Thank you ma. I saw Dextron 111 for Automatic transmission. My question is, can I use any Dextron 111? I have been using only Toyota type IV since I bought the car and did a complete ATF, only once since then. Any time it gets low, I just top it off with 1 lite of Toyota type IV.

The issue you should be concerned with is why your transmission oil is getting low..

There is a reason why Carquest is the second biggest seller in the US. We don't need Amazon. Carquest oil is made by Amalie. Google them

Anyways, you're obviously capable of independent thought. I'm not worried about where you get your oil and filter, just that you get the right ones for your car and dru23 gets a first of his own medicine

I don't want to get more buck for my money.. Allow me to waste my money that I worked hard for..
On my car, oil change is the less/cheap maintainance item I worry about

So you are free to do 100k oil change.. Personally i won't.. Get it!! I will follow my vehicle manufacturer advice not oil seller/company

One of the inbuilt advantages that RadAuto has is that they not only sell part but they also run a repair shop. SO you can rest assured that they sell parts based on lessons learned form the shop.

And most importantly of all, they represent one of Americas premier auto sales outlet. There are significant requirements here they would have won a franchise.

But most of this if not all will be lost on average Nigerians who are used to buying from Okonkwo at Alaba. But some of us, like you, get it.

PS: I'm using Madam as a test case. Her being her sis the best thing that has happened to me business wise since I started planning my retirement to Nigeria. I think I'll just enjoy my retirement, travel all over the world checking things off my bucket list than to open an auto shop in Nigeria.

Well, I maintain my corolla with grade a tokunbo parts.

Alternator you listed is 10k tokunbo, to change the kitting less than 1500, it's the kitting that normally spoil

Front shock is 4k each without spring, the spring will be there forever hardly spoil.

Back shock 3500 each without spring.

Some stuff I buy tokunbo some new one.

Brake pad corolla wholesale in trade fair is 1800, retail outlet some sell 2500/3000

Stabilizer leakage the 2pcs is 1200 whole sale price in trade fair. Retail sale for 1800/2000

This are common things that spoils in corolla.

The spare parts are very cheap forget mechanic quotation. Forget this one na original this one na fake all parts comes from China, some repackage to sell it expensive.

To buttress her point, if you want to use Extended Performance engine oil, ensure you get a complimentary oil filter that can do 10,000 or 15,000 miles.

Don't use Extended Performance on a 3,000 miles oil filter, if you use a 3,000 miles oil filter to run Extended Performance 15,000 miles you are setting your car engine up for sludge.

The oil filter is as important as the engine oil.

If you get it right with the engine oil, also get it right with the OIL FILTER. If you get engine oil right and get oil filter wrong, you haven't done any good to your car.
