Are you not someone enemy?
Christianity EtcRe: Praying For Your Enemies To Die, Is It Right Or Wrong? by Dsage1: 11:40pm On Aug 26, 2012
It's quite illogical to pray for one's enemies to die because everybody must be someone enemy.

@op, find another girl as a backup before it's too late. If she love you,she would've tell you the reasons she can't married you.

Another reason is may be she was still afraid of your family behavior especially that of you mother.
Christianity EtcRe: These Categories Of Pastors Are Fake! by Dsage1: 6:52pm On Aug 26, 2012
Are you a Christian? If yes, stop going to church if you like because all the pastors did at least one of things you stated above.

bright007: Why all this noise?.Anybody with å sound mind should know that what d boy did was not endemic to igboland but is in every tribe, state, etc. This report is an isolated case that eventually found its way to d jury and now the media. If u go through d write-up carefully,u will see that the boy was bailed with N50000 meaning he was not poor up to the extent of not been able to feed.
My point here is dat we all sholud improve on our reasoning because I believe there is more to this story than just that the boy beat his mother up all because of food.I believe he had issues with his mum. However,he has no excuse whatsoever for beating up his mum
I disagreed with you,I doubt if a Yoruba guy can raised his hand at his mother for failure to prepared his meals.

God bless you. Don't mind that Ayobase guy, who know whether he can't even put his kobo to forex trade, let alone given money to someone else.

Forex trade business is actually real but require a lot of patient, consistency and readiness to loose. In 2007 when the news of forex trade was all over the place, I attended seminars, trade with people, buying different materials etc. My friend and i lost up to 800 dollar including money I used to open domicilary account or whatever before we realized that this thing is more than what people were saying.

Give your money out and enter another (gbese)debt.

You can give/use your hard earned millions to trade, nobody will kill you for that but don't just borrow money to do internet business again. You don't go to internet business with the motive of making huge profit at initial stage,so why needs to borrow money.

First answer - satisfied.

Second answer - if soul is separated from the body as you claimed, definitely it could exist independent of the body. What are the core functions of the soul? What distinguish the soul from the spirit(reasonable instances)? Is soul different or the same in every human?

Third answer - You referred spirit as electromagnetic energy in your previous post, now it's soul, why?

As regards to the dream,I saw it as a reflection of my physical identity which might be spirit/soul. That's why i like Plato philosophical assumptions.

@tobicool,no 1 and 2 is ok, the rest are out of it.

@op, since you don't have any means of getting the money for now,the best you can do is to simply drop that 30k and pay the rest later. Belief me, he/she can't kill you because of 110k, the worst he can do is to get you arrested.

But you sef, how can you borrow money to do online business for God sake. Assuming you're in the same shoe with the lender, how would you feel if someone failed to pay you back on agreed time? Learn from your mistake.

Christianity EtcRe: God Defined; The Faith Is Electromagnetic Not Christianic by Dsage1: 10:51pm On Aug 24, 2012
Billyonaire: Dark Energy is all-pervasive sea of energy that actually make up the Universe and keep everything held together. Its like asking what cement is in our building. For you to understand the deep insights of these energy frequencies, you need to understand the cosmic make up of man. The physical, the soul and the spirit. Lets use illustration: Watch the water pipe that water flows from your well; Take the pipe as the human physical body. Take the water as the Soul and Take the pressure that pushes the water as the spirit. When the pressure is exerted the water follows through the pipe. if pressure is removed, the water stops flowing. And the water stays stagnant or returns to source. When spirit is off, souls return to source and hangs in there waiting for pressure to be exerted again. The pressure (spirit)in physical realm is all pervasive, is it now surprising when the Bible stated that the "spirit of God covers the surface of the sea" during the story of creation? The soul hangs/floats/etc and waits for pressure to rejuvenate the process or return to the well (source). Now the well is the source, where all energies, souls came from. The spirit is the pressure and human bodies is dysfunctional without it. just like nothing without water (soul), not just humans, trees, animals all have these souls and you can deduce when African men in fairy tales used to transmute the spirits of lions etc. You can also deduce why people worship trees and miracles occur. Now, what is the well in this context. The well is the source of water (soul)...Universe and who are the plumbers. Remember when God said, 'let "us" make man in our own image' in the bible ? It wasnt just one energy being that created the world as depicted by that Biblical statements. I cant say how many they were. But Let "US" make man in "OUR" own image sounds like many beings (plumbers) were involved. The dark matter/energy are these water remnants in pipe waiting for pressure and the the energies flow our of the channels which are called the black holes. Isnt it funny how humans in their physical scientific minds give funny names to what they dont understand ? I believe you can picture entropy from my write-up.
According to your example/explanation,

Pipe - human body
Water- soul
Pressure- spirit. Which means, soul and body were stagnant while pressure(spirit) ensured its efficiency.

