dannybrasky:same goes for all the parts in ladipo and anywhere else ... you dont really know exactly what you are buying .. you just taking a chance |
dannybrasky:and the circle continues |
Eddee:you lucky say i no get meme to give you.. it pains now |
dannybrasky:sometimes you dont need a new one.. the one i bought for my elantra was a used rebuilt one.. am sure if the mechanics can take their time ,they can rebuilt it in Lagos.. If mechanics in Lagos can convert a 2008 car to a 2010 upgrade car.. so rebuilding a/c compressor should not be a big deal |
dannybrasky:at what expense ? at the engine expense ? you basically over working the car engine...... such thing will never be done in a sane country .. but each to his own |
Eddee:well...i know enough that a/c compressor has a life span.. once it reaches that life span, you get a new compressor or a rebuilt one well i know enough if the manufacture wanted a/c compressor to be manual ,they would have built it to manual ... well i know that buy used bushings for your cars is a bad idea, by using common sense ....... my brother people need to use common sense .. If the car manufacture felt that manual compressor was the best thing to convert to.. am sure they would have done that long time ago.... plus all these car parts do have expire date on them.. |
Eddee:that will be an expensive thing to do.. it means i will have to fly down to lagos and take pictures .... but so far my civics are doing great , most of the parts needed i buy them directly from the USA ... |
dicksonadams:how far bro.. my phone is down for now .. hoping to get back on whatapps soon by next week |
dannybrasky:penny wise ,pound foolish .... either way you will be for it the long haul.. it is a matter of laugh now and cry later ..... |

bottom line , mechanics should stop converting automatic a/c compressor to manual..... funny enough different mechanics told me convert to manual etc .. i just laugh in their face.... and bought my own a/c compressor via ebay for less than what i would paid for in nigeria ... ... If people learn and research car issues , maybe and maybe they would spend less time at the mechanics... Yes, i dont know much about cars.. but how many times do you see me asking for mechanic assistance on the forum.. |
timifakay:so because water enter my phone... make i go buy another phone ? it will be fix and by monday i should be back on line..... |
radautoworks:i agree with you 1000%.. ..i dont know much about cars at all. but i use common sense when dealing with certain situations.. can you believe few mechanics wanted me to change my A/C compressor from automatic to Manual.? i was told that manual compressor was the best and it does not spoil easily etc.. And i thought to myself if the car manufacture wanted the manual compressor , am sure they would have done that long time ago. People should stop converting car manufacture specifications to their own needs... A/C compressor do have a life span , and once that life span expires a new compressor should be replaced. simple as 1,2,3 |
For those that are trying to reach me via whatsapp or other means.. My phone is out of service till gets fix next week .. Especially my uber customers ,please i apologize for the inconvenience.. To my various customers on whatsapp , i apologized for the convenience.. i should be able to reply you all next week ... thanks for understanding |
teeebest:thanks for your concern... my phone and along mt whattapps is down for now.... and i dont have easy access to a computer.. hopefully by next week i should be back on line |
Joe4lv:This is the manual for your 2012 Corolla... please stick to what the manual says.. Below it states 0w20 is the best oil for your car .. If 0w20 is not available, than use 5w20 till your next oil change .. Than switch back to 0w20.. As seen can below 0w20 will work with all weather even with naija extreme weather... continue using 0w20
|
Eaglesswings:It is a pleasure sir, we appreciate your business |
Joe4lv:Coolant am out.... Well it does not matter at what miles to switch .. I need more information about your car ? What year ? What model? Oil type u were using before? Because some cars like 2011 Camry uses 0w20 , but if 0w20 is not available than use 5w20 .. Than you must switch back to 0w20 on the next oil change .. I need more information about your car before I can conclude |

