Y1nka: Car 45 is luck, and on this hustle , luck is not enough.
What I will say is : NEVER GO TO CAR 45 alone! Don’t trust what the agent/ dealer says, and never feel bad to walk away.
One thing you should know is, there are PLENTY good cars within that range, please don’t be specific about one particular type.. if You are open to wider options of good cars at your range. You’ll get a very good deal.
Don’t also use all the money to buy, cos you may need to fix something’s afterwards.
Reach oga Gazzuzzz , I’m sure he has cars of different budgets. I have a guy who sells and swap good deals too, but to refer people nowadays dey fear me!
My two kobo though!
And about Oga @dru23... he’s entitled to his rat race philosophy, please lets not drag the matter... there are better things , less arguable about to discuss! Nobody sabi pass abeg

Gentlelife50: Ocar have introduced surge, the competition is getting intense Few months ago , you were shouting the job is slavery and people should not invest in ehailing ...now Ocar has introduced surge ...Ocar has shaken tables even though their apps are not fully efficient yet ....But it has forced the most efficient app ' Uber' to do whatever it takes to try and make drivers happy.... This business world get has it be sha , only if you get patience... I believe that patience and consistency are two of the most important concepts to keep in your mind when working on anything. Whether its your business or a personal goals, patience and consistency are key! |

I'm considering a 2007 America model There is a saying " the taste is in the pudding " expensive research.. Meaning I will have to either buy 07 civic or loan one for few months.. The car will have to be driven And tested for few months. And also under the same conditions has the other cars and civic on uber.. |

For the now those guys are giving full bread and For the now I make more per trip from ocar than the other two and aren't complaint or trying to mess any company up, but at the rate there are going if they crash it won't favour we driver also. For that alone I need them to succeed. How can this be urhobo? Last , last it will be favour drivers, competition among the three giants... the 3 Giants will always fight for market share ...hopefully Ocar can sort out their app in good order ... |

Felicity001: Fellow guys in the hustle I hail o. e get watin dey pain me since last month o and watin make an dey pain me more be say na my fellow guy run me local and very young guy like me I fit even senior am self I’m very sure of that.
It all happened 26th of last month I got a request on bolt by a guy name; Jay just in front of GIG logistics since I was just at the spot I quickly arrived put a call through the dude sounded nice and asked me to wait for him right there that he just crossed over to get some things for his wife who just delivered of a baby. I waited for almost 15min and he later called that I should drive down to front of his estate gate, I started trip, drive down on getting to the gate dude said I should enter since he was on a hurry he was trekking down home so I should drive to pick him up. He already told the securities to grant me access. Security guys, nice guy gave me directions, off I zoomed picking dude just almost to his street.
We got to the place he live somewhere in Ajah dude asked me to reverse that he’s still going out. Few minutes later dude came out asking of 2k.
Jay: bro u get like 2k with you I won give my wife to buy something I’ll transfer to you, hope you accept transfer. Me: yes I do accept transfer but I don’t have any cash on me. Na lie o booboo get like 10k+ inside car Jay: abeg I go transfer to you as we end trip or I give you cash because na atm I dey go use self.
I just think of how he said his wife just delivered of a baby I con pity d young man then gave him 1k, I said I’ve just 2k on me I need it to buy some gas.
To cut long story short, trip ended with N600 bonus N200. Dude asked if my account details, immediately another request came in. I quickly called my acct No, dude called out my 2nd name, saying “done” call me when you receive alert, I sent 1500 instead of 1400”. I said thanks, Off he went.
All through out that day I didn’t receive any alert from this dude but I received about 7k from two other Persian after his.
Next morning I called dude he said he has gotten alert. I said guy I didn’t get any money from you. Next day I called dude he said he’ll send me the money via someone’s account, few days later same promise and it goes on and on even up till this moment.
I reported him to taxify after 1week, ka ka they didn’t do anything about it. The thing just dey pain me like this enh...that 1k I have to him is what is even paining me the most.
The screen shot of the trip is attached within
So guys what do you think I do because I’ve not forgiven this guy and I’m still hurt by that act of swindling he did to me. It is very hard to pity people at times..situation like makes it harder to help others that do need that favour.. Just forget and forgive the guy. Next time when u refuse to show kindness ,God will not hold it against you |

peeps4u: But your reaction was way off from what the OP posted. If people aren't complaining about their app, how would they know and fix up.
You can't gag people from complaining about opay app because Ocar is giving uber and bolt strong competition. Am sure Ocar is aware of the situation.. After spending millions of $ , am sure they will figure it out.. I said this years ago... I said one of the biggest edge that uber has apart from money , is the technology know how over the rest of the competition .. It is one thing to build an ehailing app ,anybody can build one for cheap.. But is another thing to have the expertise to run it efficiently.. Uber has that over the competition.. Am even surprised they didn't trade mark the application, I wonder how possible that could be self. Just wondering o |