Since soul and spirit are both invisible, how did you arrived into such conclusion?

Did the soul remains with the body when the spirit goes off?

Are you refers soul to be blood, heart or any other visible organs in our body or what? I Just don't understand.
Christianity EtcRe: God Defined; The Faith Is Electromagnetic Not Christianic by Dsage1: 10:18pm On Aug 24, 2012
@op, why are you thinking like atheists. why can't you simply says, miracles are as a result of out faith instead of all those long and needless analysis.

The Bible also confirm it that with faith, one can commands a mountain to move,so what are you trying to explains here?

And get this fact right, scientists could only tried but would never ever discover the fundamental causes of spirit/spirituality. It's beyond human understanding and has to do with our faith as you explained in your post.

It depends on how important/relevance your topic are,to the people to make the front page. At time, the topic you thought was the best could be poorly analyzed/constructed to attracts contributions from viewers. On the other hand,if a particular topic you expected to make the front page is more analyzed/explained by another poster,of course yours would be set aside.

I'm not a regular poster but almost five of my topics has made the front page.

I'm in a dither about what to do. A student of a federal varsity in the east. Will be in sophomore by October. Just wondering if there can be serious pros or cons in having a girlfriend in school as I wouldn't want any thing to jeorpadise my academic success.
Additionally and for emphasis, can lack of same (girlfriend), impede one's interpersonal relationship in the outside world?
Furthermore, would it be a wise course to jettison same so as to face one's studies squarely.

Rationative counsel will be appreciated overmuch.

You guys should please stop sharing bad dream/news about dream, its dangerous to the readers as well as scaring. Please 90% of our dreams are what we have heard, seen, feel, touch, perceived or experiences before we sleep. The remaining 10% is future event that God reveal to some people(not all) and it depends on your believes.

To me, any dreams I could remember when I wake up will never come to pass.

The truth is that it your case it psychological after seeing few cases of coincidence of what your mother pronounced came through. Indeed, the only solution is to remove your mind from what you believe in as supernaturals because there is no spec of such in existence. Use your brain, please. Use your brain and your will be fine.
Exactly what I was about to say. Sister stop thinking that your mother could hurt you in one way or other, it's a sin against God. Once you're covered by the blood of Jesus, there is nothing anybody can do with your life except God permit.

Omo Alata: All of us have no idea what we've done to offend her. I have 3 siblings living in Lagos, they have moved house and not given mum their new addresses (they say they are hiding their heads and I can't say I blame them). If mum is not careful, she will die a lonely woman. Sometimes I wonder why she decided to have children huh

If she asks for £20 and you give her £10, she will hold her boobs and private part and cuss shocked No appreciation for the little things. I could go on and on and on.

Anyway, my Lord is bigger than whatever she believes in!!
Really pathetic, but I want you guys to know that your mother is just rigid and not a witch or something else. She just don't like the way you and your siblings were behaved, remember she was the one who brought you to where you are today(mayb I wrong).

Your mum might seems to be wicked to you but at the same time, you have to take/accept her for who she is in order to have peace of mind in which you deserved. I quite understood what you are passing through but you have to take things as it is, perform your responsibility as a daughter and leaves the rest for God. There is nothing impossible for God. Goodluck sister.

PoliticsRe: Reasons Why ACN And CPC Alliance Will Fail by Dsage1: 2:43pm On Aug 16, 2012
noblezone: I think that one of the major contributors to the narrow way we look at things, is that Africans generally ideal away their time with lazy thoughts. Our fore fathers trusted the gods and blamed the gods for every thing that happened to them. Even malaria was blamed on the gods. We find it easy to blame others for our misfortune rather than look inwards.
Today, we are waiting for over night "break through", over night miracles. We want a super president who will just come and after 3 months in office, would have had all our roads constructed, all hospitals working. Finish off all armed robbers and militant groups, give us fuel free, education at all levels free, free 24 hours electricity, promote students who refused to study, pay everyone an allowance and we all "shall live happily ever after".

