gwadabe81:Fatai Atere is in the United States where he went on scholarship after the tournament and settled till now. The office premises of THE NATION Newspaper is on Fatai Atere Street in Lagos. They also got MON, I think. Let's invite naptu and icons4u to contribute to this subject. |
gibzzhd:If you've not read the history of the China '85 squad or seen their videos before now, did you not read DeRay98 and AreaFada2's comments? You need to download the videos of the Kodak U16 Championship in China 85 to appreciate what those Sebastian Brodericks-tutored lads did in conquering the world at that stage. Mind you, aside playing W. Germany in the final (who were losing finalists at the 82 Fifa World cup in Spain three years earlier), they also played with only ten men for most of the final match. There was another player who had a huge bandage on his head for a large part of the match too. Those guys were superb trailblazers and they deserve our respect. Stop crying age cheats more than it is necessary. Think wide. Watch the European basketball championship for U19s and see if the average African under 19 can dare to enter the court with age mates of his 6 years older brother's size! Google the Euro Basketball U19 tournament of any year to see what I'm saying. To buttress it further, you say we cheat. Let's agree. Asians are said to also cheat, right? So also have South Americans been accused. Ask yourself, why hasn't China or India or Zaire, for example, successfully cheated to win the U17? Mind you, the Bwalya led Zairean side beat football powerhouse Italy 4-0 in the group stage of the Seoul 88 Olympics in Korea. A tournament Rashidi Yekini played for Nigeria in. So, no be today African sides don dey win oyinbo but couldn't go as far as winning any World Cup before this team broke the jinx. Hey hey hey, don't underrate Olympic football tournament. Fifa recognises the World Cup, the Confederation Cup and the Olympic football tournament as the three full global competitions... Ghana followed later by winning the U17 six years later in Italy for their first before claiming it again in Ecuador in 95 after Oruma & Kanu's Japan 93 triumph at the same level. To those who say the players largely disappeared into oblivion shortly after because they were over aged, I agree but not absolutely. Like AreaFada2 similarly highlighted, I'll ask you: Where is PABLO, the Spanish no9 and highest goal scorer at the Nigeria 99 U20 World Cup today? How about Florent-Sinama Pongolle of the Trinidad&Tobago U17 2001 fame? Le Tallec, the no. 7 nko? Please! Who knew Diego Costa or even the legendary Zinedine Zidane at 16 years? Let's treasure our history responsibly abeg! The China 85 squad were glorious. Ebenezer Obey released the track "WORLD EAGLETS" in their honour. I've been trying to get to download the track from the internet for so long without success till now. Please if anyone had the track, please upload it online or use drop box and quote me to draw my attention to it so that I can download it please... Obey sang: Ayo t'awon 'mo wa gba ni China Ole, ole koko bi oju eja... #Evergreen |

ephy6774:I have a srt4672 strong decoder. I pay 900NGN subscription monthly yet TV3 and MBC 3 & 4 do not open. I barely have access to all this KanalD and sweet FTA that everyone is talking about. Ngwanu, Emmaachile, any suggestions on what to install to blaze the FTA experience in this area? I have dst* and Startimes but I hate having to subscribe maximally on two different pay tv. Startimes is the worst. One barely has any idea of whatever is showing. Their info b button doesn't work and they don't quote it on the screen like MBC does on mytv Yonderguy:Guy, would they also air the EPL eventually? What gadgets would I need to install to get it in Ekiti - if they'll also show the EPL... |
We all would die. No one knows where or when. Death is however a debt we all owe. The good or evil that every man/woman does would live after him or her. I'm following this thread closely to read comments about this deified king of Ife in his lifetime. P.S: KSA's hit track "Adimula mo seba" on repeat in my brain right now. |
I'm happy to have found this thread. I'm a Peugeot enthusiast. Ikenna is my wonderful ally. I however just picked an E39 525i BMW that I intend to resurrect. It currently has issues although it still moves. I'll appreciate if I can get an Ikenna kind of person for BMWs to make this car beautiful again. I'll drop pictures of its engine. I've also put a picture of the exterior of my kind of car too. The picture of my car here contains its plate number so I've opted to put up this one which looks really like mine.
