I built the node where this server is on, I own the node. I control the traffic and I modified the iwp script and it updates a database with number of users. It has over 100 concurrent connections on it and cpu speed is at 0.03. So the present number of users on it are using a minute fraction of a single core in its quad core architecture. As for datacenter issues, its connected to a 1gbps connection which has 20TB monthly bandwidth allocated to that node.

This server won't be used for iwp in the long run, got a bigger, better project it will run on for the benefit of all.

Hmmm under good network conditions this server should perform better than then resellerng servers, theoretically.

I powered the resellerng servers on nodes that I ran with a 100mbps connection. But this server is sitting on a node with 1000mbps connection.
Then again I put all the nodes in the same geographical location. . . just a few blocks apart.

Let's see how things go sha with this one. . .
I could resurrect the resellerng servers for test too but I doubt if they will be any better than this.

The results from the test so far is prettyy good, no noticeable difference in ram and cpu usage . . . yet.

The server was dead flat, not a telnet block. Its interesting to also note the change in the hostname so this means work was most likely done on that server and that's why it is back up.

Weldone, nothing wrong in admitting a server fault. . . its not your fault. They are machines.

Works from here, just checked. Pages seem to be loading up slow, network hasn't been too good in the past couple of hours.

Just deleting that line will take the site back to normal. . .only until the bot/human/goat injects it again.
More has to be done like changing passwords. . . on an apache server some mod_security rulesets can help.

If this happened on a custom coded web application it may be some coding loopholes on the part of the developer. This however is SMF. Dear Nairaland, upgrade. If this should go in the news it will be that a popular forum powered by SMF was compromised. They won't go into details as to how this forum has lost its touch as pure SMF with tweaks and counter tweaks.

From what I gather on his site he does domain registration at 1,500 per year.
Cheapest hosting plan is 200 per month which is 2,400 per year.
Total package for hosting and domain reg is 3,900 per year. Where is the hunger in this, people?

If yes to the above, do you offer consolidation?
If yes yes to both above, do you actually take care of all customs duties/clearance?

I have a service which does all of these except the last and been using it for a year and its very cheap. . . only that the Nigerian customs are a weird class of humans when it comes to calculating customs duties. I dunno how my 5 pound DHL package of electronics skipped any duty charges, few days back but I won't count on tht repeating itself.

This is for IWP versions 1 and 2.
I assume that's all the info anyone would need to know what to do.
I left it as tutorial.php intentionally.

Running this test to see how much load this server can hold before bursting. Its a VPS I created just for the test, if its in any way making the main node unstable, I will pull the plug. 

I have tested under the following conditions
Win 7, MTN fastlink modem, firefox, internet download manager (idm)

Results:
300 - 450 kb/s download on IDM (on MTN HSDPA)