Today, parents pay money for other persons to write exams for their children, they pay money for them to get admission, pay for them to graduate, pay for them to get jobs and contracts, pay money for them to get big offices, yet we turn around to blame the government. It is Nigerians who destroyed Nigeria.

We need to get back to he grass roots. We need to talk. Nigeria must be restructured. What type of education does the man from Borno want for his children? One of my kids (about 6 yrs old) wants to become a doctor, and I will do all I can to give her the best opportunity, will the man in Borno do same for his daughter? Does he want his children to learn Arabic studies instead? Shall we share resources together? The federal purse is used to subsidize Arabic studies but I must raise all monies my daughter will need to study medicine and after that she must be sent to Borno where I will scared of her safety, while the Borno man would keep his own daughter in doors, teaching her nothing but Islamic laws.

These are the fundamental issues. We need to have an ideology. This national ideology must cut across the North to the South to the West to the East. Who are the patriots? What was Azikiwe's dream of Nigeria? What was Awolowo's dream of Nigeria? What was Ahmadu Bello's dream of Nigeria? Did these men have the same dream? What makes Nigeria a nation? What is the Nigerian Dream? Do we have Nation Builders today?

I am yet to see the national ideals of the PDP, the ACN, the CPC and all the other parties. We have members of the opposition both in the senate and in the house of rep, why have they not teamed up and remove immunity clause, and caught down on their allowances and salaries?

Until we get the fundamentals right, we will only be deceiving ourselves. WE need to call for a national conference and discuss Nigeria. We need to come to agreements on we should move forward.

Because we don't have any ideals as a nation, people were protesting against the arrest and prosecution of James Ibori. Bode Goerge had traditional dancers waiting for him on the day he was sentenced and on the day he released from prison. Honorable Faruk had sympathizers even in Nairaland whether he was guilty or not is immaterial. Why was the subsidy protest lopsided? Why was the south south and the south east in support of the complete removal while the north and the west moved against it with all their mights? This is the puzzle about Nigeria. Everything is seen from ethnic and religious point of view.

Sanusi has turn down the works of Soludo and if you bring another CBN governor from the South part, he will go a different direction from Sanusi. Do you know why? There is no national ideals. Sanusi is more interested in Islamic banking and the secular banks had to die for the Islamic bank to come up. since he was appointed, do you know how many bankers that have lost their jobs? These are the fundamental issues.

The citizens of Nigeria are all "aliens" to the Nation called Nigeria. So the Minister of sports will think of how the ministry will benefit the people of his region first before Nigeria. We are interested in quota system more than the merit system. My heart is bleeding!

One of the top echelons of the AC that later became the ACN is Atiku! Abacha's son accused of looting during his fathers stay as the head of state was a guber candidate for the CPC in Kano. Uche Ekwunife, a member of the House of Rep from Anambra left the PDP and joined Orji Kalu's party to contest the guber seat in Anambra and after the elections, went back to the PDP.

All these people were crying for change!

What sort of change are we talking about? Who are these agents of change? Tinunbu? Atiku? Buhari? Bakare? El Rufia?
Please, I want the names of these "radicals" who will not blink an eye to tame the ethnic/religious demons troubling Nigeria.

Apart from Bakare, the rest have tested political power but governing a complex country like Nigeria is different from pastoring a church! Bakare must know this. In the recent time he is over stepping his grounds, threatening violence and calling for anarchy. I don't envy him.

Tinunbu, please tell us how clean you are! you never stole public funds? Please sir, what is your ideal? What is the ideal of the ACN? Where is the impact of such ideals in the national Assembly?

Buhari, you and your misguided "elite" army officers truncated our democracy and you became the head of state through the power of the gun. Hope you can recall how relieved Nigerians were the day IBB announced your removal because under your government, Nigerians were terrorized as if we were in a war. You muzzled the law and ruled by decrees. You stifled the press and never wanted democracy. You were so happy when Abach had sympathy on you an called you to head the PTF = "Petroleum Thieving Funds?". Sir, what change do you really have in mind? What do you know about governance? Sir, government is different from war! Unfortunately, your training as a soldier had made you to be so narrow minded, and without realising it, you shout "change or blood will flow" but fail to tell us the kind of change. What is your ideal and what is the ideal of the CPC? Where did people kill in your name chanting "Sai Buhari" as they slaughtered their victims?