theoilguy:I don't know how long you been selling oil.. Fake extended performace, fake Toyota coolant dey .. All the need is the original kegs or bottle and refill back ... I had client that was introduced to us through our car dealer ... When he saw our extended performace.. He was very and very reluctant to buy it for is E350 Lexus 2014 model .. He said where did we get the oil, how is he sure the oil is not fake etc . So our car dealer explained to him that he knows us personally .. And the seller is based in the USA and he should not worry.. The oil is original... the reason for concern, was that the new client stated that he has a neighbour that does fake Mobil 1 oil .. He couldn't tell the difference between the original.. He said these people that do fake, have the machine and the whole equipment to do the product .. He said even police comes to the house, and his neighbour just settles them ... |
dicksonadams:People know dru23, Radauto, legalwealth, Gazzuzz and the list goes on .. These people I mentioned can be verified.. But you out of no where you just showed up.... Claiming to be governing Api ...No way to verify whether if we are dealing with a clown or not.. Things don't work like that bro.. The internet is a crazy place bro.... |
dspecial001:At the end of the day.. The product you are raving about has no user review except for you.. If you are trying to convince others to switch, than give us reviews from other users.. So that the consumers are well informed |
dicksonadams:To be honest with you .. I don't understand sh*t ..no name . Who don't even know who this is .. If we have a name and a face to match.. We than can verify who he is ,omo I tire ..smh ....A random guy just comes on nairaland to make a claim ...as far am concern it could be a 13year old behind a computer... |
dspecial001:You are in Nigeria.. So you are influencing them how ? What college degree do you have ? So because you attended a conference you are now part of the API.. Sh@t don't add up bro... ..who do you think you fooling bro. A Nigerian based in Nigeria influencing governance in the USA.... Omo you try o .. Wonders shall never end ..

deavicky:He does not have to be a marketer .. My thing here is that the product is raving about has no reviews.. I Google and YouTube the brand.. I couldnt find a review on it, so I guess he wants the masses to take his word for it... Now if you check out Mobil 1 and Castrol on line. You can see the reviews both positive and negative.. You can see the amount of users that review the product.. You can than YouTube it . On YouTube you can see how the oil compares to other oil in the market... And most importantly the oil samples were taken to Lab . To see how it does under certain conditions.. But with Favoil we don't see that.. If you going to get value for your money don't you think you need to ur research... I spoke to this young man about reviews.. He said he does not need to see review .. As a business man before I started selling the Mobil 1 oil .. I went on line to check reviews from Wal-Mart, Amazon, YouTube and online mechanics.. Some reviews were positive and others negative... The review that convince me was from Amazon.. It had about 1k plus reviews and it got 4.5 out of 5 stars.. When I reviewed it , I focus on bad reviews mostly. In anything I do that will cost me money .. I check the reviews, it could be a product ,service , jobs, etc. I make sure I go online to check it out.. It has become an habit of mine .... So for example now , am on a business trip/ vacation to Japan .. I needed to change my yen to dollars. So I was looking for the best rate. The best rate is usually at the airport.... The airport is far from me , so I went to Google to see the best rate I can get in Tokyo ... The Google search came up with 5 exchange rate location. I went straight to the ones that had 600 reviews, with a 4.3 star out of 5 .. I went straight to the negative reviews.. Most of it was just plain stupid complain .. Mind you the currant exchange rate for the day was not posted So I took the train with my last 6000 yen in my pocket.. When I got there, I saw the rate to the dollar. My face lit up.. It was best rate ever. It was almost the same rate at the airport.. I commended them and told them to keep up the good job. Plus there was no service fees at all.. All these information I got was through reviews PS.. Like I always tell people, when spending your hard earn money.. On a product ,service or whatever the case might be .. Take the time to check out the reviews on line and from real people.. Don't just take my word for it alone. Try to look for the most reviews and focus on the negative reviews first... Than go for the positive ones and from there you can make a form decision...

theoilguy:My brother, my brother.... Fake plenty for market.. Does China come to mind.. What about refilling the empty kegs of the Extended performace with fake oil ! And than reseal it and sell it back to the market.. Now according to a good source of mine.. I was told the hardest part of sealing the oil is the aluminum foil type seal , which prevent spillage and acts as tamper proof...... You be surprised... meself I open mouth |
