mikkyphp:Hmmm, i think we need a kinda repository where everyone can upload stuff they got and wonno share. Then its downloadable by anyone. I'm just thinking here. |
Sprumbaba:Awesome! Got CS4. LoL I had a large archive of DW CS4 Extensions. I wanted to get a list of them over here if you saw any you didnt have. Went to the location where it should be and found out (from the logs i made) i deleted them around November ![]() The FW Extenstions and Commands, how large are they(put together)? That would determine what transfer medium to use. Sprumbaba:Well I'm doing it cuz I can't afford to allow a graphic dude make me look irresponsible b4 a client a second time. You give out a graphics design job, the dude spends eternity on it only to mail me the finished stuff and i'm like . . ."dude is this it? i could do this myself d'uh where's all your wow stuff? u giving me solid colors in boxes" |
Sprumbaba:You got any cool FW extensions or written commands you could share? Just started taking interest in web graphics design. Here's something i did in FW Click Here |
ya ya ya wateva ![]() Yawa I think its time you should confess. Me thinks its about 10 pipz running this yawa-ti-de ID. Y'all take shifts ![]() Would like to know something you don't know ![]() The "you" above is referring to the 10 yawaz running this ID ![]() |
B'but. . . ![]() Ok, wait first let me read up on this serverside thing and confirm it is not what i think it is. brb |
Wordpress HighSlide JS Plugin http://projects.jesseheap.com/all-projects/wordpress-highslide-js-plugin |
pc guru:I don't understand what you mean by writing javascript on the serverside however I want to add this. Even if the javascript is carrying the Presidential seal (of US ofcourse not Nigeria, we don't have a president. . .how much more a seal) it won't run as long as javascript is turned off or disabled by the browser ![]() |
4congo:Blaze if you opt for this, please do well to spend some time in understanding the scripts generated by PHPmailer. |
and playing devil's advocate, what is the likelihood of one of google's many servers crashing versus yours crashing?
Google's has a higher chance. ![]() Greater publicity, higher chance. |
See this babe o. so u dey nairaland. mmmmm nice. so wetin happen to the daveeedah id? |
And when google crashes, yawa crashes ![]() Inasmuch as that's a joke, that's a possibility. ![]() |
pc guru:LoL. Now the Pros should go through these new features and tell if still makes sense for us to finish killing ourselves with 1.3 b4 moving on to 1.4 or we should just dump 1.3 for 1.4 at once. ![]() |
worldbest:Wrong ideology. |
Download and install WAMP. Its takes care of all the dodgy php apache configs. Then you can run your php pages from your WAMP server. For details on WAMP. Google. |
Donpuzo: Mehn, try this one mo time and its a choke slam you'll get from me. |
lmfao I'm new here sorry. Just lingering around here in a bid to get my mind off work. |
Whats with the buy this, buy that. . . from y'all? Take her out and make her feel special. You could go for a walk or cook together. |
sophy09:sadly, yes. |
mysterioux:Contact hostgator's online support. Hostgator's support is always online. That domain is pointing to their server. |
You may want to install a billing system on your site that takes care of Customer management, Customer support and billing (invoice & receipt generation). This will, in most cases not be provided by your host. You will have to get a license for the script and install by yourself. Examples of billing systems are: WHMCS (license is 18 usd per month) ClientExec (license is 15 usd per month) WHMAutopilot (cant remember how much this one costs) The above will only apply if you want to set up your reseller account to host sites for the general public. If it is an in-house thing for just your sites and sites for your clients you wont need all that. |
Maybe you should go and do a research on VPN and know the difference between a VPN and a VPS before flowing with the wind and getting tossed about by that guy in Computer Section. Why are u asking here when you're in contact with someone who claims to be using a "VPN"? |
The technical aspect will have to be with you managing your sites with a web application like Webhost Manager (WHM). You really dont have much to do, technically as a reseller. The technical burden is on the administrator(s) of the server you reseller account is running on. |
Dude just stumbled upon a "cool" wordpress plugin and just determined with his whole heart and mind that he'll use it on a site, however dumb and useless the purpose will be. FFS if this was a see through plugin (with the replacement of VP's pic with Beyonce's), it woulda made all the sense for a perve somewhere out there. ![]() |
Non-breaking spaces
Wow, this early and i'm already learning something. So that's what they called ehh? ![]() Nice. |
I'm not your sir ![]() Now say "yes sir!" ![]() |
Its not my way, its convention and best practice. ![]() |
By convention, styling and positioning should be left for CSS to handle. CSS can present itself in 3 forms, as far as i know External, Internal and Inline Specificity is used to determine who gets the meat, should there be any conflict among them 3. |
Donpuzo:Are you kidding me? Who in W3C's name set that as a convention? Then what happens to inline CSS? |
Donpuzo:<p><span style="padding-right:30px">Hello</span> I HONESTLY LOVE YOU!!!</p> Its neater, its 2010'er, and you command more respect from anyone (company or individual) viewing your source and from the browser too. as per the mail, i'll mail you tomorrow. ![]() |
