TalkWeb44:This is a wrong assertion and if we go by it, it would mean all Nigerian host service providers are resellers or what you call super resellers and that's wrong. You don't need to have servers sitting in the same geographical location as you for you to manage/admin them. No serious host firm will have its servers sitting in an office in its office complex. They either get their own datacenter, collocate their servers in a datacenter or lease the servers of the datacenters. In all 3 cases they have full access to the servers and are not resellers or super resellers. So, just cuz we don't have datacenters in Nigeria doesn't mean we cannot own servers and admin them remotely as is a general practice worldwide. I am in no way endorsing any host service provider, I speak from a neutral point. As for the guy advertising, you can do better than this. Don't look for people's downfalls to step on. |

Weldone bro. You should retire after this Too much work for one lifetime. |
Don't expect much, with the title of this thread alone. @Seun, if possible you can try to beg for this guy's data on his behalf. LoL active man, you can create a petition and get as many of us to sign it ![]() |
My Guarantee: Let one of the hundreds of clients on TruDigits and SiSVPS come here to make one valid complaint about a downtime or backup failure and I will shutdown both companies and make full refunds to every client. Its a dare, take it. ![]() You think its easy to run a webhosting business for 3 years with not a single server outage or downtime? I do my friggin' homework in pains, losing sleep while others get their sleep. I am reaping the benefits, so allow me. I have practically lost all social life spending 25 hours a day on this lifestyle that was originally meant to be a hobby then it turned to a job and now its a lifestyle cuz I know nothing outside this cycle. My point is, most people claim rights they THINK they SHOULD have, brother if it ain't in the TOS it ain't your right. I am not saying what web4africa did is humane but you cannot make any case because they have cleared themselves in the TOS. I am not shielding any client from speaking out and I still hold out that dare to any takers. |
ActiveMan:Disgracefully, not a single good review in the 10 reviews. All bad. I reserve further comments on this. By the way, you are owed nothing. Its clear in the TOS (that you most likely didnt read, like most people). They are not responsible for your data, you cannot make any legal case. Making bad statements about them (whether true or not) only makes your matter worse. Whatever data you are given from them is out of their good courtesy (if any). You have full responsibility for your data. Even if your data has been wiped from their server (which is not the case, as you still have the account in your WHM) your data can still be pulled out from their backups if the make daily, weekly and monthly. If they make just daily backups via rsync then I can't say much as to whether you still have your data in their backups. All the best in your web4africa dealings. |
barbara83:That's the problem we are still having in this country and some other places. Registering a domain with its host. Register your domain somewhere that allows you to manage DNS yourself or at least you can always request for those changes and host your domain with an entirely different provider. There's a one in a million chances your domain will have problems at its registration end. There's a very good chance your hosting can have problems at the host's end. So if your host has a problem and you want to abandon host its as simple as making a backup and then asking your domain registration service provider to point your domain to a different nameserver you specify. The people at the domain registration end will be more than happy to do that change for you, afterall the bad hosting concern dem? Nope. But when you have domain and host with the same bad belle company you are screwed. If you beef the host's service they take it out on your domain by seizing it (which is either legal or illegal depending on the terms of service binding between you and them. which you agreed to - but most likely didnt read cuz it was long and boring and the "usual terms naw" . |
unless you host the website urself, lolzzzzzzzzzzz
As long as it is on the internet and has an IP address (shared or dedicated), there's a 95% chance of bringing it down by abuse report or DMCA claims (if applicable) with the right words so hosting it in his toilet won't even cut the deal. |
<repeat> Before popping the next blood vessel you may want to clear the trash off your signature as its dead and gone, for good. </repeat> I am having so much fun at this dude's frustration sha. I suggest taking out your frustration on my sites. Hack and deface them with your "experience". ![]() |
kimberluge:Nice to have you back in PH. Not much has changed since your FGGC-PH days eh? ![]() |

50-paged website with each page needing a unique design? Who thought out this plan? I hope I am wrong. My recommendations though: Try the Nairaland member Ogzille. His site is bestvalueproviders.com |
LoL @ free site. Wherever that perception came from, I attribute it to your re.tarded thinking. Go run along and check the few cents your paid surveys have made for you. The offer to feed you and your entire family is still on the table. . . seeing as the table is at an unreachable height for you now, you only need some education and lots of comprehensive abilities to get to its height and grab the offer. Until then, keep begging for stolen credit cards. Lol @ the online beggar. OP, as advised you can move to another "platform" but do well not to come here and post it cuz the moment I see it, it is going down in 24 hours. That's a promise you should take to heart with all seriousness. The fool advising you has nothing at stake, you do so use your head. |
deco2come:No it wont. It will work wherever you move it to as long as it is on the domain meant for it. Further reading: http://www.ioncube.com/ |
Lol @ tht landlord, him badt na guys. ![]() One way to prevent that from happening is to tie your script to the domain its running on and encode your scripts with Ioncube. For this to work your host's server has to have the Ioncube loader extensions enabled, this is almost certain to be installed because many scripts rely on it. |
I helped you do the final "pimping". Troll https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-719693.0.html |
Will be online in a few hours. Need to deliver a web app in a couple of hours and client happens to be waiting on YIM to test. |
What do spammers do? Send SPAM mails. Who does it affect? You How does it affect you? You get a lot of SPAM emails when you check your mail. Why do you check your mail? Because you need to see if you have any mails Would you check a mailbox that you don't use for anything important? No So why don't you create an email solely for your domain(s) whois and don't attend to it? Logical enough Are you likely to lose money (from potential customers who dont like that you are hiding) because you have domain privacy On? YES Are you likely to lose money (from potential customers who see your domain information) because you dont have domain privacy On? NO Are you likely to gain more trust with domain privacy? Well I gave ucoz about 12 hours to respond and they didnt. Took the matter up with their datacenter and voila, site was removed in 10 minutes. Bug no mind this object abeg. pass me the stuff
Funds in my credit cards could put you and your generation on monthly minimum wage for the rest of your pathetic low life so don't make a fuss. |
Domain privacy conveys the impression that you are hiding. Not good for a domain that involves online transactions/money. I know a lot of people who won't shop on a site with domain privacy. Look at ebay.com for example. |

Seeing as you are not wise enough to do something with your life order that steal and you lacked comprehension of the Terms of Service of ucoz.com which warns against such things as you are doing on their domain, I have filed an abuse report to ucoz.com. Thankfully the have a "Report Abuse" link on their homepage. Start getting all "important" data off your site as I don't see it lasting, except ucoz are are silly as you which I doubt. |