|
yungboss:Thank you for doing the needed. Grateful! I'm in the process of resurrecting a jalopy BMW that I really knew so little about until now. I'll appreciate if I get collegiate support from the group as I set out to achieve this in record time under the next ten days. |
EMMAACHILE:Interestingly following. More power to your elbows. End result eagerly awaited. |
Fisayo Ogunfuyi Fisayo Ogunfuyi And I dare say once again, as of this Saturday in July 2015 when I watched him for the umpteenth time on Startimes, FISAYO, my man, OGUNFUYI is quintessential! I kept clapping for him in my sitting room that my wife and daughter were startled as to why I was so excited! |
EMMAACHILE:Thank you for the updates. I'm appreciative. Would be standing by for more. |
agenda1:Please what do they show on that TV3 channel by the way? It doesn't open on my strong too. I think we use the same decoder - or mine is 4762 It is compliant with the MyTV card which I also use and subscribe for. Many people here have told me my decoder can't work with a patch and so many things seem quite impossible... No tv3, no irib, no nothing for me. |
Folbim777:Do you know Prince (Dr) Agunbiade? He is an Osi prince and he lives in Ibadan. His grandfather was the last King. |
EMMAACHILE:I'll be waiting. Please quote me when you write your testimony Sir. |
Ogojohn:How much does it cost Sir? Please state it here. Many people are similarly interested Chief OgoJohn. |
sunene1:Thank you sunene. I got only someone in Akure from that thread. Akure is about 1-1.5 hours from here. He advised me to go for a 4m dish with jack and all. He also told me I'll need a new strong 499x decoder as my 4762 can't handle that larger dish. He says I'll need to look for a local dish fabricator to help me create the dish too. So I'm now searching... He promises that I'll be able to watch everything and anything on fta if I do it. He was also kind to suggest that qsat decoder bit I didn't take the option. It involves some hacking into dst* which I don't intend to do. I don't want to steal another man's sweat just as I wouldn't want mine to be robbed of me. He understood my stance. I'm grateful to him. So guys, can I get a local fabricator for a large dish please? |
sunene1:Please I've called my installer severally. I've been to his office severally. It seems he really doesn't know what to do either. I'll appreciate if you can direct me to someone who can help. I really feel my strong 4762 is being grossly underutilized. Kindly give me an updated installer's phone number. I would really appreciate if those locked stations can be unlocked and if I can watch more sports and movies on my decoder. I'm in Ekiti State. I can be reached via tundedoc@yahoo.com - in case you don't want to drop the number publicly here. My Nairaland email address doesn't work. Only the above does. I'll remain very expectant. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:It was paired about ten weeks ago when the U20 World Cup began. I don't receive Irib or Tv3. I receive the message "No access (6)" when I try my FoxSports channel. |
brytqoby:I use a STRONG 4672 decoder. It has card and I pay for the MyTV subscription. My fox sports doesn't open. Please how do I open it? How do I also get fox sports 2? I don't know how to go about this Eutel thing. Can you kindly give me a step-by-step breakdown please? |
SlyCharlie:Fox Sports doesn't open on my STRONG Mytv here. I pay the 1K subscription but Foxsports as well as MBC 1,3 and 4 are among other channels do not currently open. Is there a code you can supply to help me unlock them? This IRIB everyone is talking about, is it TV3? That one also is locked/disabled/$/dollar-signed on my decoder. Please help. |
Please can anyone kindly help me with a link to download Commander Ebenezer Ojo's 1985 track - WORLD GOLDEN EAGLETS. I've been trying to get it for so long. I'll be very grateful if I can get it. |
You see, this thread brings back * ancient * memories. The 'patting' after barbing, the water and soap mixture that was part of the barbing experience and the Oh my!; those blades! That's exactly where I'm going to. If HIV were as rampant or prominent then as it is now, we would be probably be all endangered species now as it we would have been severely ravaged... Funny enough, this equipment was still the primary barbing instrument in these climes more than a full decade after HIV was first discovered in America... God, or the unseen Hand which controls the world - whichever you prefer - was certainly interested in the preservation of our country and our people. The AIDS ravaged regions of Southern Africa come to my mind... We weren't holier. Moral: Let us do good. Let us serve the Creator in our everyday activities. Our lives are preserved for a purpose. Let's strive to make positive contributions daily. Let us see God in every face we behold. Let us keep a consciousness of the fact that someday - and soon too - we would have to give account of all that we did with the opportunity of life that HE gave us. I just listened to NTA Network News saying that 600 souls have probably been lost to BOKO HARAM attacks in the last 39 days of the new administration alone. SIX HUNDRED HUMAN BEINGS! One, two, ten, fifty, hundred, two hundred ... Six whooping hundred! One of my latest clients was numb and morose in clinic on Monday. She hadn't eaten since the previous afternoon and her blood parameters were on the high side. On deeper clerking, it is revealed that her four goats didn't return home the previously day. They had probably been stolen and Mama, the near- septuagenarian goat-owner was grieving. Supper last night and breakfast that morning subsequently ignored! How much more human lives, to God the owner of our souls? Our sins make him grieve. Our callousness, our insensitivity to other people around us, our greed, lies, adultery, binge eating and drunkenness, fornication and abortions are terrible ways of repaying God Almighty for His Faithfulness to us... If you've been touched, although this is away from the subject matter, please kneel down and ask for forgiveness. Continue on to rededicate yourself to God and please stand by your decision. P.S: A warm shout-out to @ Sirriddy. Thanks for being so kind and helpful when we eventually met physically last Friday. God bless you. |
Permit me to ask: As someone with sickle cell who avoids iron containing substances and drugs to avoid iron overload, how do you cope and avoid anaemia when or if pregnant? |
