A kot of Nigerians go to church not because they love or fear God but because of what they hope to gain from praying to him and profitable connections to other church members.

When they get abroad and dont need prayers to have their basic and aspirational needs met, and do not need "connections" to advance in life ...God and his church becomes useless to them.
