Though the catholics are not worshipping God, they're worshipping Mary... It's not for him or anyone to judge except God cos God says in the bible, Judge not for you not to be judged. He's wrong with his preaching.
U are a goat |
waleadex: To put the blame completely on her is bad. Like you said she's brought up that way and this shows you're rich because we all know electricity supply is not stable in Nigeria. Besides, she's only being childish and I believe as she grows she will change and stop complaining. However,it's not healthy to always get confined in a/c environment. You can ask your doctor for me details.Still u are not doing her any good by nursing those exceses. Its time u slowly put a stop to it so that ur child can grow normally in a nigerian environment. |
Hey mr op, modify that ur ibo to igbo, and modify that ur akwa to awka... Awka people don't eat or kill monkey because it is the messenger of the gods. If u go to obi imo awka shrine, u will see some monkeys there. They use it whenever they want to celebrate their imo awka festival. And once again modify that ur Eke-idemili by removing the Eke in it. Eke means python, ƧƟ people call their python eke-idemili which means idemili python( idemili is a town at anambra state) Op I will contribute more to ur story if u modify ur post
Pls for those that just decide to write what they are not sure about Idemili does not exist just in Anambra state but also in Imo (close to Orlu region) and I hear there is also an Idemili around abia (that one am not sure about) |
What of Taboo about whistling at night, relatives used to tell us as kids that it call Eze mmuoa (the king of spirits) |
We don't eat snails in my village
This is also delta |
fruityjojo: In my village hmm its a taboo 2 sit on top of a mortal,Yes this is common in the delta region. I know of this one. |
Polio: So what will happen if i kill a snake?Oh ma broda u don´t want to go there. Its is an abomination of the Land. They say iru go ala if u kill a python. Its means u have killed one of the ancestors again and u must bury him again. So u bury the python like a human being. If u are unlucky and the elders decide the python was an important chief in his life time, that one na wahala. It means u will have to do a large burial ceremony for the whole village. Pls don´t even go their. |
idemili people kill any type of snake except python
which idemili people are we talking about here cos there are more than 4 -5 idemili tribes in both Anambra and Imo as far as I can remember |

whatever, i can´t wesar a shoe with out socks period. Whoever wants to throw him/heself into river niger cos I did so can be my guest. The thing is to balance out things cos I know what one wears must balance out with whats acceptable (cos am not a complete bushman). Anyway, I compensate that by wearing those very small shoe like socks with whatever shoe I wear with the traditional so people don´t notice the socks and i get to wear my socks with a shoe. |
olorunthobby: [b]oh yeah...! It should be said that I'm not the best-looking man in the world. But I’ve been known to turn on the charm. And no matter how powerful or brilliant my woman bosses have been (and most have been brilliant), being a man has almost always helped me get on with them. There was the boss who saw herself as a mother figure to me, treating any professional failings on my part as something we could overcome together, and cutting me far more slack than any of my women colleagues. There was another who regularly asked me for advice on her love life then gave me the better jobs to do as a thank-you. I’ve been extravagantly flirted with by another two bosses — one who, like me, is married, and said she enjoyed the way i used to park my limosine in her garage because she knew neither of us would really want anything to come of it. Couple of months ago, another female boss had a crush on me. Even the fiercest women are softer on men. I worked under a particularly fearsome female — she’d made her reputation as a girl who could outperform guys, and was determined to show she wouldn’t give anyone an easy ride just because of her chromosomes. Her skirts were tiny, her shoulder pads huge, her language robust, and she strode around daring anyone to deliver anything less than perfection. She was terrifying. Unless, that is, you were a man. I quickly found out that she reserved her greatest fury and harshest standards for the girls. In her view, young women starting out in their careers had to be shown that nothing would come easy — because they were women. She’d had to fight her way to the top and so would they. It’s the same for my friends. We’d never admit to getting on in our careers just because of a willingness to exploit our sexuality, but those of us who have worked under female bosses haven’t been able to resist at least trying it. So give me a strong, powerful woman in charge any day. Especially if I’m one of the few men in the office with her and she’s got a soft spot for talented but occasionally lazy journalists with a tendency to put an inappropriate 'xx' on the end of work emails.laughed when I read ur post. Nigeria is gettting out of hand. Anyway haven´t worked for female bosses but have had a lot of female collegues falling over themselves. The stuff I noticed about women is that they are their gresatest nightmare |
egift: When will the Presidency stop these LIES? The problem is not the demands, but that relevant stakeholders (CBN, Labour, the attorney general of the federation and the President) should sign it.ok after ASUU who is next online Labour or NMA |
donphilopus: Na talks dem dey! If Tambuwal decides to join APC, he's welcomed! But, that presidential stuff of a thing would be very hard! He can take over the mantle of leadership from the governor of his state, Alh. Aliyu Wammako Margartakada! But as for the presidency, it's crystal clear like the mene mene tekhel upharsin!Whoever they bring out as long is its not Tinubu or Buhari. Cos any or either of the mentioned two will be their downfall |

