ACM10: €70m for 70 million id cards = €1/card.I doubt you can produce a quality id card with €1. |
leighcon: Did well! 10kobo = 10 (sweet alangba) while 30kobo = 1 doughnut, days when coke(thick bottle) was 70kobo and crush/seveup family was 65kobo. 1 kobo was fading out then but then we still gather 5 and spend. N1 (red and later green coulour) was the big boys money sprayed at parties.Man you remind me of old days. I also spent the paper's one before it was made to coins. We called that sweet (Eyin Alangba) lizards eggs. |
ACM10: Hmm, na wa o.Its €170m contract and not 70m euro. |
Billyonaire: One woman to one man isnt just natural. You tell a lady, I got a girl, and she says " It dont marra, give me a date"Exactly, it happen sometime. |
Nice points. |
MacDaddy01: First human beings from africaSir,do you thing all these are new to me? Definitely no. Anything that's not subjected to empirical analysis or explanation is not worth to be take as evidence/facts. And since both of cannot take our facts to laboratory and get the same result, our facts are subject to speculation/doubt. |
MacDaddy01: You are talking nonsense. Ijaw, Urhobo and Itsekiri are all different people. Only god knows where you got your misinformation fromHow did you arrived into the conclusion that the first people in the world were from Africa? I got my facts the same way you get yours in the history you read that the first human exist in Africa. Are you telling me your people has been there since the inception of the world?I.e God creates you in the Niger-Delta soil or you all dropped from the sky? Why can't you simple denies by providing another reasonable points or accept and stop commenting. |
MacDaddy01: Most delatan tribes are not nomadic. We have always been in Western Africa.Time and spaces will not permit me to explain fully but in short; Niger-Deltan people are descendants of ancient tribe of Afica know as ORU(your ancestor UJO ORU) also know as IJO ORU in the ancient time. These people were said to be descended from ancient upper Egypt and palestine(near MECCA/ARABIA). Through lake Chad region(Bornu) on to the Borgu/Nupe region, downed to Ile-Ife and Binin regions before finally settling in the present Niger-Delta. If all these are true, definitely there must be a correlation between your traditional religions and the middle east. |
The last time I went to Osun-State, the power supply in the area I stayed was like 19/24hrs daily. The state is also peaceful. |
MacDaddy01: Sorry, I know about Niger-Delta and some Benin tribes only. Dont have time for WAZOBIAInteresting! Where did Niger-Deltans and Binin's descended from? |
mkmyers45: So it is impossible to say that all religion emanated from middle east....Hmmmmmm,*sigh* |
MacDaddy01: You did so when yo claimed that african traditional religions came from the middle east! Most that I know of a rooted in their tribes.May be I did not aware that it's an indirect insults to our ancestors. Beside, what are your views about descendants, given Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo as a case study? |
mkmyers45: Possible...but you know quite alright that we can hold them as true especially the fact that 8 people = 7,000,000,000 in 4,500 years? If we do follow that way then your claim maybe true but what of the pygmies of congo for example...are they and their beliefs from middle east too? It's possible because Pygmies people could be found in any forest zones across Asia,Africa and South America. Remember there are also pygmies in Australia, Indonesia, Philippines,Brazil,Malaysia,Thailand,Pupau new Guinea etc. So their origins is quite difficult to ascertained if you ask me. |

mkmyers45: from where did you get this version of the story? The same place you likely obtain yours (history books/sites) which might be true/false. |
MacDaddy01: Sorry, for the abuse!Sir, I don't know where in my previous posts I gave credit to foreigners, neglecting or insulting our forefather. |
Pastor AIO: christianity, Islam, Judaism (baha'i) came from the middle east. These 3/4 are not all the religions in the world. As regards to IFA you mentioned in your comment, according to history Yoruba people were believed to be descendant from middle east(s.Arabia). He Oduduwa along with other people/servants migrated from Mecca and were eventually settled in Ile-Ife. So,If these were true, from where did they brought the ideas of IFA? |
Eazy J: Concerning d issue of tithes,It is written in Malachi 3:8 dat we rob God if we dont pay tithes & offerings but if we do,God said He will rebuke devourers 4 our sake.Pastors images on hand bills doesn't mean they r selling demselves. Iagree partially wif u on d 3rd point but dere r problems dat dnt require addressing shortcomings but fasting &praying. There's nofin wrong in inviting pple 4 revivals and programmes. What can u say abt some1 who was invited 4 revival and got saved?I think the poster was talking about those pastor who scared/demanded tithe from their congregation by telling them the false consequence of not paying. |
MacDaddy01: You are freaking mad. What kind of uncle tom/slave are you? Who told you that African Traditional religions come from the middle east? Better gerrout with that nonsense. Can you explain how my local Niger-Deltan paganism came from the middle east?Your first paragraph is quite insultive and lacked basis for constructive criticism/argument. If you were not agreed with my comments, the best thing you ought to do is to prove me wrong with your and not by using abusive word on me. Remember this's religion section and not jokes, romance/sexuality sections where we can just say what suits our feelings when commenting. And one more thing you must know is that, no sensible NL members would comment in this section without any source of information. We all depends on various histories/sources to obtain fact, which might be true/false. @ The first people were from Africa and most far asian religions were older than those of middle east. Were you part of the said first people? Does any religions actually started in the generation you're part of? Since you and I were not there then, how do we know the truth? |
mkmyers45: From a global worldview there has to be a lot of gods to cater for all religions that want to follow one god or the other meanwhile....in reality there may no god at allFrom one true superior/supernatural being GOD. Actually each religion in the world claims divine signs to their God, but if you can do more research, you will realize that all of them are interwoven and originated from MIDDLE EAST. Even our own traditional African religions/practice. On that basis,it's possible we called the same God in different views/ways and understanding. |
mkmyers45: How do you know i am an atheist? Ever heard me say that?Sorry if you are not, your username looks like that of a notable atheist in this section. Beside, did you believes in existence of different type of Gods? If yes,how did you arrived into such conclusion? |
mkmyers45: It depends on the type of god the op is talking about...I knew you're atheist who believes not in existence of God/gods, how comes you talking about existence of various Gods here? |
MacDaddy01: That is a lie.In my own view, religions people on NL did not dislike atheists but their incessant claims of being intellectuals thinkers/superior minds. Atheists sees religious people particular christians as dumb, gullible, hypocrites for accepting the scriptures. I quite agree that,at times scriptures were misinterpreted by many dubious pastor, but shouldn't be the basis for atheists criticism of christianity. These and among others are what we're trying to balance while fighting on a topic and not the other way round. |

alaoeri: Man shall not live with one channel rather explore more channels while women shall taste different joystick to know the variation in size, thickness, length & sweetness.Exactly! But against our culture and traditions particular on the side of women. |

Una never stop posting? |
Fine,if God didn't creates religions, what makes you conclude that he actually exist? Remember there must be something responsible for your acceptance of his existence, what are those factors? |
