You need to download the videos of the Kodak U16 Championship in China 85 to appreciate what those Sebastian Brodericks-tutored lads did in conquering the world at that stage.

I have a srt4672 strong decoder. I pay 900NGN subscription monthly yet TV3 and MBC 3 & 4 do not open. I barely have access to all this KanalD and sweet FTA that everyone is talking about.

I have dst* and Startimes but I hate having to subscribe maximally on two different pay tv. Startimes is the worst. One barely has any idea of whatever is showing. Their info b button doesn't work and they don't quote it on the screen like MBC does on mytv

Item used: 2 fuji stargold lnb dual output, local pan dish
Results
11938 v 27500= 60% best I could get
10992 v 27500= 97%

Still battling on east side. Hope to complete installation tomorrow. Note I had to bring in a more experienced installer for these gains. He adjusted my lnb handle to achieve this.

The dish neck that came with my dish is 3 inch diameter wide and my pole is also 3 inches wide. I have some adjustment to make on the dish neck tomorrow.

The dish neck has to be a little larger to accomodate the pole. The Pole is the galvanise pole type.

I am using a pole of about 2m tall because of the large number of trees in my compound

Please what do they show on that TV3 channel by the way? It doesn't open on my strong too. I think we use the same decoder - or mine is 4762 It is compliant with the MyTV card which I also use and subscribe for.

Many people here have told me my decoder can't work with a patch and so many things seem quite impossible...

No tv3, no irib, no nothing for me.

I got only someone in Akure from that thread. Akure is about 1-1.5 hours from here.

He advised me to go for a 4m dish with jack and all. He also told me I'll need a new strong 499x decoder as my 4762 can't handle that larger dish.

He says I'll need to look for a local dish fabricator to help me create the dish too. So I'm now searching...

He promises that I'll be able to watch everything and anything on fta if I do it. He was also kind to suggest that qsat decoder bit I didn't take the option. It involves some hacking into dst* which I don't intend to do. I don't want to steal another man's sweat just as I wouldn't want mine to be robbed of me. He understood my stance.

I'm grateful to him.

So guys, can I get a local fabricator for a large dish please?

Please I've called my installer severally. I've been to his office severally. It seems he really doesn't know what to do either. I'll appreciate if you can direct me to someone who can help. I really feel my strong 4762 is being grossly underutilized.

Kindly give me an updated installer's phone number. I would really appreciate if those locked stations can be unlocked and if I can watch more sports and movies on my decoder.

Fox Sports doesn't open on my STRONG Mytv here. I pay the 1K subscription but Foxsports as well as MBC 1,3 and 4 are among other channels do not currently open.