martronilla: there is nothing like betrayal. His friend even helped him expose the girl. He deserves an award. He knows his frnd is dating a slut and proved it by sleeping with her. She wasnt a gud gf frm d start because if she was, she wuld av been faithful... Op, dnt mind this guy's post o. Go and give ur frnd a hand shake. He tried jare. Girls tho....wrong wrong wrong, its wasn´t in his friends place at all. U don´t do such to ur main man. What his friend did was full and complete betrayal. If one was to do such to ur pal, u should have atleast discussed with him first then u guys both set the chick up. This is the reason my friends and I came to an undertanding while in school then and it was never to ever go for or shike any girl our friend had interest in or was sleeping with our pal or dating with our pals. Funny stuff is that girls full ground, they are so many so what is the possibility of two friends sleeping with one girl. It did happen once or twice but whenever we came across such, we settled it over bottle of beer. |
payless: The militants and creek boys are coming to insult Olubunmi Okogie. One of the most respected clergies we have in Nigeria.really ?? |

Ukuts gp: who made her mother of God. Did God have a mother? Catholic is a real joke. Only u people will worship d pope and kiss his foot. Only u people will worship mary, only u people will be carrying bones of saint peter everywhere and bowing down b4 it. Only u people will say that mary died a virgin and ascended bodily into heaven. Only u people will add more books to the bible. Only u people will burn candle and incense in the house of God like shrine. Only u people will make idols and bow down to it. Only u people will pray to dead saints. Abeg the list is uncountable. It is a shame and disgrace to the name of God.

baralatie: she is using sex to blackmail a guy into marriage!its an old trick in the book but the rule have changed. OP should just stay away since he doesn´t know if he would settle with the girl |
Scientists have demonstrated that male sexual preferences are largely determined by maternal influences in the early years of life - in other words if a woman looks like a man's mother he is more likely to find her attractive. The study is based on observations of sheep and goats who were fostered by mothers from a different species but scientists believe the results could also be applied to humans. Ever since Sigmund Freud proposed that mothers have an inordinately strong influence over their sons, cemented by a quasi-sexual bond, the question of whether the Oedipus complex is real has been the subject of controversy. Anecdotal reports have suggested that men tend to prefer women who look similar to their mothers but none has gained scientific credibility. In my search to understand i came across these sites with links on NL: https://www.nairaland.com/1326257/guys-pray-marry-woman-like/1 https://www.nairaland.com/408000/mencan-marry-older-woman https://www.nairaland.com/1356888/qualities-woman-want-men I then remembered a converstaion ihad with a freidn of mine who recently got married. He told me he loved his wife cos she not just reminded him f his other but that she takes care of him like she used to do. Now I know u´d say this is just a onetime occurance and not all men do so but I beg to disagree cos have seen this play out often. In some of my acquintances, people I heard or read about and some of my pals. The questions is funny but Why do some men fall 4 women that take care of them like their mothers? |