1. Honda Accord (E. O. D) years: 2003 & 2004 between 450 - 600k
2. Kia Cerato 2008 between 450 - 500k
Please advice me on what step to take, as I prefer to be an owner driver or partner.
Please anyone with an offer of cars for sale falling within the price range that is also usable for the hustle, please give me heads up

ncnerio: From the look of things Opay looks like another bolt if not worse. See no reason why entering into an already competitive market and your app is learning like from scratch. No toll inclusive, rider can't add stop or change destination in between ride and should you take rider to a different destination it counted as fraud. The driver app it self comes as a third party app. Without thier bonus they just might struggle. You people can never be satisfied.. Uber you people complain slavery, commission too low, request too low and the list goes on and on. U now have a new company to shake things up ..because of Ocar uber and co are now behaving themselves, because of Ocar drivers are making money.. Because of Ocar now ,the market is regulated itself, at least things seems to be getting better now.. A lot of you drivers what you make a day is what some make in a month.. Be patient and Ocar will sort itself out ....Be patient |

teeebest: Thanks Boss. I bought the car early September 2019. Used for 1 year in Naija. He bought it as Tokunbo August 2018. He uses Mobil engine oil(Can't remember the name but definitely not 5w30). Since we don't know what the previous owner was using. You might try to use 5w30 grade ... The Mobil 1 I sell will be too expensive for this experiment... Radauto on nairaland sells 5w30 .. Buy the full synthetic from her ,I think it goes for like 12k naira or am not too sure.. So try it and see how the car does . Make sure the engine does not short oil. By checking the oil stick periodically.. If it does not short oil after few thousand miles of checking, than you might be ok .. But if you notice oil shortage than you have to go back to the " engine killer oil ' 20w50.. What it means is that the damage is already done on your engine.. You just have to ride it out until you get a new engine... once you get a new tokunbo engine than you can start using the correct oil.. The thing about Nigeria use cars , is most owners use wrong oil . And most dont follow manufacture advice .. So any signs of engine trouble or signs that the engine is smoking.. The owners sales it off before anybody notice any sign of engine trouble or abuse. So buyers you like sees a car like that. And the car is a Corolla ,you automatically think na Toyota, strong car etc .. You than buy it , mean while the seller has sold you his problem.. His problem now becomes your problem.. And the circle continues .. But another thing you can do .. Since you do uber with it ,try and save enough money to buy a tokunbo.. Once you have enough money ,sell it and use the saved up money join to buy tokunbo... |

teeebest: Boss, this your response just go hang me for tree o-o. Lol
Please recommend a good one for me Sir The correct oil for your car is 5w30. That 20w50 you are using is killing your engine. .. I always advice car owners to follow the owners manual.. Also your engine oil cap tells you the correct oil ... Now that been said, it might be too late to start using the correct oil for your car . Depending if the car is tokunbo, depending what the previous owner has been using. And depending if you bought the car naija use.. So if you can answer all this depending questions ,than maybe I can give a final answer or verdict on the situation..... |

You just said it like it is. Ehailing is a challenging business and a game of not knowing who to trust but like you said if you have you hands on it under your control, the money will keep rolling in nonstop, provided your rental car is top notch good. You have one way or the other motivated and still motivating lots of people in this line of business. Car Talk › ....the Future Of Ehailing....... by dru23(op): 10:46am On Dec 09, 2019 |
Since the arrival of Ocar to the ehailing market. The future looks very bright and promising to drivers . The Ocar arrival has put the predictions, and the prophecy makers into confusion.. The ones by the fence will likely start rushing back into the business.. To Uber Drivers: Most of you now are happy and making money. When uber was slavery work, you still work crazy hours. And now that Ocar is now in the picture am sure you still do slavery hours.. And not because you have to , but because of greed .. I see no reason why any drivers should not remit the agreed rental agreement. Especially when the car is in good conditions. A smart ehailing driver will look for a good partner and finds ways to make constant money for himself and than pay his rental. Drivers are making good money without needing to put in crazy hours. Drivers be smart and be focus .. This is an opportunity to make the best out of it and put aside extra money for raining day.
To Investors Coming in : make sure your car is in good order. If your car is in good shape , a driver has no bloody excuse not deliver is weekly rental.. We have more bad drivers, than good partners. Always keep that in the back of your mind.. The business is still challenging, but if you take your time and only rent out cars that you are able to control, you do fine. But if you decide to neglect the business and you are not hands on . You have nobody to blame, but yourself.. Take the business serious treat it like a baby.. Do inspections, ask questions and talk to other people in the same line of business as you. If a driver is complaining look into and look for solutions. But also be objective with what you do.. Make informed decisions, and be vigilant.. Drivers and mechanics can be very cunning ..
Conclusion: In any business a man does. Try your best to ride it out and hope for the best . A lot of people tend to give up easily . especially when the tough gets going. Have been investing in uber from day one now ,have seen a lot. And am still investing, the only thing now is that am cautious with whom I give my car out to .... I am not in hurry to look for drivers. I have learn that this business is a jungle, pity is for weak .. This business is like drug game.. ' You can't be a sheep among wolves ' ....
I WELCOME EVERYBODY TO THE NEW IMPROVE EHAILING MARKET .... The Ehailing business is a Marathon, not a sprint ......thread carefully like you will do with any other business...... |
