The football loss shouldn't provoke the ugly comments and resentments that it has so far done. While the situation is grave and awful, the comments, emotions and opinions I have read, in my view, have largely been misdirected. This is a National loss that should be seen as being beyond football; male or female, age-grade or full international,
I expect boys and girls to sit down, dig deep, look inwards and find out that something is lost in the fabric of Nigeria. Those things are SUCCESS and PROGRESS. Nothing is working in Nigeria. Has someone there been following the Flying Eagles? Who has noticed anything good from Coach Bosso and Mr Bala? Don't be deceived by Bala's two goals against Scotland. They were already made goals by other players, Bala was only fortunate to be in the position to score those goals because of his position as a striker(even if he is a most useless one). The first goal came from a goalmouth scramble which Ideye selflessly allowed Bala to score, the second goal came after the scottish keeper couldn't hold an Adefemi shot properly, and Bala, due o his posiion as a striker could race towards it and nod it in. Have you noticed Ideye's pacy runs and dribbles, Akabueze's mezmerizing stunts, Owello and Echejile's beautiful combination on the left, Adefemi's "Viera" displays?, these are the real players. Bala and Bosso are horrible ipmuts in the team.
Don't think the team was assembled by Bosso, it was actually done by Uwua and Abdullahi. Bosso never thought he could take the F/Eagles to Canada, Vogts was actually told to handle the team a some point in time!

By winning the CArling Cup and the FA Cup against very stif opposition, Chelsea has shown that she is really a team to be associated with.The truth is that it is easier to win marathon league than to win a knockout comptition.Chelsae won two knockout competitions that were both contested for by all the teams in Great Britain.You definitely can't compare winning the Premiership with that. The league can be wonbecause your rival clubs are playing draws but the Cups can't be won in such ways.Displacing Man U and Arsenal enroute both silverwares clearly shows Chelsea's superiority in England and of course in the world!

Aren't we taken for granted in Nigeria? Do our votes mean anything to Obasanjo,Iwu and whatever powers that be? Isn't our queueing up to vote but a mere formality? Ondo State is boiling, Ekiti State is bleeding, Osun State is red-hot, Alao-Akala has stolen votes in Oyo State. Niger-Delta states commenced votings by 4pm and  yet PDP still recorded moe than  a million votes to record landslide victories!There are public revolts in Edo where our own Oshiomole has been brazenly robbed by  the do-or die party!Isn't this distasteful?

STOP PRESS!!! THE PORTION OF THE BIBLE THAT CONTAINS THE RITE EXPLAINED ABOVE IS IN NUMBERS, CHAPTER 5, VERSE 11.

I read the bible recently and my eyes fell on somewhere in Leveticus. It was chapter 18. It gave instructions as to what a man should do if he suspects his wife of infidelity. He was instructed to take her to the temple and the priest in charge was to do some rites; it entailed cursing water and giving the lady to drink. If she was guilty, her genitals would shrink and she would become a curse to her generation. If she isn't adulterous, she would be unharmed by the water.
    My question is this: I don't think there is anywhere in the Holy Bible where a woman can do anything if she suspects or even catch her husband in the act of adultery. This goes to reinforce my belief that the soceity permits a man to be unfaithful but condemns or better still excoriates a woman who does so. My reading of Leveticus has confirmed this. At least, God has not changed. He is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever. I understand Leveticus contains mosaic laws but we still follow some of those laws in mordern day Christendom, or don't we? I need clarification.
