These ones are old pictures of ASABA. The place is growing slowly, But more need to be done. Personally, I think Asaba became visible Under Uduaghans administration. People rarely hear of Asaba before Uduagahns administration. Obviously the previous governors never stayed in Asaba.

This northern element have been heating up the polity since April 2011 till date. Plotting the downfall of this administration. They should know that even If a northerner emerge as President in 2015, Some persons will also want to destabilize his government.

kel4soft: Do you think the North will be destabilized? GEJ is one clueless man who use clueless people like Akpabio and Wike to achieve his goal. Both are violent are deadly in their respective state politics, it can't be extended to national politics cos is a different kettle of fish. GEJ needs the Northern states especially Kano, Jigawa, Niger and Sokoto like they also need him. He wants a compromise with them, but from what am seeing he want Amaechi to be out of the equation which these northern Governors are refusing to betray unlike how the south-south PDP states Governors are doing. GEJ will def come back 2015, but politics is give and take, trying to finish Amaechi's political career with the assurance of Tukur, Akpabio and Wike is his greatest undoing.

Because that house was already dead IMO. A house that is an appendage of Amaechi led Executive. Passing obnoxious laws that is not aimed at benefiting the people of rivers.

That bloody house approved an outrageous sum of approximately 50 million USD for the purchase of a private jet for Amaechi so that he can own a jet and then gallivant the globe when he is out of office(as it was not well registered to show it totally belonged to River State) .

That same House approved that two houses be built for Amaechi in PH and ABJ among other things; where there are no housing scheme for civil servants in the state.

RSHA has to value to the people of river state. People are just being sentimental about the issues in Rivers State just to earn political capital/relevance. Unfortunately the right questions are not being asked.

This should have been an opportunity for the needed revolution in Rivers state, an opportunity for a corona inquest on governance in Rivers state, an opportunity for a critical evaluation of the so called dividend of democracy relative to the amount being spent.
