If this is the case, then let the electorate decide and not a media campaign by those who don't want him to get his party ticket. I think the battle of who gets APC presidential ticket should be taken seriously by Buhari.

Some persons are threatened by his emergence at the APC primaries. hence, they want to demonize him and make him step aside early enough so that they can have their way in a party he gave his all to. Buhari should wake up!!

ONLY THE ACN goons will be against Buhari's candidacy. Buhari knows this. I support Buhari contesting. If Buhari is not given the ticket,Then the merger is a failure.

If the electoral procedure and processes was not acceptable to all the governors; then, both should step down and the process revisited to something acceptable to all. one group believed in consensus candidacy the others believed in the secret balloting. But the election went one with out the process being acceptable to all. Some governors had their reservations voiced before the election but went on with it, just to see the outcome. Fact remains that You can not have a unified governors forum If both do not step aside. The northern governors forum died because of the politics of intrigue and betrayal in the Nigeria governors forum. Amechi and Jang would have to step down. any other way, will not yield much result as some trust was betrayed. you wouldn't want to have a forum with so much trust issues.

On the other hand, The NGF is turning into a big cabal Nigerians should be watchful we don't need these forums.

Thank you. Its quite unfortunate the way people think. every thing is about politics and fooolish sentiments. The same kind of law was passed in Rivers state and no one is saying anything about it. There is no criminal activity that will be addressed in this country if we continue like this. If it is arm twisting, so be it. then the civil society should take up the case from the arm twisting level and bring it to logical conclusion. Some comments are just so unfortunate. I don't believe in any political party because of things like this our mind set. Nigerians are not ready for change we just want our person to steal because others have stolen.

APC has Nothing to offer.sentiments aside. Insulting the president cannot make you win election. From inviting the president to join APC to the president being a KG president is unfortunately petty. They have not said anything to make reasonable people vote for them. all what they say is " Give us the presidency " and then thy insult the president. Is that how a party can win election? lets be honest. APC will not win if they continue like this.

Be it Amaechi or Jang. I think governors should face governance in their respective states. period.

Buhari has the right to run for president. he has massive cultlike follower-ship in the north. and should not back down. Buhari should know that this is a media campaign by the ACN to dictate what happens in the APC. Buhari should insist on running or he loses his political investments and relevance.