Atiku you went back to the PDP but in those days, you so much campaigned against the PDP that it was only AC and you that had the interest of Nigerians at heart. I am disappointed in you.

El Rufia, you were there with OBJ in his days as the maximum ruler. You were part and parcel of what made OBJs government tick. Now, I don't really understand what you are saying. Please explain it.

Okay for the sake of argument, Fahsola of ACN, Oshimole of ACN are doing great, but let me point out here that they doing great has nothing to do with the ACN as a party. Chris Ngige was PDP when he turned the light on in Anambra State. Donald Duke of Cross River was PDP, Amechi is doing milestone projects in Rivers and he is PDP. And let me tell you, Dickson in Bayelsa is showing signs of a brave heart, and he is PDP.

Rochas of Imo would still be Rochas irrespective of party name. It would not had made any difference if he is PDP, ACN or APGA.

It is time to think right. I need to know the patriots, show me the agents of change! Stop pursuing shadows in the name of parties. They are all the same. The only change that will help Nigeria today is, a national conference. Thats my party. Join us.
@ Noblezone, why don't you leaves the history and let face the current situation.

Although, you ignored some the questions I asked in other thread as regard to SNC you always claims we needed, but I'm here again to let you know the following;

1. Unless we adopt confederal system of govt or disintegrate, nothing can stop the issues of ethnicity.

2. Though non of Nigerial pol parties have a clear/genuine party ideology but they're different in term of party's disciplines and focuses.

3.If you say all pol parties were the same, under which platform should we seek for a change.

4. You must be joking by saying individual achievement has nothing to with the party, hmmmm, I laugh. That statement shows that you only understand the theory but not practical aspect of politics.

5. If country eventually call for SNC, what will you do if it's not different from a normal discussion in the National Assembly?

6. Lastly, as a political scientist,analyst/theorist, what do we citizens do to ensure this change? Also, what do expect the outcome of your so called SNC to be?

gsalvatore: stop shouting about what you don't know. Are you voting for a candidate or a party? So you mean if acn or cpc unveils an unworthy candidate then you will vote for the party jst because u think party initiates a decision, candidate sells the party, wake up and look at the big piCture, dont be biased....naija don rotten already,military,hausa/fulanis/yorubas don mess our belove naija and GEJ is trying to clean it. most of the wahala u see and hear is because of wind of change blowing over(before most of them will go unnoticed). So don't crucify GEJ(lemme not use PDP) for trying afterall am almost sure that those merger players in your so called west and north won't do any better if they are to be president now even you. Naija wahala wasn't built in a day and you can't clean in a day no matter the party you may come from.
You must be silly, did I in anywhere crucify GEJ in my previous posts.

@ GEJ is trying to cleans up or fixed our problem, I pity you guys.

Actually, I love GEJ as a person but his administration is not but total flop and embarasment to the country in both home and abroad.

1.Formulation of wrong policy.

2. He impoverish the masses through removal of fuel subsidy in the name of fishes out the oil thiefs.

3. Over 900b was allocated for security of life and properties with nothing to show for it.

I could continue but let me reserve my comment till the end of his tenure because he can still turn a new leaf. But if he continue like this, my brothers in SW are ready to vote him out.

noblezone: I wish that Nigeria's problems are really 13 years old.

In 2014, our problem will be 100 years old. It all started in 1914 when Lord Luggard the "political scientist" went to his "lab" to mix the non-mixable and mistakenly produced Nigeria.

What is our National ideology? Can the man from Borno and the man from Anambra ever sit down and agree on a common vision? Nigeria is so ethnically and religiously divided that the parties are nothing but mere acronyms.

Besides, I am yet to see the front line politicians with any form of National concepts and national ideology. Nigeria is not a nation. You guys can hope against hope but just know that it doesn't matter who becomes the head of state, progress will still be slow.
I'm quite agree with you that Nigeria is so ethnically and religiously divided and that, our problem started with the amalgamation of Jan 1914 by Lugard. But on a more serious note, PDP has failed Nigerians since inception of democracy in 1999. Therefore,a series of changes must occur in 2015.

And who are those to effect such a change is what I don't know at least for now.
