I don't want to be a GEJ apologist; but why all this noise about GEJ's candidacy. This issue has been on since 2011. this raises the question of Why do you want him out? why pressure him on issues of 2015 at a time as early as 2011?

The attraction politicians have is all about what they will loot/ get from governance, irrespective of what Political party they profess to be in.

APC have a feeling that they will be at the centre in 2015. Forget the "we want to rescue Nigeria" chorus. what oils the engine of politics is misappropriation of funds and outright corruption. Only fools think there is no corruption in APC.

the Confab has an objective of changing the status quo, which will make politics at the centre less attractive. If this is done, APC as a political engine will not have so much zeal. This is a fact that is known to APC. The success of the confab will reduce the quest for power at the centre and APC being interested at the centre, riding on the sentiments of so many disgruntled Nigerians feels threatened.

PBundles: Sorry but thats not true what you stated. Classical music has been said to have soothing effect on your demeanor BUT productive dont know about that. Actually it was proven sometime ago that pulsating music (rap, rock) made one work hard be focused and as such more productive.

The learning of a musical instrument wont make you smarter, its the same as any other learning process and as such can increase brain activity. Sukudo ( japanese logic puzzles) have been tested to stimulate and boost brain power, which is NOT the same as increasing IQ. 2 different things.

mekaboy: To me it would be wise for the presidency to set up an agency to monitor other agencies. This agency can have people from anti corruption agencies in other parts of the world.

Now this agency will be made up of auditors, accountants and lawyers. Their responsibility will be to investigate the investigators. Monitor judgments of the judiciary, the activities of efcc, police, icpc. When a case of corruption is brought up, they will follow up to ensure that justice is not sold.

So while the efcc or icpc are investigating a case, they will follow up. If a judge takes bribe and gives wrong judgment, the agency will take on the judge.

The presidency will not interfere in any case of corruption.
