by Yoruba people and foreigners alike were providing ready employments to fresh graduates from our Universities and Polytechnics. These were the times that people will mock you if you buy a secondhand car because the word " tokunbo cars" does not exist at that time.

It is also instructive to know that at that time, we used to manufacture practically everything being imported into the country today ranging from electricals, electronics, automotives, motor spare parts, tyres, textiles and clothings, footwears and other leather products just to mention a few.

The prosperity of the western side of Nigeria began to attract people from other parts of the country coupled with the the fact that Yoruba people are generally accommodating of people of other ethnic groups and discrimination based on ethnicity at workplaces in southwest Nigeria is generally absent.

This was also the time that the naira used to exchanged for about 75 kobo (N0.75) to $1. Brand new cars used to go for between N2000(two thousand naira) and N7000(seven thousand naira).

The problems of the southwest began when Shagari came into power and began granting import licences for the importations of goods we are already producing. The federal government at the time refused to listen to the cry of economic experts for the federal government to protect our infant industries.

I am sorry to say this, but it is the truth. The Igbo people latched on to the weakness of the federal government policy on the need to protect infant industries and the markets became a washed with cheap and fake versions of the highly quality products we used to produce at home ,all imported from the Asian countries. I know some of us reading this piece will remember " this is from Taiwan".

Mass retrenchments was what followed as the once burgeoning industries could no longer operate profitably. Over 40,000 industries have since close down. Our youths can no .longer secure good jobs after graduating from school and the naira exchange rate to world major currency have been depreciating since then.

Igbo's will never tell you how they bombed pen cinema in Agege , the then equivalent of Silverbird cinema of today, killing so many Yoruba people who went to see a movie with their friendsand families as well as planted IEDs all over Lagos in order to destroy Lagos and kill as many Yoruba people as possible at the beginning of the civil war which was not caused by Yoruba people. The Igbo's have always been envying and hating the Yoruba people for no just cause, hence the lies and devilish propaganda they have been spreading about us on the social media.

l wish to categorically state here that the economy of Lagos have been functioning perfectly well before Igbo's came and destroy it with importation of cheap, fake , adultrated, and substandard goods. The departure of the Igbo's from Lagos and southwest will only lead to the revival of industrialization of our region, because unnecessary importation of goods we can produce at home though at higher prices will stop. I am not saying the Igbos should leave, but they are free to do so if that is what they want but not at the expense of the unity of the nation.

Igbo's should stop badmouthing Yoruba people .We have always been forgiving you people for the harms you people have been doing to us and our economy. It is rather unfortunate that Igbo people think that our patience and gentleness is something that should be exploited. We are not fools.

Op sorry but its full of shit, what u posted, no insults meant. Its high time we stop these stereotypes good men/bad men bullshit. Choice is dependent on every individual thats why u can come and tell us why girls like bad boys and people will not take u serious. I know women that have been dealt with by so called baf boys and they turned aound to marry so called nice guys and vice versa. Besides who says that so called bad guy isn't a nice guy at heart. Years ago a lady asked me and my group of friends why we were so friendly with and had so much female friends but never got serious with any of them. A pal of mine, now a lawyer answered for us all and he said and I quote "cos women are shallow. Like raw hot metal u need to beat into shape. When u embrace them the hot metal burns u but u beat it into shape to suit u first". Women always look to a man for direction, thats how they are made. It now depends on the situation that influences whether the two can be together or not.
Romance › Re: How I Lost 6,000 Naira To A 19 Year-old Girl Yesterday by drnoel: 5:53am On Aug 15, 2016
TheLastIdiot:
Nigerian girls are not smiling o, even in this harsh economic situation angry

Yesterday being Saturday, i decided to hang out a while. I was sipping my cold goldberg peacefully at one of the joints in town when my phone rang, saw it was a flash and decided to call back to knw who flashed me since I didn't save d number. I got to knw it was a girl I met a week ago, Jennifer, a student of Uniben as she claimed (because I've strong doubt now). She asked me where I was and i told her the place, giving her description. In less than 40 mins she appeared on a keke. I paid for her fare and asked her what she wuld like to have. She requested for the biggest size of the peppered fish that was available, with cabbage and other spicy stuffs (3, 500 naira). She also asked for 2 bottles of Snap drinks (500 naira) i come look am with one kain bad eye, when she talk that one. I don vex by that time.

Nonetheless, I didn't bother much because I thought both of us wuld still be the ones to enjoy the delicious fish. I started realizing the scam when she insisted that she want to take the fish home so that her friends culd share with her, saying they're "friends for life" angry E come be like say na film i dey watch. My eyes come dey turn me up and down because Naija economy no get joy now.

What was on my mind now was to make her pay for her greed in the bedroom because the waitress clearly stated that there were other cheaper ones but she displayed greed by going for the pocket-wrecker package!

I was now thinking of how to convince her to sleep over at my house since it's weekend. i gathered courage and made the request. To my greatest surprise, she didn't object but said she wuld get to her house first and drop the fish for her friends. My adrenaline was high! I stopped the nearest keke after footing the bills. She was directing the keke rider. we got to a street and she asked the keke rider to stop in front of a house, she requested that I give her 2k to sort out some things with her friends. I didn't hesitate since she wuld be sleeping at my place. She went into the building and that was the end! I waited for long, by then, the keke man was getting worried. I went into the building and discovered that the fence at the back of the compound had fallen. I met a young man washing clothes who told me she saw the girl entering the next street through the building. When I told him that she's the one I've bin waiting for, he told me that people normally pass through the compound to the next street, that it's a short-cut road!

Each time I call her line and the other line she flashed me with, different girls keep picking the calls, telling me that is it because of my small money that I'm disturbing their lines! I now feel she belongs to a cartel of runs girls who will stop at nothing to milk any hustling guy dry. I've made a resolution that any day I see her anywhere as far as we are both in this country, I'll make sure she vomits my 6k in cash or kind! No be 4 dis harsh economy o!
This story made my day. Abeg bros, na wah for naija girls.
