Sometimes shipping company had to use bigger ship to ship the cars ...give and take cars that enter naija will get issue ,it's like me saying I maintain my cars better than 80% of car owners on uber ... Tyche:Yes I get what jesuson2020 is saying ...but keep in mind not all partners are the same... yes it is true that maintenance can eat up your profit.... But a lot of partners are not hands on their business, most will let the drivers handle the servicing of their cars , I will never allow that ...I do bring in parts for my cars, which a lot of partners can't do , I do have trusty mechanics ,and more importantly I screen my drivers and I try to be fair to them. And also the type of cars matter .. I use civics which are cheaper for me to get.. The civics are very strong and the maintenance on it is very cheap... Unfortunately I hate to admit the civics 2003 to 2005 are stronger than the Elantra ...I am not saying that Elantra is not a strong car or not suitable for uber ..but on the business side of things the Civics pays me more when compare to Elantras and the Corolla... For years have been shouting and preaching to owners to do the basics maintenance on theirs especially using good engine oil ...but some will hear and do and others will say am trying to sell market .. Than at the end people will wonder how I was able to run my business successfully .... The conclusion here is that the points I listed as help me to maximize profits.. Yes at times repairs will eat most of your profit... but if u get a good mechanic and good parts it will reduce the eating of your profit... To go back to Jesusson2020 point.. When I had my old no good for nothing bleaching manager.. The profits I was making in one week. The manager will come back and collect it .. He will tell car spoil etc and funny enough it seems that we keep fixing the same issue that he collected money from. The money given to change oil ,he will not do it or better yet he will 5k naira oil .. I had to sell 4 out of 5 elantra because of him ..he basically ruined the engine .. This is how I got into the engine oil business. But at the end of the day am still here.. After changing mechanics and manager my outlook on the business has been very encouraging... Ps .. The old bleaching manager finally turn to police matter .when the bleaching manager try to sell one of my cars to my ex driver.. At the time the manager stated that I should sell one of my cars due to frequent repairs. So he said the car can only sell for 400k due to frame damage . So behind my back he told my ex driver to bring 600k that he will sell him the car ..The ex driver gave him 500k and than he will balance 100k while he still drives the car ... so when driver finally give manager is full money to release car .. Manager was giving excuse up and down.. Driver will call manager to get paper for car ,manger go lie up and down.. Until driver finally came to tell us what was going on ... so what we did was to tell the manager that we needed the car for a trip. Manager drop car for us ,two one week later manager wanted the car back . We told him we sold the car .. Now manager and ex driver turn to police matter. Ex driver wants is money back, manager no get car to give ..police station matters. Finally manager return the money and we now sold the car to ex driver for 600k ... We use brain for manager .. 9 Likes |

Readonee35L:The African market is a dumping ground for a lot of goods. quality control is not aggressively enforced in Nigeria.. Unlike the USA , if any company fails the guidelines in the USA ,the government will fine them. This is how the government makes money.. For an example there was a major oil spill in the USA years ago by a Major oil company ..the oil company had to pay billions in fine .. If that spill occurred in Nigeria ,the fine will be very little or none at all ... My point is that foreign companies do the bare minimum when it comes to making goods for Nigeria market.. It is not their fault at all ..since the government dont aggressively enforce the rules. Quality control is out the window ... Do u think Toyota cars built in Nigeria will have the same quality as the USA ? Chances those Toyota will be made only for the Nigeria market. It might be a different type of Toyota self, but it will be built by Toyota |

slosempire:If the engine oil cap says use 5w30 use it o ..u can read the car manual ,sometimes it tells u if 5w30 is not available than use 5w20. Than next oil change go back to 5w30 |

slosempire:Those oil are formulated for the African market... I will never use them on cars at all.. Most cars on the Nigeria roads are from the USA ... The USA government mandates that any cars coming to the USA have to follow guidelines .. So in essence the oils been used have to follow strict guidelines too ... so resulting in better oil and good for the environment too.. When it comes to cars people will prefer American spec overall, but in some cases Japan toyota engine is better made than their counter part in USA built better. Mercedes Benz built in Germany is much stronger ,faster than the USA .. Corolla built for the USA market is better than the ones built in South Africa or Canada ,and the list goes on and on ... Cars like the Nissan Gtr is built in Japan and sold in the USA ...better quality . I can go on and on and on .but I don' t have time |

zeez88:High mileage oil is design for cars that are 75k miles and up.. This is by Mobil 1 oil .. I use them on my personal cars and uber cars. The have more additives to protect high miles cars. The older your engine is the more the seals are weaken and wear and tear will increase.. You need better oil to reduce the unwanted fractions in your engine... go for high miles |

Graphene:Unfortunately I don't sell Castrol oil ...very good oil 5w30 Mobil 1 Extended Performance is available.. But u need to hurry and call .... I sell in bulk to various customers across Nigeria.. So once my goods arrives it sells in weeks in bulk.. Below is a delivery that was purchase outside Lagos.... 3 Likes 1 Share
