Gentlelife50: Add TIN number Uber partners , take am easy this raining season.. This is time that car owners go hear from mechanic.. Don't be in a rush to put your car on the road or add more to your fleet.. This is the season that drivers will drive car inside flood and engine, shaft, radiator go knock... don't be penny wise and pound foolish o.. Partners don't blame driver during this period, we all have to take responsibility for the decisions that we make as business people o .. Am not saying don't put your car on the road during season, am saying if you do carry your brain along ... A word is enough for the wise....

GAZZUZZ: castrol is a mess. Preferably use mobil 0w-40 or total quartz 9000.
For a vehicle abused for so long, don't get your hopes up, you might have underlying issues that have been hiding under the condition of a cold running engine.
What to expect.
Possible oil shortage
Possible coolant leaks
So pay attention to fluids on a daily basis so you do not get caught of guard. Can you kindly explain how castrol is mess.. Is the USA spec a mess .. Base on facts the USA spec oil will need to pass basic quality test from API before they are sold... in my view if castrol is a mess including USA spec, I wonder the castrol Nigeria will be ? When buying these oil , I normally read the reviews, especially when buying any product.. From my view castrol review had 4.5 out 5 stars from 200 users ... when you now look at the numbers of reviewer ,numbers don't lie ... for me personally USA Castrol will be better than any imported oil coming into Nigeria.... We can agree to disagree that any oil imported into Nigeria will probably have a high chance that it will not pass the USA standard... so for me I will use usa spec Castrol on all my fleet ... Again am not picking a fight over your view or trying to force usa spec Castrol on anybody.. Am just curious as to why you came to the conclusion that castrol oil is a mess ...the Nigerian castrol might be a mess, but what about usa ones.. |

If it's inconvenient for the driver,he can go on rental pending when he is ready for bigger challenge like HP. That's why drivers need to pull together and fashion out ways to reduce this work like an elephant, eat like an ant Mr. Man, are you aware that sterling bank is giving out auto loans ..read through the post and it will give you more information on how to apply for autoloan ..the loan is very simple to get ..so that your toiling days will be over.. mrsage: Food for Thought
E hailing business.... Time To Reflect.
A wise man once said, "without reflection, we go blindly on our way".
Our business has gone through several stages. From the Cabu Cabu era to the Yellow taxi era, then the E hailing era.
E hailing came as an unexpected force and we all know that Uber ( the change agent ) has come to disrupt the market.
Now initially the going was good. Partners and drivers made good money.
Then gradually, fuel price increase and recession raised it's ugly head. Our dear Uber also decided to reduce fares. We all know the story.
Now my question is this: Are we really making Profit? And if the answer is Yes, at what cost?
Partners, drivers and stakeholders in the house , let's have a honest conversation. Yes you are very correct my brother... some weeks profit made goes to repairs . This business is up and down..this is the reason I tell partners, assurance, assurance and assurance deposit should be a must.. By the time you put money aside for repairs, bad driver join the equation, raining season add is own ontop ..it is very difficult, but I belife once you can figure out a system to over come the challenges the business will be profitable. But in my humble opinion, the business is not profitable to a lot of people.. As long as new and old partners refuse to put in certain things in place that will reduce their risk ,the business will never be profitable.. Aslong as we don't have a system that weeds out bad drivers, that keeps jumping from one partner to another like the ladies of the night ..the business will not be profitable.. Till than only the strong and the smart ones will survive.. It is a good business, it is a cash flow business.. But owners need to finds ways to reduce their risk ... most uber Partners that refuse to collect asssurance or that fail to put in things to reduce their risk, those ones I can't pity ..due than it is doggy dog eat world.. |

nitigriti: Guys, there's a difference between a target or plan and execution. My post says "on most days", "I target"; it doesn't mean I do this everyday.
For instance this week, 1) Monday afternoon, from 2:00pm till 7:00 pm, I was at home with my wife and son. Nothing much was happening on the road 2) Saturday, I started work for the day by 3:30pm. I slept overnight Friday and my son came to wake me up in the morning. We had fun hanging out
Typical full day for me is 5:00am to 12:00 pm, I do my first shift of 7 hours; then chill (park the car somewhere and sleep or read or write or browse (I have an office in Ikeja)) till 4:00pm when there will be requests from people going home. By 8:00pm, I've set my destination to Egbeda, around that time too, I buy fuel from the nearest Heyden station - Ajah, Alapere, Oyingbo or Ikeja Along area.
If you aim for the heavens, even if you don't achieve your aim, at least you will be up there among the stars It reminds me a quote from Jayz . He said even if I try and fall, I will fall on money ..either way he can't lose |

TheCar: Abi YesBody get good offer on ground oooo.
You just need to make NGN 300,000 weekly consistently for 12 weeks to meet one of the conditions.
At least the 60 Uber Drivers he need for 20k daily rental for pre campaign election in Lagos would be using their private cars for the purpose instead of rented cars.
I would be disappointed to find out that YesBody is still paying weekly rental to somebody after showing us this great opportunity.
Below is a simple calculation for the great offer, YesBody has made available to everyone.
The total interest to be paid using 24% per annum is just NGN1,800,000 plus the loan amount of NGN2,500,000 and other conditions to be fulfilled.
Like someone said, this offer is far better than HP offered on this thread.
YesBody, welcome to the other side of business. The Car Owners part. Hmmmm... hopefully cars no go damage during the campaign o ... |
